The Samaya Ubud    

The Samaya has a great environment, and the sevice is very considerate, you can enjoy the beautiful and peaceful environment. The time is flying in Samaya.

Their staff and service is unexpected nice. More than 5 star hotel. And the environment is excellent.

We stayed 3 nights here and it was perfect. The staff are very helpful and the service is terrific! I think Samaya has the best service level! The hill-side villa is perfect - spacious, comfortable and with excellent sun-lighting. The pool and the pavilion beside is adorable as well. You should not miss a couple spa in #5 room with big bath tub and beautiful Ayung River view, we love it! We'd love to stay at Samaya Ubud again for our next trip in Bali.

Food diversity not enough. But the Swept Away Restaurant really has a fantastic Ayung River view!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Privacy in your own pool and garden. Very up to date room but with charm. Supplying every need from shaving equipment to fridge, Tv, DVD player, iPod dock, fresh fruit each day and sarongs. Excellent service. Complimentary water and afternoon tea. Excellent food and beautiful views. Constant attention to detail and nothing too much trouble. Very good spa.

Little noisey with constant cockerel crowing but not a major issue. The hillside and river villas may be quieter. Journey into Ubud or other restaurants but we didn't really mind that.

I will start with the service of the staff from the General Manager to my personal butler. absolutely 100%. They are so friendly and assist you at every turn. Next the food at the Swept away restaurant by the river is excellent. The chef is denfinitely a Michelin 1 star at least. Creative and so tasty. The staff are very attentive. My villa and room was very comfortable. I wish their was an armchair apart from the sofa. The bathroom looks so new and fresh, and it is big and comfortable.

the food at the breakfast restaurant can be improved upon. A couple of times i had to open my car door although their were hotel attendants at the front. I do not mind opening my own door, but at a resort hotel the staff should do it as part of the service....especially when I have a camera and a bag and a guide book in my hands.

The service was outstanding. Our riverside villa was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, a true oasis and retreat from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! The breakfasts were delicious, and the fact that they're included in the room price was nice.

We loved it, no complaints.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Every staff member was warm and friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. The dining experiences we had at the Swept Away restaurant were the most memorable we've ever had-- the setting was romantic, the food was amazing, and the service was very attentive and personal. The entire experience (we stayed five nights) we had at the Samaya Ubud was one of relaxed elegance and warm, intimate, attentive service. Anything we needed was promptly provided, from drivers to repairing a travel pillow, to rides around the property, to guidance about sightseeing.

There is nothing to want for when staying at the Samaya Ubud. The villa is well appointed and extremely comfortable, and the staff are friendly, professional and prompt in responding to your needs. The spa is luxurious, and again the staff are friendly and professional. The food was divine - from the breakfast and afternoon tea provided through to dining at Swept Away - the thought and care that has gone into the menu and food choices is evident, although servings at Swept Away are very large! The setting is perfect for a weekend escape or a romantic getaway where you can have have total privacy if that is what you desire. A fantastic experience overall!

I have only one criticism for the Samaya Ubud, and that is that the cocktails at Swept Away are not of a good quality. Whilst the Samaya Ubud go to the trouble of justifying the expensive drinks list there is no effort to make a decent cocktail to take some of the sting out of the cost..

We were celebrating our 39th anniverary. The staff at this hotel was superb. They thought of every need of the guests and all knew our names after the first day we arrived. We had afternoon tea brought to our private villa pool. Everything was perfect. They will even take you to the airport one way which is an hour long trek. This is probably the most romantic facility we have ever stayed in.

The facility and staff were so nice we hated to leave the hotel to go touring!

We loved this resort from the moment our driver Picked us up to the time we checked out The Samaya Ubud has it all , great staff starting with the manager Wayan and his personal touch which shows over the complete resort , spa is sensational , food is unbelievable ! Keep it up guys !

The staff is wonderful and extremely kind. You have an excellent service all the time and you do not notice their subtle presence. The breathtaking views while having breakfast. The sound of the river, the plants and the absolute calm create a perfect climate for relax.

The service were great and the staff are thoughtful.

Such perfection with their care and service, they were extremely attentive, offered activities, a magnificent food selection, free afternoon tea which was spectacular. There was a shuttle service to ubud town which was also great.

Friendly and personal service from all staff. Stunning view of rice paddies across the valley. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely spa. Perfect place for a special holiday or honeymoon. Reasonably far out from Ubud centre (20 min drive), but free shuttle service, if you can drag yourself away from your villa.

Lovely location with amazing staff/service. Very comfortable room/villa with everything a couple needs. Accommodating staff always there when you need them and with great local info on hand.

