Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Food was great, staff were friendly. Pool was clean and a beautiful relaxing area to be in and also had an amazing massage in the spa.
The description on booking.com for 3 bedrooms and a lounge didn't indicate that there would be no door from the main corridor to the lounge and therefore all bedrooms would have to remain locked at all times. Because of this we had to upgrade at an additional cost to a family suite as my 11 year old son was in tears at the thought of being in a room of his own. The family suite was really lovely though ️However, the only downside was that sometimes the room would be filled with the stench of rotten eggs from the drains.
Had booked two deluxe rooms and ended up upgraded to villa style accommodation which was very comfortable with plenty of room.
The only negative was the smell from the bathroom/shower, presume due to bad drainage. It was overpowering at times and very unpleasant.
The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. I liked the swimming pool righ outside out room. The service was fabulous that they would fill out the drinking water for us when we went out for sight seeing!
The internet was a bit tricky that it had no automatic connection.
I liked the location, close to nightlife and food places
The staff spoke very limited English which made it hard to ask for certain things
Very Central to everything. eg. restaurants and nightclubs.
The only thing I found wrong was the rooms were noisy. We could hear the people above us moving furniture and walking around in there room. Also we could hear people coming home late at night.
Great pool room and location
Ordered nachos at the pool bar and for the price was very bland, would be the worst I've ever had
Nice and helpful staff, good food , ok location, good pool, nice park, ok room. I have forgotten a dress on the hotel, they were so nice to find it, and have it ready for me, so I could pick it up on the way home. Thank you:-)
The pool area was clean, nice and very comfortable. All necessary facilities are available. Staff were fantastic and the room was clean.
There are room for improvements of the music in the pool area.
The atmosphere and service was brilliant. The location is perfect. We will definitely stay here again!
Bad internet connection in our room.
Walking distance to nightlife and shops
Able to hear a lot of noise from other rooms during the day/ night
location, quietness, pool size, clean rooms, 24 hr room service
food wasn't that great, could improve in that area, has the breakfast once in 6 nights,,
Typical Balinese hospitality
If you are not into the cheap nightlife then get a room away from the entry gate and cheapo Aussie guests.
Kuta is not a nice city to stay in but as our trip neared its end, we were tired of unpacking/packing and decided to stay in the same place as the hotel was nice. The pool was big and they were a lot of sun loungers, which is appreciated. A perfect place for a relaxing couple of days (though night time is a different story). Overall, it was a good value for money but I wouldn't advise anyone that's not a hardcore party-goer on staying more than two nights in Kuta. Ubud was so much nicer in terms of little restaurants, massages and things to do! Good reflexology accross Legian street at Shinkei spa.
The breakfast was a disgrace to Bali and to a hotel of this standard, with powdered juices and not a lot of fresh things. Everything was tasteless, if lucky, and not good if you weren't. Although they are a lot of choices, the food is not worth it. It would be better to have less choices but quality ones. We extended our stay twice and when we went to the reception they offered only rates twice what we had paid by booking.com. We refused and booked other nights via booking.com for the same price we had previously paid. The wifi connection is worse than other places in Bali, it disconnects more and as you have to use a 3-day login and password (one per device) it gets really annoying. Why can't big hotels use a simple password system?! Crowds of extremely noisy, screaming Australians in the middle of the night. If the hotel staff cannot control its guests, they should at least have separated areas for party-goers and groups of friends to preserve the calm for the other customers.
Location, breakfast, staff were friendly
due to building being 3 floors, the middle floor can be quite noisy & door locking mechanisms required doors to be closed forcefully to lock. Just a little too noisy for my liking.
We stayed at the Whiterose for two nights and were very, very impressed. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds are lovely and massive pools, gardens and surroundings. It is hard to believe you are in the middle of Kuta being there. When we arrived our room was not ready so they allowed us to leave our bags and eat in the cafe by the pool (put the bill on the room with out have a number yet). All food and drinks we had at the whiterose were reasonable in price and very yummy. The room was spacious and on the ground floor with easy access to the pool area. They were very efficient with housekeeping as I had put the sign up for them not to tidy up in the morning and they came back in the afternoon and left a note saying they had come back again but the sign was still up (Very efficient). The hotel is on the main drag of Kuta and it is perfect! They hotel is in its own little oasis - can hear hardly any noise from surrounding clubs once in the rooms. We reccomend the White Rose to anyone wanting to be close to all the hustle and bustle of Kuta.
We have nothing to complain about.
Freindly staff, amazing location and a very comfortable stay.
hotel room facilities meet my requirement, tq
there was no air conditioner in the restaurant
38,USD price tag including breakfast!
This was the second time in 6 months I've stayed at White Rose... The location in the middle of Kuta is perfect. All you need to do is walk down the lane and you are right amongst all the restaurants/shopping/massage places... The biggest clubs are literally a few doors down so it really is a good spot for anyone who's in Bali to party. Great atmosphere around the pool too! The buffet breakfast is good and the rooms are nice and clean... If you stay pay more for the ground floor units as the stairs can be a killer when your on the third floor and you come home after a big night out 5 nights in a row haha (no elevators in any of the blocks of units)
Staff are friendly
Needs to update there menu
having stayed in the Terrace Kuta after this hotel, I'd highly recommend staying here instead - its got way more space, more beauty, the pool is much better, the aircon is better, the room size is wonderful. Breakfast was good in terms of variety - eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc,
So its a tiny bit dated Just fans in the dining hall - hot place to eat your brekkie! Music by the pool was a bit irritating - you can't escape it or just read your book. WIFI on the first few days was PAINFUL but by the pool and lobby was ok. Menu isn't spectacular and quite overpriced - don't eat at the hotel, go out and about, you're right in the heart of it all anyway.
Well located. Probably the best place to stay in Kuta, especially for those who are looking for nightlife. Helpful staff. The pool area is great, perfect to get some rest after a "busy day on the beach".
The aircon stopped run and they tried to fix it but I slept one night without aircon. Next day they changed my room and everything was OK. Don't forget your ear plug... the night clubs are near and the noise can be a problem.
Central to everything
Charges were not explained correctly
Bedroom: clean, comfortable, warm colors Pool: big Food: good breakfast buffet, a lot of options Staff: professional (hard to find in a place like Bali since I live here) Location: Right in the middle of a great shopping district but you would never know it
Coffee: not good!
The hotel is located in the heart of Kuta. Excellent facilities, and incredible breakfast, with heaps of options to choose from. The pool is very good and the room are comfy and well maintained. I'd stay again for sure.
Accessing the during the night could be a little bit tricky. You have to walk about 50mts in a sort of driveway and being at Kuta's heart you can find lots of "surprises" and offering in your way in. (Either way, there's a security guard in hotel's entry gate).
