Nice dekorated and furnished hotel. Staff is generally polite and eager to help -especially after some soft complain.

The hotel of this category should have a travel desk or at least people trained to help organizing transportation and tours. In our case the hotel did not entertain the request to arrange a pick up from the main train station in Surabaya - instead the advise was given to take the next train (4 hrs waiting till the next train). The tour the hotel arranged for us to the Bromo area was charactariced by long waiting periods and a very old mini bus which could hardly climb up to the mountain - I have not seen any car in a comparable weak condition than ours during this tour. Since the tour requires depature at 1 am in the morning and goes along steep mountain roads I had my reason to book for the whole family such a tour via a top hotel and was also prepared to pay the higher price. But what I got was a below average car and an extra long waiting period for the jeep in the morning and an inflated price without value behind. Besides this the tour was great thanks to Mt Bromo and the great weather and our luck that nothing happened with the car.

The staff is excellent, the food is just great! It's a huge museum with never ending spaces, with a lot of beautiful art and a great spa. Nice bathrooms en crispy linen.

El hotel es como un museo de antiguedades, tiene piezas interesantes por todas partes incluso en las habitaciones. La estancia fue relajada y tranquila.

Malang en general no tiene gran interés más que un punto de aproximación al Monte Bromo.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir sind sehr früh im Hotel angekommen und das Personal setzte alles daran dass das das erste verfügbare Zimmer sofort für uns bereit gemacht wurde. In der Zwischenzeit wurden wir mit Erfrischungen versorgt. Als meine Frau wegen einer starken Erkältung und Fieber im Bett bleiben musste, haben die Mitarbeiter sich toll um uns gekümmert. die museumsführung im Hotel war dann noch das itüpfelchen. Perfekt.

Excelente. El hotel es casi un museo con las piezas de arte y antiguedades que tiene, cada rincon tiene algo esoecial e increible. La comida muy buena y el personal esta en todos los detalles.

El desayuno figura como no incluido, comimos a la carta el primer dia, pero habia un buffet muy completo por lo que no era necesrio en realidad pedir aparte. Es una pena que no nos lo hayan avisado el primer dia.

Wat zijn ze hier klantvriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een heerlijk hotel (koloniale inrichting) waar je een heerlijke massage kunt nemen. Prachtige kamers en een heerlijk zwembad. Het eten is goed en de bar gezellig. Je wandelt zo naar de vogeltjesmarkt en als je met de trein komt ligt het op loopafstand. 's middags serveren ze een thee met gratis heerlijke lokale snacks en hapjes.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit einmaliger Einrichtung. Einen Rundgang durch das Hotel ins Empfehlenswert. Die sindAnitquitäten sind unbeschreiblich.... Sehr gute Indonesische und internationale Küche.

Hotelmitarbeiter sind fast zu freundlich aber jederzeit zuvorkommend. Frühstück lässt zu Wünschen übrig, sehr mager.

Bloemen en fruit op de kamer. Afternoon tea met lekkere hapjes.

Kamer 114: donkere kamer met uitzicht op een blinde muur. Moet de hele dag de lampen aanhouden. Bedlampjes kun je niet vanuit je bed uitdoen. Restaurant is veel te duur. Het lijkt of je met de hoge kamerprijs de hobby van de eigenaar financiert. Geen aanrader.

De sfeer en aankleding van het hotel is prachtig. Al het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk. De gratis thee/koffie met gebak in de middag is geweldig.

Er is geen toeristeninformatie in het hotel behoudens een zeer vaag kaartje. Niet alles wat het restaurant serveert is van hoge klasse. In deprachtige kamer moet men wel uit de koffer leven want kastruimte is er nauwelijks.

Locatie (vlak bij het stadhuis, de vogeltjes en plantenmarkt en de cathedraal). Ook de inrichting is sfeervol met veel antiek. Mooi zwembad en goed werkende internetverbinding.

De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is absoluut zoek. Je betaald veel te veel wat wat je krijgt. De kamers zijn erg klein met mini badkamers. Slecht bijgehouden (op onze kamer werkte maar een stopcontact). Omschrijving in Booking bestand klopt helemaal niet. Er zijn bijvoorbeeld geen verschillende restaurants (slechts een). De 'gym' is een vieze kamer met 4 toestellen. Er werd fruit beloofd bij aankomst hetgeen pas een dag later werd gebracht. Kortom, veel beloftes en misschien de naam maar in werkelijkheid teleurstellend.

Geweldige sfeer. Intiem hotel. Prachtig antiek. Lekker eten en drinken. Zeer centraal gelegen.
