Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, very nice swimming pool, breakfast was excellent
It had the biggest room I have ever stayed in, big bed, big breakfast, big reception.
staff respond is very slow and sometimes I think they just get you confuse. For example mixing my bag with others when I left to airport and then they called me and I have to figure out to bring back someone else bag to hotel. Weird.
I have stayed in several excellent hotels around Manado, but this is definitely the best. The staff is extra-ordinarily professional and friendly, rooms are clean, comfortable and spaceous. The location is also excellent, with beautiful views, remote from the cities noise and still in the heart of it.
The furnitures may get some new cover.
The bed was excellent and the rooms werd very big.The breakfast was a nice mix between f y swestern and indonesean food. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. There a huge pool which was clean. We've chose thuis hotel because it was a bargain on booking.com and we were looking for something nice for the first two nights after oud flight. We did expect a lot from "the only five star resort". It was very good, but not really worth 5 stars.
The rooms could use some paint and the bathroom could use some extra cleaning or some new stuff (it was clean, but not "five-star-clean"). The food in the evening was a real disappointment (but prices were reasonable). Aaah yes... And the rooms were so big, that the TV got very very small;)
I have tried several good hotels in Manado, but this is clearly the best. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and professional, rooms are spacious and the view is fabulous. Try the spa! It is a retreat within a big city.
Once, the salad at the breakfast buffet was not clean.
spacious room even for superior type
the tour provided from the hotel, not in the same paar of the hotel services
poor quality of toohbrushes
Location, great rooms, great pool, early check in, excellent big ensuite
The service was good. But sometimes taking a long time. Over all good.
Breakfast was tasteless. Slow internet service and noisy room.
Ballroom size and ceiling height ok
Ballroom wall very bad in sound acoustic.
Corner suite on 9th floor had great views. Room service was prompt.
The unit needed to be vacuumed thoroughly.
This is hardly a 4* hotel by international standards. Cheap fake bags are sold in the hotel's shop, bed sheets and table cloths have stains, reception is understaffed and badly organised. Poor information provided on the city and main attractions. Dirty plates laying around in the restaurant. Food selection not impressive.
The hotel is very accommodating for a young energetic family. Staff are friendly, helpful and kind. The views of the city and mountains are lovely. The pool is sparkling clean and has an area for small children. You can do laps if you feel so inclined. The food was delicious and caters for all tastes. The French Fries and Pizza with extra cheese are great for the children to eat and can be served by the pool. The Sunday offer for buffet lunch and a swim is great if you want to catch up with friends staying elsewhere who want to enjoy a good feed and the lovely pool. You can walk into town even with small children in tow. Although Manado can be untidy it is a safe, friendly city full of kind, generous people. If you take advantage of the tours you can enjoy beautiful Tomohon nearby and experience Bunaken which still enchants despite the debris.
It would have been nice to have been provided with a towel poolside.
