The hotel is a real gem in Sanur, with beautiful gardens and bungalows and a great pool. The beach is literally behind the pool, clean and well maintained. The hotel is clearly in need of renovation. The food at the bar and restaurant is a bit pricy.

The location is ideal. The rooms , bathroom is way too small, the outside lounges on the bungalow balcony always smell of cats urine.

It's right on the beach and the hotel grounds are nice. It is way over priced. The food was horrible, the accommodations simple - way below standard for what was advertised.

Very friendly staff, good swimming pools and relaxed atmosphere. Gardwns were very well kept. Actual exchange rate used by the hotel significantly impacts the apparent good deal obtained on the internet. Not sure that the approach of quoting in USD and then leaving payment to the hotel's exchange rate is really what people are after.

Lovely pools - there were 3 in total. Main pool was facing the beach front, excellent! The grounds were lush and green. Very relaxing. Staff were courteous and helful. The towels in the room were worn out. Also there was only one restaurant and the menu was limited.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great pools and relaxing atmosphere.Gardnes were very well kept and the renovated rooms very nice (unfortunately we did not have a renovated room). We booked online on the basis of the quote and the fact that 2 children under 12 stayed free, but when we got to the hotel we had to pay an additinla $15 per night for the second child - this plus a hotel exchange rate that was some 7-10% over the official rate meant that the holiday started on a bit of a sour note -the hotel ended up costing us 15% more than the price we booked for.

Excellent staff, careful, friendly, ready to help. Beautiful landscape: hotel is like a temple in a magic tropical garden. Very quiet. Perfect for families with children and all those who are looking for a quiet rest in a lovely place. Unexpected surprise: free internet in the room. We had nothing to complain about.

The grounds were stunning. The rooms well designed and comfortable. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. The building site next to our assigned room! Not good when you we had come to the hotel to relax! We asked to change rooms and the kindly upgraded us so we could :-) We had a twin room and they made the bed into a double but didn't provide a double duvet, only two singles.

Good location on beach, good service, hotel was spotless - very well kept The "compulsory" New Years Eve gala dinner that was not advised when we made the booking, otherwise we would not have booked. We were advised this 5 weeks after booking and it was a battle to get this charge (US$200 !!) removed from our bill as we were not attending the dinner. It was removed eventually but it was an unnecessary issue that we could not believe was being challenged i.e. we were being told we had to pay even though we were not going to be at the hotel on the evening.

The setting. The resort is made to look like a Balinese village, and the grounds are really beautiful, with a temple, statues, trees, the pool blend seamlessly with their surroundings. Truly stunning. The staff was very pleasant, eager to serve, always smiling. When I made the booking, I was very clear about our family needing two extra beds for our children, and I sent an email and was told it was no problem. Upon arriving, we found out that the bungalow at Segara village 2 could not accommodate two extra beds or there would be no room left to move about the room. We were moved to another room (220) which was larger, but older. It was a nice room, but the cleaning was not very good, we had to call housekeeping back twice, and there was also an unpleasant sewage smell floating around a lot of the time. Guests paying such an amount per night shouldn't have to go through this type of experience, even if the staff was more than willing to clean the room again, or try their best to cover said smell.

Beachside location, close to shopping and resturants and central Sanur. Check in was shocking. Worst I've had! Made to wait as staff member answered phone at least 20 times, room was not ready at check in time and had to wait 1 1/2 hours with 3 young kids crying. No apology offered at all. Found check-in staff arrogant and unfriendly. wouldn't stay there again for this reason.

Vloer van de kamer: tip: nat schoon maken. En ligstoel buiten was te vies om naar te kijken laat staan om op te zitten. Verder een stoel extra op de kamer.
