Staff very friendly and helpful
Sat on bed and top of mattress hit the base - had to line the bed with spare towels to stop springs poking my ribs
Friendly and accommodating staff.
Hotel is a little run down and needs to be updated.
Good Location. Horrible bed if you want to actually sleep pay an extra 30euro and get a nice hotel. The Room was clean and would be fine if you where highly intoxicated and happened to travel with a mattress topper otherwise avoid.
Bed was the worst I have ever experienced, I didn't sleep at all. We left very early the next morning because It was so bad.
Easy to locate by car and next to very good eating facilities.good clean and comfortable at a reasonable price.online booking easy.
Location, very close to the city Hassle free check in Big bathroom
Quite noisy- especially if in a room facing the entrance but the noise from the halls and joining bedrooms can be quite loud. The bed was'nt comfortable, along wit the fact that my bedsheets had several holes in it.
Rockin Joes eatery very tasty place and good selection with affordable prices availability of refreshments Good Parking area 24 hour reception
Not Sound Proof No local knowledge known by staff
The bed was broken. The bed was broken the last time I stayed here as well in a different room.
Location .. Very helpful staff also
not very much
noisy rooms and walls shuck from wind outside. not very sturdy
Staff were pleasant. Option of drinks and breakfast were good.
I was contacted the day before (16/10) to confirm my stay and asked could I check in early as staying for a wedding and needed to change clothes as had a 2 hr trip. I was advised there is generally a €10 fee for early check in but as I just need to change it would not be a problem and I would not be charged this. I was then charged the extra €10 on arrival, even though I explained above. The sheets very rough and therefore did not feel fresh. There was a lot of noise outside the window in the morning which interrupted sleep. There was a peculiar smell in the room when we arrived. I would have been somewhat more satisfied with the stay based on the €52 that I should have been charged, in terms of value for money, but as the stay then amounted to €62 I could have booked a stay in a hotel close by for only €7 extra and had a full Irish breakfast, early check in and late check out included!
Great location, very convenient to everything, shops, restaurant & others.
Putting extra charge of €10 if you check in early even you mention what time you will be checking in. We arrived @ 1:15pm & we are told to put extra €10 bcoz we arrived early than the usual 3pm checking time.. Unbelievable?? Instead of resting after a long hrs drive from dublin. So, to cut the story short, we went to Mahon Falls then came back @ 4pm..
I had to go to reception for a change of towels and more coffee. I don't know if it is policy or what but there was no room service/ cleaning during our stay. The bathroom was stink of pee and the carpets in the hallway needed a hover. We went out for breakfast on the morning we were leaving and when I went out for a smoke around 11.20am. On my way back to the room the receptionist called me to tell me he had a breakfast voucher for 2 people for me. The restaurant stops serving breakfast at 11am. Great timing. Would liked to have been told where or how to order a few bears for our room. Will definitely be going back as is in a great location.
Cheep and comedortable. Sorry got these mixed up so commented in wrong boxes.
The mattress on the bed was approximately 3 inches depth with coils extremely noticeable. It was impossible to sleep at all. When I arrived at the inn, I went immediately to the room and changed into pajamas. I had been driving all day and was extremely tired. When I confronted the receptionist the next day and showed him the mattress , he said I should have let him know right away. Then he said they knew this was a poor mattress. I feel I am due at least half of the fee I paid. Sincerely, Sally Finnigan
I travel with a retired Guide Dog and the Travelodge is one of the very few places in Waterford that accept animals.
The place suffers from a lot of traffic noise at night and I think that the charge of 5 euros per night for the dog is a bit steep.
Close to city. great if your having a night out with friends, good value for money.
There was a vending machine, water fountain and 24 hour reception.
Stayed in room 15. Room smelled of smoke and mould. Mould spots on bathroom ceiling. Water poured out all over the floor when having a shower. Only 2 sockets, neither beside the bed. Was told by two different people earlier in the week that I could book late checkout when we arrived at hotel, we were told it wouldn't be possible to add on late checkout when we arrived.
Wifi only available in "lobby", breakfast extra cost. Noisy fire doors opening and closing throughout the night, also very cold in room upon arrival.
The location. Friendly staff. Good shower.
8 guests, 2 rooms, 3 beds in each room. One ended up on a mattress on the floor. Two had to top & tail. Was shown an alternative room, smelly and old and dirty. Not enough towels. Thin walls, could hear people outside coming in at all hours.
Cheap & cheerful!
Close to Rocking Joes Dinner which was good value
Dog friendly which is not that easy in Ireland apparently. It was cheap & cheerful - you get what you pay for. Not a luxury stay but clean & good value.
When we arrived at reception there was only one room booked for 5 tired men , took about another half an hour to get it sorted out , other than that the stay was first class
it was all good
The friendly helpful reception staff
