We stayed in one of the beautiful Lagoon Villas with a fantastic view. The room was well maintained and well equipped, including a nice bowl of fruit on our Arrival. The infinity pool was fantastic and we made a Point of using it everyday and enjoying the view over the lagoon. Wonderful staff, who made our stay a Highlight. Most of the staff were there to give us a heartfelt Goodbye on our departure. That made our day. The Food was good and we enjoyed breakfast on our balcony on the last day. We made use of the Mount Ijen tour and this was fantastic and highly recommendable. Inspite of inflated Prices, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
inflated Prices; be it for the Food, laundry, scooter hire or Transfer to next location. Our scooter was in poor condition and was 3x more than we have ever paid. As the Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, you have to pay high for mobility - whatever the rate to get to see the area independantly. Signage to the Hotel is somewhat lacking and should be improved.
Honestly i like everything
maybe the food at the restaurant could be better but the service was perfect
The pool was amazing, the room was beautiful and the staff were always helpful, the setting was off the beaten track but very very beautiful.
The tv could use updating and the food although delicious was a little pricey
The villa with lagoon view was amazing
Poor breakfast, lunch and dinner. Almost impossible to find, needs more and better sign and directions. The hotel is really gorgeous but not in the best shape. A lot of stuff, including toilets, the pool and so on would require more maintenance.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is at your disposal. The view from the pool is amazing.
The location is perfect and the views very nice.
The AC cannot handle it. Too warm in the room. Balcony is moving when you walk, doesn't feel save. Breakfast: poor. You can choose between toast or.....nothing. Fruit basket in the room: in the night, the cicaks and gekko's eat from it. A lot of loud guests in the swimming pool, drinking their own beer, smoking in the pool, singing. Lot of noise. The staff didn't said anything about it. Staff is not friendly. They even didn't say good bye or thank you after checking out. Way too expensive for what you get. It is a 5 star hotel but deserves only 3.
Amazing location, will never forget this place. Very nice swimming pool
Staff were very nice and helpful. Lovely views. Peaceful.
Very remote. Very hard to find in the dark. Our driver had to stop and ask directions 5 times.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I much preferred the secluded village of Negara to the more tourist filled Ubud (which I visited at the end of my trip). Every day I was greeted by a smile by all of the staff who made sure I was always comfortable and enjoying my stay. I enjoyed all of the activities provided by Taman Wana including the Mount Ijen trek! The massages at the spa were amazing and lasted so long that I often forgot where I was. I would definitely revisit and bring family and family and friends to experience the bliss that is Taman Wana Villas & Spa.
Infiniti pool and the staff was good.
Inflated prices and the food quality was mediocre. The room we got was not like the pictures; the flooring was made of wood that had seen better days. The A/C was not strong enough and TV was a 20 year old 20" (not exactly luxury for 5-star).
The nature and green environment, special and beautiful buildings, spacious room, nice swimming pool and lake view.
