location, natur, apartment a lot of potential, but management seems not to be able to make use of its staff is quite ok and friendly

site under construction, main problem is poor management, beach should be cleaned periodically (plastic part, mud), shower at the beach should be fixed, and so on.

Absolutely awful, hopeless lazy staff, far too expensive, salt water shower!!! At 47 dollars a night!!! Breakfast poor...we did'nt use the restaurant, very expensive menu......uncomfortable bedroom with stairs and hatchdoor...not easy when needing the loo at night!!!!!

I did not like this resort at all!!!!

We stayed 4 nights in a bungalow, these are big and nicely decorated with an extra bed on the ground floor. the room was cleaned very well. the hotel is perfectly located at the beach and we could lay on a private pavilion direct at the beach. for us a perfect stay and we would come here again for sure.

After the 4 nights we wanted to extend our stay so we had to move to the deluxe rooms. the rooms are very small and you cant compare them with the bungalows, they are in one big house at the ground floor at the end of the hotel resort. we dont liked the room even with the air condition. the bungalows are way better and cheaper. also the internet is very poor.

The location was good, but so were all the other hotels on the island.

For the local pricing, it was a rip-off. We paid a third more that the going rate! Our toilet had a foul smell that filled the room every time we opened the door. There was no fresh water. All the faucets were salt water. There was a 3 story building directly behind our room where hotel workers would hang out. They would stare directly down into our bathroom. No privacy whatsoever! Even the toilet had a window in the wall and neighbors could see us while we were on the toilet. We spent most of our time in the water snorkeling so we decided to stick it out.

perfect location. good snorkelling with turtles and plenty of other marine life just in front of the hotel, many nice and chilled restaurant everywhere, close and far enough from the harbour. Design of the bungalows and the garden was also nice and the manager was very welcoming.

Our roof leaked during the night so we had to cover our stuff and sleep under an umbrella - not their fault but no staff available at night to help. Generally the staff except for the manager was nice but pretty useless especially at the restaurant (but there are much better restaurants around anyway). Also the garden is a construction site at the moment and the pool will not be completed until mid 2013. The most inconvenient thing probably was that the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs and the wooden stairs have quite a dangerous angle (especially when wet).

The closeness to the beach, good location. Welcoming staff.

Some communication difficulties with the staff. Some uninvited guest in our room, cockroaches. No hot water, we must have missed that when booking.

Toilet is downstairs while the bedroom upstairs- bungalow might not be the best for older people, bathroom could really be improved!

We had a great time at gili air, the location is great, in the middle of the best part for restaurants, snorkeling and diving. Actually, there is a french/ euro origin diving school next to the hotel that is highly recommendable ( gili air diving). Th e price for the rooms is way too high. 80Us is what we paid, for a nice room, indeed, but other venues have much better price quality value. Also they are busy okt 2012 building new bungalows so you will know if u stay at your bungalow during the day. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed, as on the whole island. For nice food at the beach side go scallywags organic beachclub. Nice food, great atmosphere and staff.

Bad smell near to bar.

It was clean, spacious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved our time there and we have already booked another trip to take our children with us. We were so relaxed and got a chance to unwind. It is in a perfect setting!

The stairs going up to the room was just too steep and the railing coming a bit loose. The Air Con in our room was pretty useless. Unfortunately you are set too far back to hear the sea at night.

Great location just across the "road" (sandy track) from the beach where you can eat breakfast overlooking the sea. Good snorkelling immediately off the beach. Convenient for dive schools and a good selection of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk - not at all noisy though. Sunrise Resort has a lovely tropical garden setting of thatched cottages surrounded by palm trees and flowers.Cottages comfortable though not luxurious - comfortable beds with mosquito nets, nice balconies, OK bathrooms (cold showers only - not a problem in Gili's hot climate). Staff very courteous, friendly and helpful. Pretty good value for money given the location - much cheaper than accomodation on Gili T.

The bathroom was on the ground floor and the bedroom upstairs - reached by quite a steep staircase with a fllor hatch. Not really a problem although not that convenient during the night. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

It's location was ideal.

We arrived only to be told a dive couple offered more money for the room, even though we had booked it 2 weeks before. So we were told to go to another hotel . No apologies and weren't able to talk to the manager. Continued to hassle us over going on trips and didn't accept any responsibility for overbooking our room. A hotel only in it for the money. The night we were able to stay our room had contact lense packets left in it and the bathroom smelle and was dirty.

Good clean higher end hotel. Very clean and superb staff. Excellent restaurant although a bit pricey

It was in a great location on the island. The staff were friendly. The ambiance was nice and they had a beautiful garden.

Our room wasn't clean when we got there, but after notifying the front desk they sent housekeeping right away. In the future, I would choose to stay in one of the more modern rooms.

No internet plus noise from current construction.

Good location, very nice bungalow (really love the balcony), the staff are great. Good breakfast with the sunrise on the beachside.

Huone epäsiisti oli kovakuoriaisia ja siivoamaton huone kun mentiin. Joutui useamman kerran pyytämään jotta sai puhtaat lakanat ja toisen tyynyn, Pyyhkeet haisivat uskomattoman pahalle. Ilmastointi todella kovaääninen.

Nice and quiet. Not too expensive, though the deluxe rooms are quite pricy for what you get. Nice snorkling sport in front of hotel, however 70% of the coral is dead. Nice and a lot of colorfull fish though.

Sinceramente me decepciono bastante el hotel, esta viejo y descuidado, la recepcionista es encantadora pero el personal del restaurante no tanto, la comida que ofrecen no es buena y además es cara a los precios de allí.

El hotel me decepciono, sólo pague una noche y me cambie de hotel, los hay mucho mejores y más baratos.

-員工服務好好，很親切有禮。 -打掃很乾淨，而且天天更換毛巾，更會擺放鮮花 -住的bungalow雖然沒空調，但晚上不會熱，中午就會熱。 - 樓下有桌椅，一張小床和一張吊床可以在樓下一層休息 -二樓的陽台不錯
