We stayed in two different rooms, and the second one had very poor internet access. We pretty much had to sit outside in the heat to get any connection at all. It would have been nice to have a little higher quality breakfast if possible, for example, fresher breads, and perhaps brown bread or whole grain included. Lastly, and this is not Samba Villa's fault, the call to prayer at the mosque was really loud there. But it was only the 5 am call which was much of a problem. Wear earplugs and you can probably sleep through it.
The staff was really friendly, and the lineup of services was complete. They would arrange anything for you if you want. Regarding the friendliness, you could say this about many tourism businesses in Indonesia, but I think every single person from the gardener to the manager made us feel personally welcome. The dinners were really great, with fresh fish available. Our first night there was good music in the Samba lounge.
