I love the fact that the White Rose is very central to everything in Kuta and Legian. The family suite is great value for money and an amazing place to stay.

The location is at the heart of kutar. Altought you need a short walk to the kutar beach but is at the center of the nightlife of kutar.

Very weak wifi. Not sure about other rooms but I can't any wifi connection at my room. The only wifi connection I got was at the pool side, lobby & dining places.

Ambience is wonderful. Laid back and serene even though all the action is just a 3 minute walk away. Lovely pool area, great landscaping and plush greenery. Nice spacious rooms. Lovely views from most balconies. Bath / toilet is large and spotless. Very tastefully done up, with no sign of flashiness. Very professional staff.

Spa was under renovation. Restaurants are not exciting. Breakfast buffet quality is superb but menu is repetitive and boring. Insists on "advance" deposits for room-services while checking in!!! That's ridiculous. CAUTION : the taxi tours operated (optional) by the hotel is best avoided. The drivers tend to take you to ONLY those places where you are likely to spend large amounts. Not necessarily to the best tourist attractions!

We like where the hotel was situated..

We booked for 6 nights and on the 3rd night our room was smelling really bad like a toilet. When we complained they sent someone to our room to check and we were told that there was a truck that came in ever morning to flush the pipes out. Unfortunately for us the sewerage concrete pit was right outside our room 1018. Instead of them giving us another room they gave us a can of air freshener and a can of fly spray. This did not work of cause and we complained again and this time they gave us another room but it was miles from anything right at the back of the hotel.

Perfect location if you want to be right in the middle of the hustle bustle of legian st - but set back from the road on beautiful grounds and incredibly quiet for it's proximity to pumping kuta

The on site restaurant is really expensive compared to everywhere else in the area - no real biggie as we just headed down the street

Gym and pool are good.Staff are very good but thats standard Indo. I'd go again with mates aor family but probably not for a romantic trip.

This is NOT legian beach. This is ground zero Kuta and a easy 20 min walk from beach. Having said that,it's quiet. Good pool and gym.

Very spacious, clean rooms with a comfortable bed. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind. The pool was great. Located in the center of Legian so very convenient. Tonnes of restaurants nearby!

My room was a little far, so there was absolutely no Wi-fi. I had to go to the lobby or the pool area to use it.

Location of the hotel is very good, close to the bars, shops, restaurants etc. and the pool is lovely with the villas around it.

It is too noisy because of the music coming from the nearby bars and the breakfast could have been better

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful nights at The White Rose Hotels and Villas in Bali recently. We were surprised how close we were to all the fabulous shopping and great restaurants situated nearby. It was a short stroll to beautiful Kuta beach, not far at all. We had a lovely room with balcony with nice views to the gardens. The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Each morning we enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant. It catered for many different nationalities with Asian, Indian and Western dishes available. We enjoyed the bacon, eggs, sausages as well as the cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants and Danish delicacies. The pool area was very relaxing, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas around the pool. The pool was very clean and we used it a lot to cool off after a day out. We really enjoyed the Wednesday night Balinese Buffet Dinner complete with a traditional Balinese dance show during the evening. We would definitely stay at The White Rose again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a value for money stay, it has everything for a great holiday experience. The staff were very helpful and polite, thank you White Rose!!

    Everything was perfect!

The stay i had at the white rose was great. The staff were very good and friendly. room service great. good location. And i will stay there in november on my next trip for sure.

The only things i could say not so good was you need more drinking water in the room. And people were going to the pool in the morning putting a towel on a sun bed then go back to there room for hours so we could not use there bed. I think you should put some table and chairs out at the pool too.

The service staff. We were able to email reservation staff prior to our visit and discuss room allocations etc. Mr Putu in reception went out of his way to accommodate our requests. You only had to ask, and the cleaning, Dining, Bar and pool staff would go out of their way to help. The Room was a good size and spotless. The grounds were immaculate with plenty of areas to sit under a tree etc. We were close to restaurants, shops and nightlife yet it was quiet, being just off Jl Legian. The beach was a short walk down Poppies lane II.

The only reason the Facilities missed out on an excellent recommendation was that while we were at the White Rose, their Gym and Spa facility were being renovated. I hope they will be available when we return for our next holiday.

We didn't realise we'd be in the heart of the Kuta nightclub scene however it was okay to base ourselves from and we didn't really leave our hotel room after 10pm to experience the partiers. Room was clean and comfy, nice big bed. Pool was nice and clean also. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were not told that we were to put on a deposit - 2 million rupiah. I was quite shocked as I'd already paid and was not made aware. As a very young couple who saved hard for a holiday while we're studying, this extra cost put us out the whole holiday, as we only received it back the day we were flying out. The reception staff, female staff in particular were rude and not very willing to help out. Most of the Balinese are friendly and will go out of their way and they were the rudest staff I'd experienced. The wifi was absolutely dreadful and their system just does not work. Breakfast needed to be cleared quicker, one morning it was so busy and there were few tables available, those that were were all dirty and full of dishes. Of course we were capable of moving the dishes however while on a holiday I do not expect to have to clean other peoples mess. Wouldn't recommend booking day trips through the hotel as they're overpriced and you can find better deals elsewhere. This hotel is fine for teenagers loving to party, however wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Loved the location of the place. A 5 minute walk to the beach and near by shopping centres. staff were fantastic, very friendly and would bend over back wards to help in any way. Breakfast was great every morning no matter what time you went they were always restocking. The grounds were really nice and peaceful and well kept. The pool area was great for us plenty of room for everyone and fresh towels to use by the hotel in the pool area. The rooms were cleaned everyday along with fresh linen daily. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The gym could do with some up graded equipment, it was still ok. Not a lot to say about out stay that we didn't like because we loved it.

2 minute walk to ground zero yet you would hardly know it. Rooms large, clean and spacious, same goes for the bathroom. Good, varied brekkie each morning with bacon and an eggs any style corner

I really have to question the need for the "shared living area" which is basically the shared hallway to the rooms with ashtrays and a couch which encourages the drunk guests to congregate there at 2am or whenever they come back. It's just not necessary and I hope somebody from hotel management can see this. The rooms have balconies, I mean they can smoke and drink there, right? I got woken up 2 nites in a row by the same group of drunken tourists, very annoying.

A beautiful hotel - amazing staff, good buffet breakfast, big swimming pool and clean rooms. Value for money and good location too, steps away from the Ground Zero memorial and shopping, not far from the beach too. But quiet and peaceful at the same time - would definitely recommend to anyone.

Bad Wi-Fi signal in the rooms. No lifts to the rooms - some rooms are located on the third floor.
