The breakfast was delicious. The view was stunning. the staffs were friendly and helpful.
Food, staff, garden, pool.
Wifi was a bit dodgy at times.
The location of the resort is merely 5 minutes from the jetty if your are bringing your transport to the island. If not, you can just drop off at the pier of Toba Village Inn itself. I stayed in a superior room on level 2, while my parents stayed in deluxe, facing lake, ground floor. The difference is the size of the room where obviously deluxe is slightly larger, with mini refrigerator, a safe box, and the interior of the bathroom. Both bathrooms had 2 shower heads (??), and very spacious. Though we didn't need to use the mosquito nets on the bed, it added the traditional vibe which was great. With only fans in the room, it was a cool night during my stay. Above all else, the morning view from my room was breathtaking!! Absolute serenity. I'm sure coming again. A night stay is just not enough.
The electricity went out in the morning, our room on the 2nd floor was bearable but rooms on ground floor got stuffy. My room was near the breakfast area and I was awaken by voices of people chatting quite early in the morning.
Wifi coneection poor
This is amazing place right on the shore of the Lake Toba! Rooms are simple, but super comfy. The whole hotel area is so beautiful. It is like a garden with many trees and flowers. Hotel has access to the lake with beach loungers, swimming pool and several arbors where you can read or have your dinner. Also, they serve home made Belgium bread for breakfast which is really tasty.
Its rooms, pool and bread....
Price a little bit high compare with others
Hotel terbersih di danau toba.
Nasi goreng kurang enak
I like most of them. My family really enjoy their vacation during stay in Toba Village Inn. The breakfast, bedrooms and swimming pool are excellent. We will come back again.
No comment, We like most of them.
Excellent staff and decent rooms.
Lack of hot water for bathing. No air conditioning A bit too quiet, lack of shops and amenities nearby.
the view is very nice ! Very quiet and peaceful.
the bathroom! Is clean but the water coming very slow from the shower
The Inn is located a little futher than the rest of the other lodgings. So it is quite peaceful (after passing thru the town of Parapat and Medan city, it is a welcoming sight). We opted for rooms with the mountain view, it is very grandois and soothing to be spending your time at the terrace and absorbing the beutiful scenery. Next door, there is a cornfield, so we get to hear lots of birds chirping, specially in the morning. Not forgetting, for breakfast, we had a basketful choices of freshly homemade breads with eggs. The whole family enjoyed it so much.
The bed is rather high. We practically have to climb up to the bed. Everything else is perfect.
The ferry from Parapat just drops you/picks you up at the private pier of Toba Village Inn: I have never experienced this before and I must say...it feels like being a king. The property is very well maintained and there are flowers all over the place. The rooms are clean, large and very confortable: an ideal place to recover from our trekking in Bukit Lawang and to discover the island. Waking up and viewing the lake from the balkony...that's real holidays to me. The owners and their staff make you feel at home right away, easy going and always helping or advising to make your stay at Samosir unforgettable. You can swim in the nice pool or jump into the Toba-lake from the pier. The food is just delicious...the breakfast with homemade bread is simple but very good: all you need is on the table or can be asked for. We ordered the "lobster-from-the-lake-menu" and the preparation was really nice. Another good thing: there is always cold Bintang ...I will come back here, for sure.
very helpful service: hotel staff helped me to rent a bicycle and to recharge my phone card;
no air condition problems to dry wet clothing
Wonderful position, very friendly staff
Many cocks and crowing on the morning
We had an amazing room with the view on the lake. The staff was super helpful and unbelievably welcoming. We stayed for 2 days and we felt like it was one of the best hotels we had during our vacation in Indonesia. Facilities are good and the bed is super comfortable. Good food, good juices, nice home made bread that the owner makes every day. They picked us up from the ferry on the day we arrived to Tuk-tuk which we appreciated a lot since it was raining and we arrived at 10 on the last car ferry. They also helped us to rent a moto and arrange our trip back to the Medan airport. We definitely recommend this place for stay!
There was a small thing with a shower that it was leaking but you still cab take shower without any problems.
Location, welcome when you arrive by boat, fresh bread, helpfull staff. Nice and clean.
Bit pricy. Woke up because of the chicken farm every morning at 4:30.
The scenic of lake toba
Nice and hospitable Owners. The staffs are quite friendly. The room is romantically designed, especially the bed is equipped with firmed mattress and wrapped with nice mosquito net.
We stayed for 2 nights, but housekeeping never stopped by to clean the room. : ( We stopped by the restaurant asking for beverages to be delivered to the room, unfortunately the order was never delivered. : (
There is a very beautiful and quiet hotel. Nice view of lake.
The environment is cozy. The simple breakfast is tasty and spicy.
Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Very clean hotel and well maintained. Comfortable room, although a bit small, with balcony and nice view on the garden and the lake.
It was empty when we stayed nut told that it would be busy in a few days time. For us the tranquility and waving for the ferry was a highlight. Food was good and plenty of other places to eat. The birdlife was wonderful and inspiring. The community in Tuktuk were special - hardworking and helpful in so many ways
The journey from Medan to Parapat was manic but once the lake was in sight everything changed. We are concerned that in two years the tranquilty will disappear and already there are signs of this with speed boats appearing- such a pity as this could be an eco-resort - it needs a bit more imagination from the powers-that-be
No breakfast for kids coz normally family had kids....and in jakarta...breakfast for 2 adult and 2 kids bt in this hotel only for adult means family with kids no breakfast and taste of food also not yummy sorry
very nice room and clean
