“it was very handy for the airport, particularly with an early flight at 06.50, and the staff could not have been more helpful, even printing out my boarding pass for me. The hotel restaurant/cafeteria was also spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good.”

Very good practical hotel near the airport. All the hotels I stayed at in Ireland or N. Ireland had WiFi for free. It's unfortunate that the Travelodge does not.

Without the doubt the best thing about my stay here was when I got to leave. Upon arriving at the Travelodge at approximately 1pm, my party of six were informed by a rather rude member of staff that we were unable to check into our three rooms until 3pm. We then asked if could leave our luggage in a store room and return at 3pm to check in. The member of staff told us that this was not a possibility as no such service existed. Needless to say, I found this to be somewhat peculiar for an establishment that is no doubt frequented by luggage laden clients, travelling to and from the nearby airport. Following this, the member of staff told us, in what seemed to her to be a reasonable alternative, that we would be permitted to check into our rooms early, but at a cost of 10 euro extra per room! I failed to see the logic in this as it had now been clearly established that the rooms were in fact ready for us but we would be required to pay 10 euro over the booking price for the privilege of checking in before 3pm. Owing to a pressing engagement my party and I decided that we would pay the 10 euro to check into one room, dispose of our bags there and upon our return to the Travelodge check into the two remaining rooms. Returning to check in after 3pm we were met by a different member of staff behind the desk. In order to check in she requested that we each provide some photo id. I have never had to provide this for any of the high class and world renowned hotels that I have stayed at over the years. To provide phote id for a fleeting stay in a Travelodge seemed bizarre to me. The staff member, who had an American accent, then informed me in an incredibly obnoxious manner, that I would have to sign a form that would allow my card to be charged in the event of any damage to the rooms or noise pollution. I had no problem with this, as it is standard practice. However, I did find issue in the way in which this staff member went about asking me to sign the form.

Nothinh It was very smelly, we had to change rooms and then the other room was freezing, u would never stay there again. The receptionist was a moody old woman who looked down her nose at younger people.

Given that its so near the airport and people have to getup very early for flights I would suggest leaving bath/shower products for use. Many people have their own stuff in luggage that they do not want to unpack. Otherwise no complaints at all about our stay.the staff were very friendly, the rooms were very comfortable and quiet and clean.

Location near airport very good, transfer very good. Facilities at Travelodge very basic as expected but no bar, other than a cold cabinet behind reception desk and the price charged for 3 x miller bottles 15 euros way too expensive. Food in restaurant poor quality. First room given to us smelled very badly, like a blocked toilet, but we were offered a alternative immediately.

We used the hotel for quick access to a very early flight from the airport. We arrived in time to avail of the resturant for dinner and were pleased with the food, service and staff attention. The meal itself was excellent value. We were so pleased with the attention and value that we decided to use the hotel again on our return rather than face a late night drive back to Belfast.

More than anything I was happy with the location. The rooms were very comfortable but there was a constant noise from road traffic. The staff were very good and helpful. The diner next door was excellent and the staff seemed very happy which makes a big difference to most English establishments. I would have no problem staying there again.

Convenient location and free car parking. Efficient booking in procedures.. The price is OK but the rooms are getting very tired. It's well overdue a refurb. Also we booked a twin but were given a double - didnt complain but it meant I had to share with the missus for a couple of days!!

I found the staff extremely usless especially the night time staff... 3 times I had to ask for security to be send to my corridor as there was a 'hallway' party outside with about 20 people making noise! I was told there was nothing the hotel could do! Also i booked my room on a booking website not the travelodge site and nowhere did it say that i had to pay €10 extra for check in before 3....and to add more at 5 to 12 the next day i received a call to check out and leave the hotel! I will be hard pushed to use this hotel again as it was not a nice experience!
