The Wi-Fi would disconnect really quickly, and the connection was basic, good enough to check/write emails and do some minor research on google, but not to watch videos.
First of all, let’s talk a little bit about Sanur. If you are a “party animal”, then this is not the best place for you. Sanur is quiet and most of the places will shut down around midnight.
Regarding the hotel, we booked a Jacuzzi grand deluxe room that was awesome. When I first saw it, I thought it looks like a honeymoon room. The room is really big and nice and the jacuzzi is actually on the balcony, so you can enjoy the view. The hotel is brand new and not finished yet. We were told that in the future it will have approx. 300 rooms and only 150 were finished in June. But don’t worry about the noise, the hotel is really quiet.
The staff was really kind and helpful every time we needed something. In fact, our first room was close to the water pump which broke, so we could feel a vibration and a bad sound all day long. They checked it but the problem could not be fixed on the spot, and because all the rooms similar to ours were booked, we were offered a room with a small pool. Unfortunately it had two beds that could not be moved (actually, all the beds were fixed so keep that in mind if you are travelling as a couple) so we refused the offer. After two days the very first Jacuzzi grand deluxe room with pool view was finished so we moved there. And to compensate the delay, we got a free ride to the airport. Problem solved!
The breakfast was decently rich with cereals, fruits, pancakes, fresh juices, croissants and other local dishes. We also used the room-service, but we were not satisfied with the food portions which were quite small. But you have plenty of options outside the hotel and even a shop opened for 24hours.
A great thing is that the hotel offers a free bottle of water every day and this can come in handy after a long day on the beach.
The hotel has its own private beach that is at 20 minutes walking distance. A free shuttle is offered starting with 9.30 in the morning and returning at 17.00.
