Cleaning of the room could and should have been done to a higher standard.
Friendly and helpful staff, nice room, food location with views across town, good size pool (a bit shallow), good buffet breakfast.
clean, large, well lit rooms fitness center friendly, happy staff
the location of the hotel is really strategic, in the middle of manado city, the height of hotel location make us can view all the city, nice sunset view from the hotel room.
Excellent internet, great fitness center, large and well lit room with view
I loved that big swimming pool, clean up to date well maintained fitness equipment. The big comfortable bed was heaven
Spacious room and excellent breakfast. Hotel location also great and nice view from the balcony
The chick-in took a bit too long.
This was a five star hotel at some point in time, but the hotel is starting to show its age. Carpet in our room was old and stained and some paint chips were on the floor. Still, a very nice room.
The location is very good in the downtown area, and easy to find if you are out walking the town. We had a corner suite which was very nice. Seems to be the best hotel in the area.
- We couldn't upgrade our room directly at the hotel as we have booked over booking. Unflexibel personal at the hotel.
- great location and calm - great breakfast
im very like this hotel.
breakfast was very good and the hotel staff very good.and the good room.
staff was very helpful
Wear and tear in bed & bathroom; clear lack of maintenance (stained tiles and marble in bathroom; mold on boards next to window; balcony; unhinged door to mini-bar) Missing amenities (no face towels, soft pillow and shoe shine polish) Slow service; obvious lack of supervision
Excellent receptionists; overall friendly staff, albeit not overly efficient
There were a number of things that went wrong. Firstly, the safety box was locked in my room and it took two visits to the front desk to get it opened. There were no hand towels in the bathroom the first day and one finally got delivered on the evening of the second. I booked a taxi for 9 to take me to the airport (I wrote down the time so there would be no misunderstanding) and one came at 8. When I checked out I spent a full 15 minutes arguing that my room had been charged to my card on the day of booking (as stated on my confirmation from Booking.com) - they were insisting that I still had to pay for it and were demanding my credit card. I didn't even get a proper apology when they realised that they had made a mistake!
A big room with a good view of the city. Close to the centre of town. The Manado porridge for breakfast.
Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, very nice swimming pool, breakfast was excellent
It had the biggest room I have ever stayed in, big bed, big breakfast, big reception.
staff respond is very slow and sometimes I think they just get you confuse. For example mixing my bag with others when I left to airport and then they called me and I have to figure out to bring back someone else bag to hotel. Weird.
The furnitures may get some new cover.
I have stayed in several excellent hotels around Manado, but this is definitely the best. The staff is extra-ordinarily professional and friendly, rooms are clean, comfortable and spaceous. The location is also excellent, with beautiful views, remote from the cities noise and still in the heart of it.
The rooms could use some paint and the bathroom could use some extra cleaning or some new stuff (it was clean, but not "five-star-clean"). The food in the evening was a real disappointment (but prices were reasonable). Aaah yes... And the rooms were so big, that the TV got very very small;)
The bed was excellent and the rooms werd very big.The breakfast was a nice mix between f y swestern and indonesean food. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. There a huge pool which was clean. We've chose thuis hotel because it was a bargain on booking.com and we were looking for something nice for the first two nights after oud flight. We did expect a lot from "the only five star resort". It was very good, but not really worth 5 stars.
Once, the salad at the breakfast buffet was not clean.
I have tried several good hotels in Manado, but this is clearly the best. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and professional, rooms are spacious and the view is fabulous. Try the spa! It is a retreat within a big city.
the tour provided from the hotel, not in the same paar of the hotel services
spacious room even for superior type
poor quality of toohbrushes
Location, great rooms, great pool, early check in, excellent big ensuite
Breakfast was tasteless. Slow internet service and noisy room.
The service was good. But sometimes taking a long time. Over all good.
