Y Resort Ubud  

Good service, good hotel.

Location far away from ubud center.

Good sized rooms and comfortable bed. Shuttle bus into markets in Ubud.

Prices at restaurant are high and +21%. Basic breakfast. Pool was too dirty to swim in.

All the staff were extremely friendly and genuinely cared that your experience at Y Resort Ubud was the very best. Rooms were very clean. Peaceful and serene. I arrived late in the evening and on prior arrangement was picked up at the airport and as I had a late evening flight out they accommodated me with a late check out time. There was a good choice at breakfast, and their other meals were varied and well prepared. I highly recommend Y Resort Ubud and will definitely return.

Peaceful and beautiful

First of all I would like to thank Mr. Dirga - hotel manager and all his hotel staff - Putu and all the others for their hospitality and wonderful care they took about us, they made our time as the best time in our life inBali. My and my daughter Jana have spent 10 wonderful days in Ubud - Y Resort. It was my 50´s Birthday and hotel even prepared on their expences small celebration for me - wonderful cake and non alcoholic drinks with the life music - Putu played the quitar - it was really great - thank you all very much, it was my best birthday ever! I would like to inform everybody that services, cleanless, good hearts of all staff, accomodation and hotel area are just great and for us the best in Bali. Hotel takes care about their customers and they do their best to listen and fulfil all wishes of their clients. Hotel has free shuttle that bring you to Ubud which is close from the hotel, very high quality of services, clean rooms, very nice meditation area with swimming pool, good food in the restaurants and they try their best even to improve their services. We left and came back 2 days during our stay in Bali. Hotel even 2 times prepared free fruit baskets as for returning customers, hotel has laundry service, they take your luggage to your room so you do not have to do it on your own. Highly recommended! For sure we come back for Christmas 2013:) Looking forward to see you all soon and thank you again for wonderful time we spend with all of you in Y Resort Ubud:)

Great value budget hotel with a carefree atmosphere and relatively new design and environment, modern Bali-style bathroom, fridge in room, very friendly and service-oriented staff, good wifi connection, lovely pergola areas for lounging around, lit up at night, many local Warungs in the immediate environment (yet far enough away from the busy touristy parts of Ubud), good size infinity lap pool, great massages in the pleasant spa area. Food/ drinks available in the hotel until late at night. Great mixed fruit juices by the pool. All meals/ coffee brought to room or elsewhere on the premises at all times at no extra charge by the friendly staff. I stayed at the Y-Resort for a week, now for the second time and found it higly recommendable. Great for people who need to attend to some internet-related business along with enjoying their holiday. I got a great special rate in the low season, which influenced my choice of staying at the Y-Resort

The quality of the food could be improved on, quite basic and very small serves for meals and salads. Ingredients and preparation vary dramatically depending who is in the kitchen (no real concept of things, poor staff training). When there is a buffet on for breakfast, the value is 5 times that of the one menu choice only on other days, at the same rate.Some more local Bali-typical vegetation and features could be added to the premises for a more Bali-style look.

A bit too near the road

The location close to Ubud town centre but in a quiet street. The layout and design of the hotel was very good.

Very nice, friendly and helpfull staff, good breakfast, quiet surrounding. We spent 6 days in this hotel, two times 3 days in a row. Second room, with one huge bed, was much better then the first one with two separate beds.

Only thing that is missing is ventilation in toilet.

The staff were very friendly, spoke good english and could not do enough for. You. Great shower. Flatscreen 32inch tv. Very supportive of the community holding a dance and meal and donating monies to the local school.The dance was performed by the school students and was very good. The Spa smelt beautiful and I enojyed a free mini massage. Thanks y- Resort for a great and memorable stay.

friendly and helpful staff

i expected the rooms to be bigger

A friendly, not too big, garden-style place right around the corner of lush walks, paddy fields and a 5 min ride to touristy Ubud. Rooms are comfortable and hip with simple but trendy bathrooms. The bicycles are perfect to take the ride up to Teggalalung. Staff friendly and thoughtful.

I speak very highly of the staff. Everyone was curteous, polite, most considerate and most welcoming... I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

A perfect small hotel complex with lovely grounds and pool area. Rooms are a good size with large bathrooms. The staff are excellent.

The only small negative for us was that it was a bit too far from the main shopping areas of Ubud to walk comfortably. However, the hotel provided an excellent shuttle service and taxis were plentiful and cheap.

No pickup from Airport despite booking

I like the location of the resort, it was out of the busy and noisy main street. The resort was superb and quite new.

service is prima, fijn kleinschalig hotel, met een scooter of de taxi ben je zo in het centrum van Ubud.

La stanza, grande e ben arredata. La piscina, molto bella situata in 1 tranquillo giardinetto proprio di fronte la camera. Il rapporto prezzo/qualità. La posizione, 1 pò fuori dal centro di Ubud, circa 1 km, ma essendo a 100 mt dal museo Blanco, facilmente raggiungibile x noi ke avevamo 1 jeep...

Es un hotel bastante nuevo con las habitaciones muy limpias. La piscina está muy bien. Se encuentra en un sitio muy tranquilo algo apartado del centro de Ubud a 3 minutos en coche. Te llevan al pueblo gratis.
