Peaceful garden atmosphere
location and ambiance
mossies in the room and shower didnt work propably
Friendly, and accommodating staff quiet, peaceful location. I was supposed to stay at Garden View Hotel, which was very noisy, incompatible with sleep. I'm lucky that 3 brothers had some rooms free. It's worth paying a little bit extra money to have peace of mind that you have quality, cleanliness, and friendly staff
location was great love the gardens and was quiet even though we were close to every thing.
The pool chairs need fixing and wasn't enough. for the amount of people who stay there. The first room we stayed in was tired even though it was a Superior room. Bathroom had been renovated but we had no hot water. Bedding was tired and should be replaced.
We really liked the Three Brothers, it is much more traditional that most hotels in Bali, and as Bali is becoming more Westernised it is nice to stay in a place that is trying to keep within the Balinese culture.
Great location set in beautiful grounds. We loved our stay and over breakfast met other travellers who stay often.
The gardens are lovely.
The mosquitos, unable to lock the doors sufficiently, felt vulnerable.
The Grounds and the location. The bungalows style.
Breakfast is nothing special. Service is low for Bali standards. Too many families.
The spacious grounds, traditional Bali style bungalows, beautiful old trees and the sound of geckos at night.
The breakfast was OK but not fantastic
Our final room was lovely after we complained on our first room. We asked for no stairs and we had 3 flights. We finally were given a studio suite which was fantastic for 3 adults, but their customer liason was atrocious.
The staffs attitude at the office was disgusting. No hairdryer, no bathmats or flannels, no water, breakfast basic. Then on payment they tried to scam us more money. Disgusting Never stay there again, purely on customer service.
Great sleep. Love the outdoor bathroom and old styled features. My third stay and will be back again :-)
The pool was a good size ,and nice gardens
Staff werent helpful at all ,didnt help take bags to and from room , rooms were all mouldy and mosquito ridden , no water in your room , only have about 12 pool lounges , Breakfast was horrible .Overall this hotel is not worth the money should be only $40 a night not $80 Couldnt wait to leave !!
It was in walking distance to everything I needed.
The breakfast was the same every day no variation.
The gardens are beautiful and the villa we eventually moved to was beautiful. Location is great handy to Padma street and Legian street. Only a few minutes walk to the beach.
First night our room was okay but there was no hot water and the bedding was very old. My room was a superior deluxe but had no fridge the rooms also have no kettle and no tea or coffee. pool was beautiful but only a couple of chairs and most were broken.
Loved the pool and lush surroundings. Very traditional Balinese.
Rooms are large but very tired, broken tiles etc. Could hear people in room below so clearly. Felt like we were sharing the room!
pool, gardens, location, cost
building noise from across the road. hot water not reliable
The authenticity of three brothers and the location is excellent
Breakfast were fine, just the timings were a bit hit and miss
I loved the location and garden setting, huge rooms and friendly staff
A bit noisy as our bungalow was on the second storey and on the main road but wire ear plugs to bed
I chose Three Brothers because it was Balinese style and i prefer stay local than in big western properties. On arrival they put me in an older very basic room which walls were made out of big mat like roller blinds. It was an older outdoor bathroom as well, so I went and asked as the room I thought I had booked looked different so they moved me and I was very content. Very clean, big poster bed with net and lovely outdoor rain shower and bathroom with my very own frangipani tree and pet gecko! Very authentic with lots dark wood and carvings and some areas partially open but loved it. Don't expect luxury. It's quite big grounds but lovely and lush and relaxing. Please note there is two entrances to the property reception at one end and the restaurant at the other end. The pool area is nice enough quite small but fine to relax after a day walking in the heat! Great central location couple ins walk to beach and main shopping. Staff are nice enough but don't go out of their way but I loved that they were all local people. I will definitely stay here again. Oasis in the middle of a crazy paced area of Bali.
WIFI hopeless you can only get it sitting in the restaurant and nowhere else on the property. Breakfast very basic, I only ate the fruit.
spacy rooms with great outside shower and bath, peaceful surroundings with lost of plants, but still close to other points of interest
wifi available only near reception
after complaining about the bed after the first night we were moved immediately to another room, that was good. nice gardens although it's looking all a bit run down.
very slow service at the restaurant poor food at the restaurant was sent the wrong breakfast and never got a new one! about 10 deckchairs around the pool of which half were broken and the other half were SO uncomfortable!! (and always taken by other people). C'mon!!! I believe this hotel is relying on it's reputation from many years ago when it probably did represent good value for money, but now I don't think it is at all. we stayed in other places that were a lot cheaper that were a lot better!!!! rats in the garden areas - don't leave your doors open!! I wont be going again nor could I ever recommend it.
The gardens are amazing and tranquil. Very relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast is quite small.
I've stayed at three brothers for a few times. The locality is great. The balinese garden style concept was what attract me to this hotel time and time again. The staffs are very nice and friendly people. The hotel compound is so spacious that you can't hardly hear the hustle and bustle going on outside the hotel. The pool is great. Loved lounging around it. The room is so spacious that you can add another double bed in and so is the bathroom/shower with it's open concept. The bed is so comfortable too. Breakfast is simple but you can order additional. Would definitely come back.
Three Brothers Bungalow is about 35 years old as to what the staffs told me. With that said, some of the furnishing are deteriorating of course with time. Our first night was not so pleasant, the wooden ceiling was covered with plastic sheets to avoid wood debris from falling but it still did on the bed and on the floor. So we asked for a room change the next day and the staffs was very helpful. We moved to a better room. The hotel is in the process of refurbishing the rooms stages by stages which is a very welcoming. Nothing much to dislike.
