Amazing staff, nothing too much trouble, including a packed breakfast for our 5am departure. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good food.

The staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. This is the best service and best little hotel were have probably ever stayed at. Better than most 5 star establishments. The rooms were clean and perfect. The food unbelievable. The pool and gradens refreshing and relaxing. The airport shuttle timely and friendly. The location just far enough outside of busy Yogya. Can't recommend highly enough and cant wait to go back.

Wifi in the back rooms a little slow and intermittent.

This is a lovely small hotel tucked beautifully into a residential/small commercial/small scale agricultural area of Yogya that is gentrifying rapidly. It is the essence of charming, giving you he feeling you are living in a luxurious home, rather than a hotel. Food was great, pool lovely. We even had a clear view of Mt. Merapi fuming one morning from the pool. Drivers are excellent and reasonable. Wide range of international guests. We were the only Americans during our stay. You'll love it!

Nothing. A minor drawback isthat some cab drivers don't know where it is, but hotel staff are good at directing them.

The staffs are very helpful, breakfast is good with a lot variety everyday. The room and the bath room are clean and the staffs always ready to assist us.

My friend and I stayed here and could not fault anything. The staff are more than attentive, the food fantastic, lovely gardens and pool. nothing was too much trouble in this small hotel. we were able to arrange a car with them and advise on where to go. highly recommended

We only paid around 35 dollars for this fantastic hotel. Normally you can not expect much for this price. But we got an incredible 5 star service. Good food. Good spa. Nice tours arrangements . Just very good

everything at rumah mertua was great. from the amazing little rooms quietly nestle in a traditional javanese garden, with a nice pool, very friendly and efficient staff that were available 24/7 for any service, info, help. the restaurant is good, massages are nice. i definitely recommend it

Everything was great about this small romantic hotel. They will just do EVERYTHING to make the guests happy. The service is so personal with a real warm smile, instead of those plastic smiles you get in those 5 star huge hotels. Rumah Mertua has only 11 rooms. So this is the place to be if you visit Yogya.

I like the concept with cozy room and nature environment. Quite and peaceful. I enjoyed the swimming until midnight and good breakfast meals.

The staff are exceedingly friendly, helpful and accommodating and can organise many things for you. The garden and pool area is a pleasure and the deluxe and superior rooms have an outside seating area that adds to your space and comfort. Rooms are spacious and super clean and the food is well prepared and presented. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Yogyakarta. It is not in the centre, but we found that a recommendation and transport is never a problem

We just like about everything about this place. You don't feel like staying in a hotel, but staying with a warm , friendly family. The coffee and tea is all day for free. You don't have to make your coffee and tea yourself, but they serve it for you for free. Rumah Mertua has a beautifull garden. The food is excelent. De staff very warm and friendly. They wil just do everything to make your stay comfortable. The best hotel during our stay in Indonesia. Besides the best hotel it was also the cheapest hotel we stayed in. In this beautifull country. Keep up the good work Rumah Mertua