We stayed five nights here and it was perfect. The staff are very attentive and work very hard to give your stay a personal touch. The villas are wonderful - spacious, comfortable and well equipped without being over the top. The pools are a real treat. The spa, gym facilities and pool are in glorious setting and the treatments are just sublime. The Samaya is wonderfully still and peaceful and this made it the perfect place to wind down and relax. There is a very efficient, flexible and complimentary car service in to Ubud which allows you to explore the town and it's many restaurants (we would recommend Sari Organic for lunch and Melting Pot Warung for dinner - need to book for both). The breakfasts at The Samaya were good, and the Swept Away restaurant was very memorable. A high light for us was having the complimentary tea served in our villa - we had it while sitting in our cabana. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel but stay as long as you can, and book early. It is real gem.

We had the best time at the Samaya, we actually extended our stay for two more nights. The staff were extremely friendly, they did everything they can just to make you feel relaxed. The shuttle service was excellent, it provided transportation to the market and back to the hotel. The view is amazing, overlooking the rice fields & the Ayung river. The rooms are fantastic, amazing pool and sitting area. The breakfast was lovely, you can have it at anytime and in your villa or at the restaurant. We had a nice surprise for our anniversary, this really shows how the staff care for the guests. I defenetly would recommend the Samaya and would come back again.

They did not mention at the time of booking that a particularly restrictive festival was on during our stay which meant we were more or less restricted to our room which whilst not their fault (the date of the festival) they could have warned us and we would have changed the duration of our stay.

昨年に続き2回目の宿泊でした。皆様覚えてくれていて、お部屋にはWelcome Cakeが届いてました。お部屋も快適で、朝食も素晴らしく、最後には昨年のお部屋と今年はどちらが好みか- 聞いてくれて、次回からの予約に反映してくれるそうです。またすぐにでも帰りたくなる場所です。

Hôtel absolument fabuleux, les villas sont juste magnifiques avec la piscine pricée et le gazebo. Personnel très souriant et serviable, notamment les butler au service des clients 24h/24h. L'hôtel n'est pas à Ubud, l'hôtel met à disposition un shuttle nuit et jour ! Balades directement à la sortie de l'hôtel dans le village de Sayan et les rizières ! Petit déjeuner extraordinaire que l'on peut prendre jusqu'à 14h !! Pas de réveil ! Et afternoon tea très très bon !

Le prix de la nuit étant déjà très élevé, c'est dommage de mettre les prix du mini bar et du restaurant aussi élevés ! Presuqe 3 fois les prix que l'on peut trouver à Ubud, à quoi il faut rajouter 21% de taxes ! L'hôtel pourrait ajuster ses prix.

レストランでの食事がとても美味しく、大変満足しました。 トレッキングに参加しましたが、なかなか味わえない経験をしました。 日本人スタッフの対応がよかったです。

アフタヌーンティの場所が分からず残念でした。

7月28日から3泊しました。日本人スタッフのエミさんが笑顔でお出迎えして下さいました。他のスタッフの- 方も笑顔で、どこで会っても気軽に声をかけてくれて、お散歩していてもバギーが必要ならすぐ戻ってくるよと- 、優しい対応でした。施設内にレストランはどちらもすごく美味しかったです。朝食はバイキングではなくメニ- ューにあるものをオーダーするのですが、どれも美味しかったです。素晴らしい景色を眺めながらの朝食は最高- でした。また次回もここに泊まりたいと感じさせてくれる素晴らしいホテルです。

特に無し。ウブドの街まで出るのにちょっと時間がかかるくらいです。

Tout est parfait au Samaya Ubud. Hotel de grand luxe et de grande classe. Personnel aux petits soins pour les clients. Nous avons séjourné dans une villa avec piscine privée. Villa très spacieuse, salle de bain immense avec jacuzzi privé (et même une télé dans la salle de bain !) Equipement de la chambre avec tout le nécessaire de toilette et même plus. La chambre est refaite à chaque fois que l'on en sort. Spa excellent, avec des soins de très bonne qualité et des masseuses d'une rare gentillesse. Salle de sport très bien équipée. Très bon restaurant, très rafiné, et de même pour le room service, disponible 24h sur 24. Cadre superbe, avec vue sur les rizières et sur une rivière. Pour bénéficier de ce cadre l'hotel est un peu excentré du centre d'Ubud mais le Samaya a un service de navette en voiture privée, à tout moment, entre l'hotel et le centre d'Ubud, très appréciable. Propositions d'excursions pour le séjour à Ubud, en partenariat avec une compagnie locale. Séjour fantastique, le plus bel hôtel que nous ayons fait jusqu'à présent.

absolument tout! un petit bout de paradis ou l'on se sent non pas client mais invité! service d'une courtoisie exceptionnelle gastronomie qui dans notre France mériterait facilement une étoile minimum. un parc manucuré!
