Villas are very nice and private, excellent for romantic break. Some remarks to improve service: loud cleaning personnel in morning outside the villa, very rigid drop off points, drivers most of the time unavailable, slow administration and check out handling, room cleaning half done.

The villas had a nice layout. Sitting in the bath overlooking the pool was great. You could even step from the bath to the pool if you wanted to! A couple of free beers in the fridge with nuts, chocolate and cookies when we first arrived was a nice touch. Service from the staff was excellent. Always very friendly. We ate most breakfasts at our villa and it was never delivered late. You have to remember this is bali. The building quality is not what you would expect in western countries. It needs a bit of maintenance but it is clean. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was too loud. The motor made alot of noise when it was not on full power and when it was on full power the blades were too loud. The split system air con unit in the room was quite loud too. It is not an invertor type so did not have alot of settings. We didn't sleep well the 7 nights we were there. The food was not so good either. Avoid the nachos from room service!!

The only positive about Ranadi Villa was that because it was surrounded by 4 walls it was private. The staff were nice and polite. The design of the villa was very nice however you could not open the sliding doors by the bath to overlook the pool and lawn, due to the extreme direct heat in the morning and mosquitoes and heat in the afternoon. You could not leave the double sliding doors open into the bathroom from the bedroom because of the extreme heat. The air-conditioner was noisy and in the middle of the day was battling to cool the bedroom even though curtains and doors were closed. The water from the outdoor shower pooled under the decking which was a mosquito breeding ground, so you had to be really quick about showering and going to the toilet. The food was ordinary and crockery stained (the housemaid washed our dishes with running water using just her hands, no cloth or detergent). The pool had a film of pollution on it so I did not use it. We left after one night (we had paid for 4 days).

The Villa was lovely, private and spacious. Although under cover, having the toilet outside was a novel experience and highly entertaining during a late night thunder storm! Having a private pool was the best thing ever and the lounge room was a delight. The staff were great, polite and very helpful- nothing was ever too much trouble. A real haven from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. lol, not being able to get cricket world cup coverage- buy hey, if that's the only thing we didn't like, it's got to be all good eh?

“Great privacy, incredible service and facilities. We especially liked the private breakfast in our villa and private aromatherapy steam room. We would highly reccommend this for any couples planning to stay in Seminyak.” Dipa, London |
