Beach, friendly helpful staff, both restaurants great, location to other attractions
Noisy neighbors who did quieter down after request to do so, one night of mozzies until area was fogged
Location good. comfortable bungalow with front porch. access to swimming beach. Strong & hot water pressure in shower.
tripple room booked but had to request extra bed upon arrival, long wait.. no extra towel/water. Below average breakfast. Mean with room coffee/tea. Basic swimming pool. Shower recess, bathroom floor & shower curtain needed good clean. Below standed.
Quiet location away from main road, best end of Sengiggi Beach away from wharf. Great for both families and couples.Excellent sunset view with Agung in the background.
Quite a distance from entrance to some rooms, but that's why it's so quiet.
- location - food was good - staffs were helpful and friendly
- a bungalow room which costs a lot more than a superior room is not up to standard. The superior room is much cleaner and better as to compared to the bungalow rooms. The size is pretty much the same and I am still wondering why it costs a whole lot more. - the hotel was said to be fully booked when it is actually not. I could not downgrade my room from the bungalow type to the superior type even though the hotel was not fully booked as I was not satisfied with the bungalow which is worn out and dirty.
Very quite clean and comfortable resort. Breakfast was pretty impressive.
The new airport is now over an hour away from the resort, where the old one was only 15 mins.
The location was great, right on the beach.
This place was too expensive for what you got. For other young couples or travellers I would recommend staying on a less expensive place.
the noisy neighbours
Loved the Sunset Point area with the band playing as the sun set behind the Bali mountain over the sea. Bar staff so friendly and helpful. The Seaside Bungalows are still our favourite after 5 years of staying in Lombok.Breakfast is very good with so much variety.
Some of the reception staff are not the friendliest we have encountered in Indonesia. Efficient but lack personality and warmth. Only place we have ever experienced this in many years of visiting Lombok and Bali. The genuine warm touch that makes Indonesian people so special is missing here.
position and staff and breakfast
Position next to the harbour. Beach in front of hotel. Hotel exterior is wonderfull.
Rooms are very old and require immediate renovation. Towels and bedlinens not clean. Lizards in the room. Rooms are not that value for money. More 2-3 star than 4 star hotel. Hawkers on the beach.
Perfect location. Friendly helpful staff. Perfect sunset bar on the beach.
Having our check in delayed. Had to wait for over an hour.
The lushy gardens are beautiful. Breakfast is good: lots of choices. Nice beach with lots of beds. The food in the italian restaurant is good, but the choices are limited.
The rooms are quite small. The furniture is dated and needs replacement. The little town does not offer much.
Beautiful resort on a peninsula with beach access Performing internet access almost everywhere
Although requested otherwise in the reservation, the hotel wanted to give us a twin room (instead of king-size bed room). After discussion, we finally got the right room.
Location was nice right on Sengigi beach. The resort & gardens are quite beautiful. Room service food was good.
The rooms & bathrooms were a bit old. (But clean)
Good location, close to the harbor; kind staff; nice landscape.
Nothing! Just perfect
Service and all
Breakfast great Beach good for swimming Location excellent Outdoor shower
Bungalow was tiny. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything next door. Bathroom was horific, worst I've ever had. Was very old, very damp smell and floor always wet from leaking toilet.
Almost everything, my favorite part was the private beach.
For us,everything!!Ambience was great, beach swimming fabulous(although very clean, never used the pool, beach in front of hotel clean, well policed, hagglers controlled!).Able to snorkel from hotel beach.Staff always helpful and approachable, especially UYU ,our Captain of the restaurant!!and Hamdi, our first contact, all in all a top holiday experience, THANK YOU Senggiggi Beach Resort,we hope to come again!! P.s. Great band as well!!
Can't remember anything we objected to!
The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Lovely sheets too. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and the view if the sun setting "into" bali's volcano is fabulous from the sunset bar. I had the best massage I've ever had in the spa with karina, I booked the face and body package which was just lovely, but if you're short on time have a 90 minute full body massage with her. The staff at front desk and in the restaurant were a bit rude, but the ground staff were polite and.welcoming.
Mini bar was completely empty :-( Advertising five dining options even though some if them are closed completely.
Excellent location. The Italian restaurant was reasonably priced for a premier resort but service was slow.
Very disappointed by the small size of the dated bungalows. No mosquito nets which was a problem. Very disappointed by the fact that the Kids club had closed but still advertised as open, which was the reason we chose here.
Location is good, sunset bar is nice, reception area looks nice, reception staff are not nice
Rude reception staff, had to pay in full on arrival before seeing the room (should have been a warning sign as no refund was possible after seeing the state of the rooms), wasn't told anything about the hotel and handed a key without directions to the room. After asking where to go they rolled their eyes and yelled at a porter to help. The hotel is so spread out we didn't initially know where we needed to go for breakfast. There were lots of mosquitoes in the dark dirty room during the day, our room smelled like cigarette smoke (the manager did upgrade to a room with a sea view with no smoke smell but still dark and dirty with mosquitoes). The shower flooded, no hair dryer, woke up with 20+ mosquito bites on us, a noisy gecko was inside the room getting fat on insects, pillows stank like they hadn't been washed, sound proofing was non existent so heard neighbours constantly going outside to smoke. Just near the kitchen restaurant, there was a strong smell of sewerage, which is a great way to stay thin after being turned off eating. People were smoking in the non smoking section of the restaurant and the staff didn't say a thing and the food was average for such a big hotel. Too expensive for what you get. They need to reinvest in upgrading the rooms/facilities and a lot of the staff need re-training.
Breakfast was good Hotel was clean- the garden was well maintained Sunset bar was very nice Very quiet hotel, no unnecessary noise Paul on reception was very helpful for organizing trips, activities. Felt quite secure, security staff on site On-site clinic
There was a sewage like smell in the bathroom on arrival. Despite complaints we were not moved to a new room. The next morning we returned to the room to be overcome by some kind of intense fumes. A very scary experience indeed. We were finally moved to a new room and from then on, the stay was more comfortable. The reception staff's English was poor. Food in Rinjani restaurant (dinner) was mediocre. Sengiggi itself is an unappealing location.
Scenery is very good, and good location.
Less variaties for choices of foods during breakfast. There is bedbug looked falling from ceilling, and ants entering or migrating into the bedrooms !!
Good location near plenty of restaurants nice beach and plenty of deckchairs and places to sit in the sun. Breakfast options were good and replenished regularly. Slightly dated but value for money perfect to get away.
Had difficulty using my credit card on the first night. This had nothing to do with my credit card and everything to do with their connection. But was still asked if I had another card. Slightly irritating.
