The Residence Seminyak  

The staff were friendly and helpful. The design was very nice - spacious and good amenities. The bathroom was impressive. The kitchen well fitted out. I used the pool alot and liked it very much. The Residence is close to the main shopping area but far enough away to be quiet. We were asked to nominate a time for breakfast, and the staff were always prompt and did a very good job to create a nice meal presented well too. The lighting choices were also varied so you could choose the atmosphere of the room. We made a few requests of the front office and they were always quick to respond. All in all very nice stay thanks!

The air conditioner in our room would not drop down to a quiet enough level which kept me awake on the first night. The air cond in the 2 nd brm was a newer / different model and was far quieter. The rooms were lockable but we had to request the keys, which were not keyed alike so we ended up with 4 keys. We would like to see some anti mosquito machines there... We ended up buying some from the local store... Which was cheap enough but still,,, would have been nice to have had them there.

This hotel has really thought about how they look after their guests. A cool drink on arrival, a golf cart to take you to your room and very friendly service is a good start to checking in to this hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the indoors flow seamlessly to the outdoors. We had 2 people come to our room and cook breakfast each day ensuring it was hot, fresh and as you like it. The hotel is well located near the busy part of Seminyak but extremely quiet as soon as you walk through the front gate. The upgrade to a 3 bedroom suite was a nice touch.

The villa was beautiful. Breakfast made each day in our villa was a plus. Very kid friendly but still quiet and secluded. Would be an ideal stay for romantic weekend or family vacation.

It was initially difficult to find without using a driver from the hotel.

We had a great time staying at The Residence this is our fifth visit to Bali and the location was excellent. The Villa was very comfortable the only fault I have there is only one TV and the couch was small and uncomfortable for a 3 bedroom villa TV in the bedrooms would have been handy. .

отличное соотношение цена-качество. персонал быстро реагирует на любые просьбы( от спа на своей вилле, до ежевечерней обработки от москитов). ездили загорать на пляж ресторана KuDeTa. там бесплатные большие лежаки- кровати с тентами, диджей, бар и очень приличный ресторан( только в баре не стоит заказывать алкогольные коктейли - делать их они не умеют, а вот чистые напитки- шампанское, вино, пиво,виски и проч. все отличное). ужинать можно недалеко от виллы в итальянском ресторане Ultimo. кухня супер, цены очень низкие, быстрое обслуживание и вечерами поет итальянец. до итальянского ресторана 5 минут пешком, в KuDeTa ездили на такси. вызывали на рецепции- стоит 8 000 рупий. обратно садились в проезжающие таки и заставляли включать счетчик. иначе таксисты загибают цены. деньги менять только в банке!!! все остальные конторы занимаются кидаловом!

Everything from facilities to ambience to services allowed us to relax and unwind!

The Villa was very well decorated and the standard of maintenance good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a two bedroom villa but were allocated a three bedroom with one bedroom locked. The extra living space was very welcome. The villa was well equipped and well located for access to the main restaurant street and not too far from the beach.

Not many negative points; the main ones being it would have been better if the floors were mopped and cleaned properly before we arrived and at least once during our stay. As it was, it was only swept for dust so was quite dirty in bare feet. The lighting at nighttime was very low and there was no lighting in the living or dining areas that would have made it possible to read, or see things clearly.
