They got a beautiful lotus pond and rice field. You can do massage outdoors, amongst the rice field. It is more beautiful than the places of interest that we visited in Ubud. Staff are so friendly and nice. I have already missed this place.
The bathtub is outdoors, so it needs a bit cleaning. Other than this, it is perfect.
1. The set up of the resort is very relaxing and serene. 2. Food . 3. Staff. 4. Pool.
1. Poor wifi connection 2. Shuttle service frequency to city centre is low.
Serene place, perfect for being away from the hustle bustle of city life.
We book for deluxe with rice field view. The view from our terrace was terrific, as far as you can see, it's all green, such a rare scenery, we won't find it at big city. The room was adopting vernacular architecture concept which was great, we felt like stayed at local people house. And what we like the most from our room is the semi-open bath room, very calming and relaxing ambiance. We really have a great time there, and we'll be back for sure
Everything was great, but it will be better if you check your wifi connection, it's a little bit slow
I felt a heart calming atmosphere there, wonderful view, nice surrounding, traditional style room, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff, great local food, perfect place for retreating from the hustle bustle of the city
-Bungalows are nice designed -you have a direct view on the farmers in the field (pro and con)
-dirty bed linen (insects ), ground floor, calcify classes in the bathroom -breakfast with old tasted sweet pattern, MiGoreng included with a big ant, bird droppings on the breakfast table ( I was entertained from 2 persons and nobody recognize it) I complained a bunch of times. The nice smiling lady from the desk tried to do her best and offers me a upgrade, but this "luxury bungalows" looks same prepared than my standard one. -the staff isn's well trained and I had the impression of a insufficient management.
The hospitality and facilities is good. If you need a calm and quite place, you should try to stay here. Overall, staying here makes me relax. I will consider to return next time.
Surroundings, friendly staff, peace, serenity and tranquility and the sounds of nature particularly the ducks. Good food although more variety would be an improvement.
Lack of privacy, specifically local farmers able to have potential access to rooms and surrounds and visibility into private areas.
Staff were very nice and helpfull Reasonable accomodation close to Ubud central area. Would recommend .
The lake setting is quiet and attractive with interesting bird and fish life Nice outdoor pool
Although they are building some new accommodation, the remainder of the bungalows are lacking in maintenance The door to my bungalow was hanging off it's hinges along with other functional problems. The bungalow I was moved to to get wifi reception had similar problems and poor to no wifi connection Reception staff were friendly but had insufficient standard of English
The rice paddies surrounding the villas, and our great villa and no steps
the location and scenery
If there were some cotton bubs and better toiletries would make the stay much more comfortable.
Saying Ubud is paradise on Earth is an understatement. And in such a place Sapu Lidi marries perfectly with that atmosphere. Excellent service and great value for your money.
Everything! It is a great place to relax and enjoy the faciliticies in a very indonesian way. The food is good, free transport to the center of Ubud, rice fields just in front of your room!!!! It is a honey-dream, really. We miss it so much.
Big room with a nice outside bathroom and a terrace with view over a rice field. Really calm and relaxing place. I liked the set up of the room and the comfi bed. Perfect place to calm down for a view days. The staff is really helpful and encouraged giving you a pleasant stay. The shuttle service to the centre is convenient.
everything ok except some small things like a missing bedside lamp. The dugs on the fields are noisy in the early morning.
Sapu Lidu is a calm and serene place to stay. Happily well away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, If you seek peace and quiet this is the place for you. The hotel is too far away from the town center to be able to comfortably walk and you wouldn't want to anyway because the streets are too busy. The ricefields upon which many of the rooms you incredibly pretty. Birds fly gracefully around and there is the Hypnotizing ring the bells that scare away the birds which is not in anyway onerous.
The remoteness of the resort is somewhat compensated by the free transports. However it does very much limit you to spending time in Ubud before you are forced to return to catch the shuttle If you're flush with money taxis are always available. I would suggest that you purchase a standard room because we stayed in a deluxe room one night which had a mud filled spa (intentionally filled with mud I'm sure) and the serenade of howling dogs from the local village all night long. Hardly value for money from $90 an night.
You can love it or hate it - you are close to the nature. Nice and clean villa with huge windows, surrounded by rice paddies, great atmosphere, canopy and pictures of wild animals on the walls, bathroom without ceiling, good breakfast, nice massage
Staff spoke poor English, it's not in the center of Ubud, so a bit difficult to find. Farmers shouting in the morning.
at first disappointed with ubud being so noisy and crowded we found a quiet place, sapu lidi where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. the property is not new but it has a special charm (rice fields, cute ducks roaming almost at your doorstep, frogs quire in the night...)
its bit overpriced
Value for money was terrific. Rooms were excellent.
Ac is cold, hot water is hot, room is nice and big! Room service isn't expensive. And food was fine. Ten minutes away from Ubud center, but hotel has free shuttle bus.
The farmer starts working at six in the morning, noisy!
The view on the ricefields directly from your room are to fall in love with. Breakfast was very good and the rooms are very traditional equipped. They offer a shuttle to the city centre which is very cool. Considering that Ubud is very quite in the evening, taking the last shuttle at 9.30pm wouldn´t hurt that much.
the view and rice field very beatiful
the cano cannot use it
Warm welcome, very friendly staff, good bed. We really enjoyed to stay in this resort.
Price, rooms (although run down)
Staff inexperienced and no idea, did not obtain room paid for with no comments. Air conditioning did not work and not fixed after brining to senior managers attention. Although promoted as private pool had to share with strangers. Door runners in terrible condition in bedroom almost impossible to lock or slide. Old man (possibly owner of land) kept wandering into our villa including bedroom.
