The location of the homestay is just perfect, right in front of the rice paddy fields.
Very quiet place
the bed didn't seem to be freshly washed
The place was located just in front of the principal entrance of the Jatiluwih's rice fields. The view is amazing and you can enjoy the sunrise
The place was old and dirty. The cleaning conditions were really bad. The sink was in the bed room and was sorrounded by ants. During the night we couldn't sleep because of dogs, cats fight. The staff was ok and avaliable at the moment that you'll need to rent. The bicycles are not avaliable. It was difficult to find a taxi for the next day and they found us a driver.
The cleanliness is good specially the bed sheets were smelling softener and also the mattress is really comfortable. The localization is great! In front of the rice field. Another facility is the restaurant where is beside the bedrooms. So if you are looking for having a restful, quiet and peaceful place, that's the right accommodation!
The Wi-Fi is poor but this is understandable because is a remote area and the bathrooms is very simple however, is clean.
+ Superb location in front of the rice fields and at the start of the walking trail + They cook good food both for breakfast and dinner and it's incredibly cheap + Slow Wifi but it's working steadily. + Comfortable bed + Helpful staff (rented bikes, gave advice on the walking trail beyond the "standard" route, etc)
- The bathroom was really basic and not super clean. Not unusual in the Bali Homestays, especially not in the most touristy areas - Right on the road, although traffic at night is almost non-existent.
The location is best possible, just on the top of Jatiluwih rice fields, although on the other side of the road. Staff is amazing, they don't speak english very well but try to make you as comfortable as they can.
No place to look to the fields from the hotel, bathrooms not so nice.
-Location, location, location -Staff was friendly -The breathtaking sunrise
-Many dogs barking at night -Room was a bit old -No balinese food -The trekking map was misleading (be careful not to get lost)
Scenery with very good footpaths and five mile circuits if you want.Sunrise behind Mt Agung if clear.Very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water.Very quiet at night except for a few dogs.Best option for dinner in the evening as most other places shut.
Hotel very close to the road which is very noisy from mid- morning until late afternoon but we stayed there quite happily for 5 nights.
the surroundings, the Rice fields
washing basin was not clean for a homestay we did not feel much of a welcome, not a personal touch
The view speaks for itself, the staff was nice, but not speaking English very well.
When we arrived , the room wasn't cleaned. We don't know if they even clean it or if they just spray it with perfume. To enter this small village tourists have to pay a toll.
Great location and friendly staff!
In the middle of the rice fields, this nice small hotel combines good value rooms with a tasty restaurant. You get a map of the surroundings on arrival, which gives you a good opportunity to walk or bike around the Unesco-heritage.
Very nice location and very good view outside. Room is clean.
Hard to get (only private car or taxi).
family home stay with lovely owners in a perfect surrounding! The homemade food is without a doubt the best food I had so far on a three month trip with complementary local fruits after every meal. The owner provided tips where to go provided map and motorbike. Very happy that we stayed there for two nights!
