The Amasya  

The staff were helpful.

Looks can be deceiving, these villas look like a tranquil setting to relax and unwind but it was far from that. On our first evening at The Amasya loud music from the roof top bar (from the property next door) continued into the early hours of the morning. My children were in tears and at 11.20pm I made a complaint to the staff at reception. The following day we transferred to another villa, this was inconvenient to move our belongings and although the noise from the roof top bar was less it was still present every night! Despite the complex having a restaurant I couldn’t order food when I wanted it. I tried ordering some food for my children at 4.00pm one evening and was advised to return at 6.00pm, I had to go else where to feed my children. Due to the operational hours of the restaurant/bar the tables and chairs that surrounded the main pool area in the complex remained under tarpaulins making it a very uninviting. Breakfast prepared in the villa each morning was poorly executed. By the time four different meals were prepared they were served cold, in fact I never had a hot cup of coffee. The wrong assumption was made we drank orange juice (lack of choice?) and that I had coffee white with sugar. On the last morning we cancelled breakfast (we couldn’t stand another), we took our children to the resort we stayed at last year and paid for breakfast there. It’s also worth mentioning that the DVD player in both villas’ didn’t work, the toilet in the first villa didn’t flush away the contents…list goes on. I also noticed luggage left by other guests was not stored securely after checkout. It was piled on the outside perimeter of the lobby for most of the afternoon. We travel a lot and to Bali almost every year, this property was a real let down, in fact I wouldn’t have been happy to have paid half of the cost of the accommodation.

Place: it's very close to nice restaurants and shops. Hotel clerk: Their support is very kind and warm. Room: It's confortable including pool. Food: Breakfast is delicious.

Wifi is available only in lobby.

1) When we came back at night, our main entrance door was open and bedroom door also unlock. The staff didn't close the door, just let it opened for whole day after the room service! Who will responsibility if any losses? 2) When we check in, the drinking water almost finished, don't know aldy keep for how long.. water taste was different. When we request for change. They just left the new water pail on the floor, we need to refill the 20 ltr pail by ourselves 3) When check out, they told me the hand towel was missing asked me to paid USD8.00, I didn't know what type of the towel they mention, there are so many useless towel inside the toilet and room. Who want to bring back the old hand towel from Bali to KL? During 3 days I gave more than 10 dollars USD tips to all the staff who served me in the villa, do you think I will took the old and dirty hand towel back to Kuala Lumpur?

Great location in Seminyak with good access to lots of things. Friendly and helpful staff - good size villa's.

Could have been a little cleaner and had cooling in the living area and bathroom. This would have reduced the mosquitos and insects and made it more comfortable to spend time in.

Love Love Loved the Amasya! The staff there are wonderful, very accommodating and the Villas are beautiful! My partner and I stayed in Villa 18 (1 bedroom) for 4 nights. If I had found this place earlier on when I started booking, we would have definately stayed longer! The villa was clean, luxurious and perfect for a couple! The pool got sunlight until around 5pm and the entertainment area was perfect for when our friends came over for pre-drinks & a swim! Loved having the pool just outside our bedroom door, the best way to wake up! We got home last week and we're about to book again for March next year, I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place. Cafe Bali is accross the road for cheap & amazing Mi-Goreng, Cafe Zucchini is up the road for a "a little bit of Bondi & Byron here in Bali" and for something a little more luxurious, Ku De Ta, Potato Head & Wah Wah burger are just around the corner and for sunset drinks on bean bags, La Plancha is a 10 minute stroll down the beach!

Very Private and very peaceful. An amazing time that really made us relaxed and rejuvinated. The staff were very helpful and comforting. In villa chef for breakfast daily was a lavish touch. Thankyou for an amazing time in Bali once again!

The Amasya was handy to Seminyak's restaurants and shops, but still tucked away for privacy and peace when we wanted it. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

I loved the friendly staff and the luxury of my single room villa. I dont have anything to complain about The Amasya. I will definitly stay there again and would recommend it to all my friends.

Great location and privacy.

The room we stayed in was very dated and in need of refurb. On the last day we were moved to another villa which was much nicer than the original one. Would definately stay again if I could be guaranteed the second room (room 15!). The layout was much better, beautiful gardens and seemed newer, cleaner.

After reading some of the negative reviews I started having doubts about our reservation here, luckily there was no reason what so ever to complain about anything at all. From the very first day to the last we were treated like royalty and no request was too much. I agree that the villas are not the most modern but they are absolutely clean and worth the price. I thought they were great! We made regular use of the free taxi service to the beaches and neighbouring cities. The location is absolutely perfect. I have already checked out a larger villa for a return trip next year with my sons and daughters in-laws. Thank you every one at the Amasya!

That damn cockeral that made a noise all night!

Service was FANTASTIC! All the staff would greet you every time they saw you, the same man came and cooked us breakfast every morning, and was ALWAYS on time. Our own private pool was nice and big, and cleaned daily. The staff always came and placed mosquito repellent in our alfresco every night and would open all our lights for us if we are not home. 10/10 would definitely go back!!!

Location: right in the city center, within walking distance to the beach, about 15 minutes. Villa has a private pool of medium size.

The entire hotel is very tired, renovation is much needed. On each single day during our stay, a group of tourist groups from Taiwan arrived with noise. Really not worth the money. Won't come back, definitely.

Бесспорно, плюс - это собственный бассейн. Хорошая мебель, уровень действительно Luxury. Персонал доброжелательный и всегда улыбается. Завтрак готовили прям на вилле. Рядом много ресторанов.

как показала практика проживания в другом отеле, бассейн на территории и больших размеров приятнее чем свой маленький на вилле. Некоторая мебель была сломана и прожженная сигаретой. Вай-фай только на территории!! На вилле нет!

es una villa que está bastante centrica y tienes bastantes restaurantes al lado

no me gustó que no puedes cenar ni comer en el restaurante, que al parecer solo ofrece servicio a la habitación entre las 23 y 7 horas y si haces un pedido superior a una cantidad considerable. El desayuno te lo sirven en la villa, es decir viene una persona del hotel y lo prepara in situ, perdiendo la intimidad de poder desayunar solo en tu habitación. Además no existe otra opción ya que solo sirven el desayuno en la habitación. En resumen, que pretende ser un cinco estrellas y yo como mucho le daría tres, no te ofrece servicios, bastante sucio y abandonado y el personal parece ser que no está muy interado en cuanto a las vida que se desarrolla en Seminyak

De private villa die we hadden geboekt was heel mooi, ruim, grote badkamer. Het was ook heel rustig in het resort. De locatie vonden we echt top. Als je het hotel uitloopt sta je in de hoofdstraat van Seminyak met allemaal lekkere restaurantjes. Je hoeft geen taxi's te nemen. We vonden het ook heel leuk dat het ontbijt s'ochtends in de villa werd klaargemaakt door het personeel.

De service van het hotel viel ons erg tegen. Zeker voor balinese begrippen was het niet echt goed. Bij aankomst werden we een beetje vreemd ontvangen door de receptiedame, we moesten meteen ons ontbijt voor de volgende dag uitkiezen. Ze kon ons helemaal geen suggesties geven voor goede restaurants. In de daaropvolgende dagen was er nooit iemand bij de receptie te bekennen we moesten altijd bellen. Er is één dag geweest waarop er een hele goede jongen werkte die het wel begrepen had. Het restaurant was echt een blamage. Normaal eten we altijd wel een keer in het restaurant van het hotel waar we verbleven maar dat hebben we nu niet gedaan. De hoezen bleven de hele dag en avond over het meubilair. Het personeel zat of lag of hing aan de bar tv te kijken. Heel vreemd!
