The villas at The Wolas are very well appointed, with generous spaces and good amenities. The robes are very comfortable, the pool super clean and with two big TVs on the villa there's no fighting about what programme to watch. Staff are very friendly and helpful, making your stay even more enjoyable. Décor is nice and simple, if you do not fancy rooms that feel stuffy with mosquito nets or lots of carvings. We didn't cook anything other than toasts but the fridge is big enough to stock up on fruit, etc if you plan to stay over a week. There is a Bali Deli at walking distance. Overall this hotel is a very good choice for the price and location: taxis from the villas to say, Metis restaurant, will be under 20,000 rupiah (SGD 3) The hotel lacked details like a vanity mirror, iPod docking station and a rainshower which are common in other hotels. The finishings are good but the lack of rubber protectors at the base of the sliding doors didn't stop the rain water getting into the room almost every day, so we needed to place towels there. Not that the room will flood or anything like that, but the floor around the sliding doors will get wet. Everything else was good! - Please be aware like with all open spaces there are mosquitoes and ants. Nothing major, but this is a villa with gardens in a tropical setting. The same will happen anywhere else in Bali, so bring repellent.

The villa was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The private pool was AMAZING and a generous size! Food was excellent as well and we had a wonderful massage in the spa too. So nice to be able to cook your own meals if you want to and the restaurant was very willing to lend us a pan :-) Location was a little bit out of the way but there is a free shuttle two times a day and a taxi ride into Semanyak is only a £3 or so.

The private pool was wonderful. The food and pool side private BBQ was delicious. I also enjoyed the tea time spa treatments (the spa was slightly over priced during regular hours). Also the bed was very comfortable. I didn't like the Mosquitos. It may have been the time of year or the lack of spraying but they were terrible in the morning and evenings. Most nights we had to lock ourselves in and spray the villa with bug spray. Also the kitchen needed more dishes and things like dish towels. And finally the lack of privacy in the toilet. It is in a separate room in the bathroom but the glass isn't frosted all the way so you can see the person inside from the bathroom and the outside shower.

The villas were relaxing and private, but it is not near the beach and the Seminyak square where all the nice restaurants and shops are there, taxi would drop you in almost 5 minutes. They have only one restaurant and it is close to the reciption, the lock of the main door of the villa is not realialable (Old fashion lock)

Good location. Good facilities. Luxury villas. The water boiler was very weak. Too many insects because of the weather, you need more sufficient methods to fight the insects.

The villas were relaxing and private. The location was quiet good still walking distance to shops and restaurants although nothing around the villas itself. We made a mistake with our booking so stayed another night and they were very good and it was no problem. The only negative thing about the villa was we expected more for our money. When you are paying between $275 - $285 per night you expect the wow factor although the villa was nice, clean and relaxing and we had no complaints.

The private pool was amazing! The kids really loved it! No heating facility though. Hotel staff did not know that our 2-Bedroom villa includes 4 Breakfasts and wanted to charge us when we asked for the 4th Breakfast. Since we are paying a premium rate for 4 nights' stay, we should be given a better variety of Breakfast selection. We didn't enjoy our 3rd breakfast onwards. Ironing board given to us was broken in 2 so we ended up just using the iron.

The villas are very nicely designed and provide maximum privacy. The cleanness of the room and he pool is very good. The room is very specious and the bath room is fantastic. There is wide range of tv channels and the mini kitchen is very handy. The breakfast service is very disappointing in term of quality. They take long time to deliver, the food is not fresh and they mess up your order.

These villas are excellent for those who come for relaxation and comfort. You can lead a very separate life and will not be bothered by anyone. The room service allows you not to go anywhere which was a plus for us. It was the first time in our life that for 8 days that we spent there we went out just once because it was a pure pleasure to enjoy the swimming pool and freshly squeezed drinks. No need to say that everything (incl. The room service and spa) was a very good value for money compare to European cities. We want to come again and we never come to the same places. Nothing really. The mosquitoes did not bother us because the personal took an action (there are regular fogging, spraying outside and electrical repellents available in bedrooms). Perfect.

The cleanliness of the room, and the size!! Although the greenery is nice.. It attracts lots of mosquitos etc especially at night!!.. And sadly I was a mosquito magnet and was bitten allll over my body!! My face was swollen, ears, arms, back, chest..!! The location is also a major negative point.. It was unbelievably difficult to find.. Not many people in the are know the hotel, and its down a quiet street.

The staff were great and extremely friendly. Had the best time here. Rooms were lovely and extremely big for 2 people! Very clean and very happy to assist with anything here. Absolutely loved our stay! American breakfast not so good - but indonesian much better. Not close to all the shops/ restaurants etc but only $2 cab ride in - good to be away from all the chaos though

Nothing fabulous to relate, hotel was nice, food at the restaurant was mediocre. The mosquitoes in the room, despite repellents, sprays and keeping doors closed kept me awake for the 2 nights I was there, very uncomfortable and annoying ...

The private pool is really nice and private. No pots and not enough utencils in Kitchen. Cannot cook even with stove. Lots of Mosquitos at night even with repellent. Hot water capcity in tank is only 18L and not enough for Bathtub which has capacity of 200L. Thus not able to have a nice hot bath which is primary for villa to have.

This is a great place that's not too far from it all and far enough to be relaxing. The photos are very accurate and the staff very helpful Perhaps the menu could have been a little more adventurous, but what they do, they do nicely.

A well designed villa which was nice, clean and comfortable. Private pool was good and the 2 TVs came in handy when you have kids clamouring for the remotes...Staff were friendly and efficient. Massage prices and room rates were value for money. Short trip from the airport made it very convenient. Highly recommended! The restaurant menu could have been more comprehensive in choices of food.. But no major complaints about it.
