Just the location
1) mosquitoes 2) worn out/old. Need to refurbished 3) water pressure very low 4) sink blocked 5) should have water tap outside and/or in the toilet to wash dirty feet 6) should provide coffee/tea or at least a kettle and cups 7) beds are wobbly 8) towels were not soft
friendly staff, very good location, great if you like a decent party!
room wasn't cleaned while we were there
The location of this hotel is great (beach front property) and close to the public harbor.
The building that I stayed on was the old one, so the room was a bit dated but still clean enough.
Position is great, staff lovely, good breakfast
$75 for a very average old style room, no refrigerator or TV. Overpriced for Asia
The man who worked at the desk (I guess he's the manager) knew everyone's name! Was in the best spot, definitely a party pub but you couldn't here anything from the rooms!
No big deal but wifi was very bad, our phones didn't work and we were trying to meet friends, but everywhere has wifi so doesn't really matter! Bed was pretty uncomfy though.
Good hotel- no need for anywhere with a pool though as beaches so lovely. Staff nice- it's in a great location.
Stayed two nights- room not cleaned/tidied. Wifi didn't work
Very good breakfast made all the more enjoyable by a staff member called Rizal he is a gem. Rizal goes above his call of duty to welcome you an make sure all guests are okay. Rizal arrange a great private boat trip for us well worth the money had a great day we would like our best wishes past on to Rizal. Room staff were all really nice and nothing was to much to help or sort a problem. Food is very good, swimming pools good to. Good atmosphere for all ages.
Would have been nice to meet and greet with Mangers at sometime during stay found this strange as we have travelled to many places and at some point a Manager came to welcome an greet guests especially in small hotels?? But all in all had a great time and will recommend to friends an book again in the future.
Great location right in the thick of of the restaurants and bars but you don't hear any noise. The rooms are a good size and comfy beds. The staff in the restaurant were great.. reception staff Ok... manager is lovely..The food in the restaurant is great and the party night on the Wednesday night is fun and like I said you don't hear any noise
Have to ask to have room cleaned and when we did they didn't change the sheets
I liked the look of the structure of the hotel, with the patio in front of every room. The stuff was nice and friendly.
The only negative aspect if the hotel for us was that it was pretty noisy with parties and music going on for most of the night. A part from that, the island was a bit disappointing, for lacking a proper beach or an easy access for swimming.
No cars, resturants right by the waters edge. The staff were friendly and helpful. A good value snorkelling trip although it's a shame there's so little coral.
Getting there and back was a mission, Bali Brio boats were hot and full and it's about 3+ hours,we got bumped onto a different boat on the way back and got off at a different location than we were expecting. No free tea or coffee in the rooms, only at breakfast. It seems to be a party island, Sunday the music and the fireworks seemed to go all night.
Location and room were good
Wifi didn't work at all Shower was sometimes cold
We stayed in a deluxe room and it was very comfortable, having our own front garden area and semi-outdoor bathroom (which is as cool as the pictures). It's set back from the road so there's a good level of privacy and we didn't have any problems with noise (either from the bars or other guests). As much as we enjoyed the simplicity of Gili T, it's still nice to have a good working air-con, cable TV etc. The shower uses solar-heated water so isn't boiling hot, nor does it need to be when you're staying in the tropics! Breakfast options are nice, bacon & eggs on toast, muesli fruit & yoghurt, french toast etc. I also recommend having a meal at the night market near the jetty, where we had the best meals of our stay. We hired bikes from Tir Na Nog and rode around most of the island (gets a bit sandy and hard-going up on the North-West coast). The staff booked us for a snorkeling trip, which was well-priced compared to some of the dive companies. Loved seeing the turtles off Gili Meno! It's an easy walk from the jetty (even with luggage) and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.
Wifi wasn't the best.
Location, Size of rooms/bungalows is good, clean linen on beds & nice pergolas/balconies if you wanted to sit outside. Breakfast spot right overlooking beach, menu ok too, pure orange juice and unlimited tea/coffee. Cheap cocktails & good cheap bbq/dinner menu every night. Staff were attentive when you had requests or needed something fixed.
No hot water for the majority of time and poor wifi in room ie. Facebook didn't load, emailing difficult. I'd say stay here if you're used to very basic facilities. The pool was positioned next to the rubbish dumpster and the smell was terrible from the sun lounges. The walls in bathroom had mould/moisture damage behind door & whole bathroom requires bleaching/scrubbing, and i'm not really that fussy! We still had a great time while staying here as you're generally out at the beautiful beaches every day. You can utilise other hotel pools for a minimum spend per day ie. 10AUD which we did one day.
The hotel was well located at the main "street" with restaurants, little shops and bars. Also just a short walk from the really nice night market. The island is really nice, the water is super clear and blue. It is perfect to snorkel or dive. But it's a bit hard to swim because of a lot of corals so that it's hard to walk in. We would therefore highly recommend to book a snorkeling trip (about $12) where they will take you out on a boat and you can see the amazing colorful corals as well as fish and turtles.
The room was okay, really sterile. The bed was really creaky and the air-conditioning was not really strong. The breakfast was really small and you have to choose between 4 options. One day I had a croissant and there was mould on it. I complained about it and I got another one but no one really apologized. I would expect more for the prize of the hotel.
It is a beautiful room and one of the view places with a warm shower on Gili T. In the evening they have a nice restaurant and bar and it is very centrally located.
The wifi was not the best, but this is on the whole island and you should not come here if you are not used to noises in the night from the bar (the mosque is ten times louder than the bar and this you hear all over the island, so bare that in mind!)
Awful food smell, all day long. Poor room cleaning service. Slow wifi
Great location Friendly staff Nice atmosphere
Wifi is rather slow which was a bit of a problem when we wanted to book flights and accommodation.
The comfy bed with extra pillows (total 4 pillows). Helpful and friendly staffs.
The door room is very hard to open (room 7). There is no water bidet in the toilet. Limited breakfast choice.
Almost everything was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly, location was really close to the beach, night market and the bar was one of the busiest on the island. Even though the bar can get quite loud at night we still slept very well. However we were there during Ramadan so could be louder at other times. Outside shower was amazing! Make sure to leave in keys at reception in the morning so that room is cleaned.
The only bad thing about our stay was the fact that breakfast finished at 10:30. Also the fry option was quite small. However, on our last few days we requested extra bacon which we did receive.
Great location and staff were great!
Pool was empty when we arrived, no one informed usof this prior to arrival.
Breakfast was tasty and filling, real bacon woo. Room was spacious and aircon worked perfectly. Outdoor bathroom added a really cool touch and the private front courtyard was awesome too. Really was value for money
No hot water, even in the heat I have hot showers so I struggled with this. Also the slow internet meant no Facebook which was my only contact with family
Atmosphere Location Staff
Pool not private , no hot water,
Lovely place to stay
Wifi on room should be good
The deluxe room was lovely, exactly how it looks in the photos. Breakfast was good.
The accommodation is actually at the pub, so we didn't feel comfortable using the pool and it got pretty loud at night - music goes till early hours of the morning. And wifi did not work during our stay, not sure if this was temporary or not, but nearly every bar or restaurant on the island had decent wifi.
