Hotel Tanjung Indah

The hotel is near from Monumen Kapal Selam, train station and some shopping center. The staffs is very nice.

The hotel has a central aircon and doesn't have a remote in each room, so you can't decrease or increase the weather degree.

Nothing

Photos of the rooms are false. No hot water in shower when promised by staff. Dirty floors, mice and cockroaches. I don't want to remember it:/

the pictures of Hotel Tanjung Indah were NOT Tanjung Indah ...they were from their other hotel which is slightly better appointed but still the pictures lie. No promised hot water (their machine was broken, the floors were dirty(cigarette butts) cockroaches and mice in the rooms...sorry but a thumbs down for us.

Close to the railway station.

Filthy. I travel cheap and know what (little) to expect from a cheap hotel, in particular in SE Asia, but this was a dreadful place. The bed sheets said it all - filthy place.

This is just my 8 hours stay before my next flight from surabaya to Bali. It is still okay but due to hot weather, the aircon is not cool at all and the bathroom is quite dirty. Few hours stay is all right.

my budget

The location is only about a 10-15 minute walk to Gubeng train station. The room itself was dirty and run down. The extra security latches on all the rooms they showed me were broken. I propped a chair under the handle to satisfy my paranoia. The air con unit worked, but just barely. There was an on/off switch, but no way to adjust temperature. There were quite a few mosquitoes and I had to spray myself with repellent in order to sleep. I'd try to stay somewhere else if I return to Surabaya, but budget options seem limited in this general location.

The towel - small and too old to use Bathroom- smelly, the tap need to be replace Bedsheet - the white colour already turn to yellow Many mosquitoes.

Location - easily access to Tanjungan Plaza Mall/Submarine Evening vegetable market from 5pm till early morning. Easily to get transport.

Bathroom and strong smell of naphthalene

Lokasi yang strategis di tengah kota Surabaya sangat mempermudah saya untuk menyelesaikan bisnis dengan baik. Tempat penting seperti pusat perbelanjaan dan urusan pemerintahan juga sangat dekat dan mudah dijangkau dengan jalan kaki. Pelayanan dari karyawan di Hotel ini yang meliputi menejemen dan sambutan terhadap tamu yang datang sudah cukup baik. Fasilitas hotel tidak dikatakan sudah layak/usang tapi masih didominasi dengan fasilitas yang sudah berumur. Jika dapat diganti dengan fasilitas yang sederhana tapi dengan model yang mengikuti perkembangan terbaru akan membuat hotel ini lebih banyak lagi diminati.

Hotel staff okay. Location not bad but toilet is not clean & basin looks like doesn't clean long time ago.
