Ac is cold, hot water is hot, room is nice and big! Room service isn't expensive. And food was fine. Ten minutes away from Ubud center, but hotel has free shuttle bus.
The farmer starts working at six in the morning, noisy!
The view on the ricefields directly from your room are to fall in love with. Breakfast was very good and the rooms are very traditional equipped. They offer a shuttle to the city centre which is very cool. Considering that Ubud is very quite in the evening, taking the last shuttle at 9.30pm wouldn´t hurt that much.
the view and rice field very beatiful
the cano cannot use it
Warm welcome, very friendly staff, good bed. We really enjoyed to stay in this resort.
Price, rooms (although run down)
Staff inexperienced and no idea, did not obtain room paid for with no comments. Air conditioning did not work and not fixed after brining to senior managers attention. Although promoted as private pool had to share with strangers. Door runners in terrible condition in bedroom almost impossible to lock or slide. Old man (possibly owner of land) kept wandering into our villa including bedroom.
The private swimming pool that it is so beautiful. The view out of room that it is amazing.
The breakfast that it isn't tasty.
This place is great for privacy - it is really secluded, and you won't even know there are other guests staying in the resort. The room (executive) was really lovely, with a beautiful view, enormous semi-outdoor tropical-themed bathroom, and shared plunge pool. Breakfast was nice, with a decent selection of foods, and omelettes on demand. The main pool is a great size, so you can definitely do some proper swimming if you want.
The location is a bit too far out of the centre of town. The traffic is so bad in Ubud at certain times that it can take up to 45 minutes just to get a taxi back. You wouldn't want to walk it either because there are feral dogs all over the place... Would advise guests to rent a motorbike. The younger female receptionist is pretty unhelpful. Other members of staff were nice enough, but this girl either just doesn't want to help, or literally has zero initiative or knowledge of the local area. Very frustrating at times (too many situations to list off one by one). The main pool is dirty, and the surrounding pool area just feels unfinished compared to other places we stayed. They could easily fix this by covering bear concrete with some wood decking, and just cleaning the pool every day (other hotels do this - I've seen it). The fact that it's in the middle of a rice farm is both good and bad. It's great because its really nice to see how actual Indonesian farms work, and you really feel immersed in the culture. It's bad because occasionally, a farmer might randomly wander into your villa grounds. Don't get me wrong - they're obviously harmless, and have more right to be there than the hotel, but it's just a bit scary when you're in the pool and there's a guy standing over you saying stuff to you in Bahasa and holding a machete... Overall, this hotel could be absolutely amazing, but it is let down by the lack of finishing touches.
I like the setting of the room, however, was not really convenient if you need to go out at night for food or to centre market, etc.
The menu at the restaurant do not have much choice same applies to the breakfast.
Nice lake / Great view Ricefields Very friendly staff Nice big bed Good shower And bath outside Pool near the bungalow :)
We likes everything but IT looks like the hotel is a bit older And Needs refreshing. New roofs, painting etc Extra beds At the pool with cushions ? The service And knowledge of the staff At reception / housekeeping can be improved.
natural environment, some very lovely staff, food tasted nice, however, we both had some digestive issues & question clean practice in kitchen. On viewing kitchen, it was limited in equipment & aged etc.
No seat covers/Padding, for sun chairs next to private pool, couldn't use them! Website reports you have a 'private' pool, however, it is shared between 2 villas. Did NOT have privacy, as expected, there were fishermen, children & passers through at the front of the villa, who often stopped & looked in. People have No concept of privacy or what some people would consider 'rude'. (so much for wandering undressed inside your villa!) Lack of English skills, ability to provide truthful information, & follow through on service, get back to you, with an issue (just saying 'sorry' does not mean anything, if you don't try in some way to solve an issue!)
looking good on the outside but is bad on the inside
the blacket and sheet were dirty on arrival and had to ask twice to let it changed, only 4 beds at pool, poor breakfast, damaged (wooden) floor of the shower.
Restaurant staff were friendly.
