Everything - very beautiful
Owners are really nice. The property is very well built within a natural setting. Hope they expand soon
Locating it for first time was not easy.
Rooms Pool Staff and owner Breakfast Village
Wifi not really working, only email and some IM got through.
Lovely clean spacious room in a great setting with a pool and luscious garden. The breakfast was delicious. Jabba was charming.
The rocky path leading to the main road and the mosquitoes.
Romm furniture, fittings and pool area. That's about it.
Airconditioning didn't work and night was a disaster with unbearable humidity plus mosquitos around. They shouldn't sell and cheat clients like that or tell them before or offer reduced rate. Got finally reduction of idr 100k after pressing. Breakfast rather poor and location not good with shabby backally and not as close to beach as mentioned. Only good for honeymooners (provided aircon works) and people reading books at the pool.
I stayed with a group of three friends at the Villa Jati for four nights in early November and we had such a pleasant stay. The Villas are a bit off the beaten track as there was a rocky driveway (approx 100m), but when we arrived we were most delighted by the beautiful greenery and boutique Villas. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any inquiries we had. The breakfasts were delicious! The pool was also well kept. All of the cab drivers we came across knew the Villa Jati, so there was no issue with having to explain how to get there. It was well located with only a 5 min drive away from the main restaurant/beach strip in Sengiggi.
The wifi was a bit temperamental and the air conditioning had some issues. We also weren't told till checking out that we needed to pay the total in cash which was a bit of a shock.
This is a very nice, peaceful and quiet place. Antonella - the owner is very nice and helpful. This is how one would imagine exclusive Indonesian villa but with European touch. Very clean, well furnished and spacious rooms. Everyday we could smell joss sticks in our room which was lovely. Also as a gay couple we felt comfortable and welcomed. Looking forward to visit Antonella again!!
A mosque is situated very close to the villa. Sometimes it gets very loud and uncomfortable.
Jebba and Antonella have been great in welcoming us and assisting us with any need. They even managed to book a ticket for us at 1am for the following day for a transfer to Gili islands! we really enjoyed our stayinf and would go back again.
The rooms are so nice, clean and great design. The pool isn't huge but big enough. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast
The villas are very nice, with everything you need. Even a bean bag sofa :-) The accommodation has a beautiful, big and clean pool. The owner also organizes tours and scooter rentals and helps out with everything you ask. You can find the beach across the street (5min walk), where you also find nice place to eat (Paradiso) and some resorts.
The breakfast was poor. The organized tour was a bit overpriced. If you want to do something in the evening, you need a scooter, the town is 3 km ahead.
Location - short walk to beach Surroundings - set in lovely garden with good size pool Staff - all very friendly Antonella (owner) - wonderful hostess Breakfast jam - home-made jam was great.
friendliness absolutely clean (flowers on bed) organized a hassle-free and cheap trip to the Gilis
breakfast portions could be bigger too expensive in comparison to other similarly good accommodations owner smoked at breakfast (slightly unprofessional)
Villa Jati has a lovely ambience...from the room decor (with a daily fresh flower decoration on the bed), to the beautiful and well-tended gardens, to the eating area overlooking a great pool. The breakfasts are a stand-out, and the coffee so good! We loved its position, tucked between the beach area with its up-market hotels and the village...I feel we got the best of both worlds. Jabba and Antonella are lovely hosts. on beach saw a wonderful sunset over Mt Agung on Bali, ate great food at a popular warung, and had more than one massage!
Nice Bungalow, good breakfast, nice owner.
The noise around the hotel is simply insane. Animals everywhere and at 5 in the morning the Mosque near by calls for morning pray. Not relaxing at all. Location not great either.
We really enjoyed staying here. The owners were very helpful and kind. Within the first hour we had a motorbike, tickets to the Gili Islands and medical assistance (we were dealing with an infected wound). PRO: -beautiful room -beautiful grounds -beautiful pool area -friendly owner -easy motorbike rental -good/inexpensive food -easly arranged travel to Gili (we payed 70k RP with a transfer from the hotel. Don't get "up-sold" though. Tickets to and from Gili T actually only cost 13k RP, per person, each way once you are at the harbor. They will stop about 500m away from the harder at "BBC" (cafe/place to rip you off). You can either walk the 500m to the harbor or take a horse caraige (for about 20k) or stonewall the up sale and maybe they will pay for a horse carage to the harbor.
CON: -google maps doesn't know where it is. -the surrounding area is impoverished and about 5 min away from Sengiggi by motorbike.
Kind owner Beautifull garden and poolside Nicely decorated rooms
Little hard to find
Very homely, clean, nice bedrooms, peaceful.
The mosque in the morning
The staff is very helpful, breakfast is very good, the place is very nice and relaxing
wi-fi , mosque pretty close
very friendly and helpful owner couple. lovely site, arranged with a lot of attention do detail. amazing breakfast - don't you ever miss it!!!
The hotel was quietly located in a relaxed environment. The hotel owners were extremely helpful and only too happy to help with any queries. A great place to drop out and relax for a couple of days.
The garden, the forest view behind, the pool, the owner, the bungalows.
The dark and dirt little road close to hens off of the main street. Position saved only for proximity to 5 stars resorts where use their services such are restaurant, beach (not for swim for corals outcropping), pool, just round the corner.
We had a fantastic stay at Villa Jari. We loved the accommodation, the pool and the beautiful garden. Antonella, the owner, was always present and extremely helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants, activities and transport. We all loved the location of Villa Jati, set back from the road, but only minutes away from the beach and Warung Paradiso where we ate fantastic food while watching the sunset. Villa Jati has been one of our favourite hotels in Lombok/Bali and we will definitely stay there on our next trip.
Amazing hotel. Cozy - we felt like at home! Location is very good - Mangsit Beach is much better than Senggigi. However it is better to rent a bike to go to Senggigi center - there is about 4km.
The only thing, which could be improved - is to make a possibility to pay with the credit card.
Basically everything! Friendly and helpful stuff, a nice breakfast (not a buffet but don't worry, you'll have a vast choice), a quiet and relaxing place with a swimming pool and a beautiful garden. The hotel is located just 200 m (or even less) far from the Mangsit beach (where you can also find an amazing restaurant). During the night, do not miss the opportunity to look at the astonishing sky...it's quite an experience! Jabba and Antonella (the owners) are glad to offer several tours (Gili islands, waterfalls, village tours)...just ask!
The wifi was a bit slow (but who cares of internet when you are in Lombok? :) ). The morning prayer...but this is the case everywhere in Indonesia (if you are not Muslim). Make sure to wear earplugs then.
has a beautiful beach with less congested within walking distance. lovely villa and garden with a small swimming pool. got a few local warung near the beach.
mosquitoes in the room. bad wifi.