Local dogs howling all night long. Power went out twice for the whole resort. Wifi went down. No international TV and no other inhouse entertainment. Bed and bathroom linen were stained, old and fraying. Rude reception staff.
Lovely view of the rice fields from our bed.
Not alot really a bit dissapointing all round. Left after 4 out of 5 days. I'll be surprised if this gets printed.
The style of accommodation with the separate bathroom facilities, wasn't shown clearly on the website. The breakfasts were basic. The reception staff were not that good with the english language. The cleaning was poor to fair and basic. The cost was the same as the villas we stayed in Sanua and they were far superior. The complex looks older than !8mths and done on the cheap.
Beautiful paddy fields views from public area and remote enough to be tranquil. Great infinity pool. Front desk tried their best to address our complaints but they were so basic that this was one of the worst resort experience ever.
For the first time in my life, I had to complain so many times to front desk! We arrived at 15.00 for 14.00 check-in time but they still weren't ready so they asked us to wait for 1 hour. We decided to go to Ubud Centre and had dinner there before we got back at 19.00ish. They put our luggage in the villa so we were quite happy until we discovered that they put us in a room that is not yet completed! There was no hot water, no TV cable connection and the bath tub's filter didn't work so we couldn't use it. The worst problem is the cleanliness of the room; there were spider webs everywhere, from bedroom ceiling to shower head, we also found half opened coke can in the fridge, and on top of it, the linens were dirty with unknown black, grey and red stains. We asked them to swap our room but they told us that they were overbooked and offered a dinner for 2 (which I changed to 20% discount instead). I expected more for their price plus their information was not completely correct. We didn't get any paddy field views but instead we were looking at a main road. Ditto with location, Monkey Forest Road is at least 2 km away and unless you are super fast, it will take you more than 10 minutes to get there. They have free shuttle that runs every 2 hours so you should take that instead. Overall, a very disappointing stay even with 20% discount following our complaints.
Location and theme of place was good. Good use of the surrounding nature.
Rest room was not that clean and maintained. It has a pool inside but no water and not clean either. Should think of a way to prevent Mosquitos from entering in the bedroom
staff very friendly and helpfull. Recommended place to stay for young couple or family.
Room was clean, view was stunning, breakfast was nice, staff were friendly
distance to Ubud is not too far but poorly lit and no paths for about 200 m before hotel, slight language barrier with staff made one or two requests which were not understood, but was not a big deal
So natural environment
The access so small that only fit 1 car, very dark when night, quite hard to find the hotel sign when night, not enough lightning in the room, barely can not see my things clearly, the room was smell cause its made mostly from the wood, and the traffic was jam around 2-5pm, the bath equipment such as shower gel & shampoo was not there when I'm in shower so I just have to shower with water TT, the service was not even meet the standard quality
Nice breakfast, friendly staff, interesting views. Close to town.
Environment, location, ambiance are nice. The design of room and garden are beautiful. A creek is flowing under my cottages, lilies ponds, and the rice paddy surrounding are awesome. Atmosphere is peaceful and quiet.
Service, efficiency, room equipment really needed to be improved. I was told my room is mistakenly not prepared for my first night due to computer problem during the way to the hotel when their driver pick me from airport! And I had to be transferred to other hotel for that night! This is totally unacceptable! I've already paid for all room rate in June! Luckily a couple cancelled their booking so I get my room back! Lighting in room is bad, some lights in the bath room are not working, I could hardly read a book at night in bed room. Miss my morning call for 2 times although I have placed my requests several times before to different staffs, air-condition is malfunction too.
Everything - the staff, the driver Mr Kominie, the location, the room, outdoor shower and breakfast.
Clean, comfort, very cozy, good price
I can see flies at the food at the restaurant...
Beds were very comfortable. Our private pool overlooking the paddy fields was fantastic. Breakfast was very good and restaurant was in a beautiful location. Very quiet, peaceful and unique experience.
Not walking distance from central Ubud, but shuttle service provided by the accommodation was good. My wife didn't appreciate the animal noises (birds, insects, frogs, goats, dogs, chickens, cows) of the paddy field at night due to being a light sleeper, but I found these quite pleasant.
