Travelodge Dublin Airport North 'Swords'Pinnock Hill Roundabout, Swords (Show map) Good, Score from 370 reviews“it was very handy for the airport, particularly with an early flight at 06.50, and the staff could not have been more helpful, even printing out my boarding pass for me. The hotel restaurant/cafeteria was also spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good.”

The worst hotel we have been. Never again. The front desk staff needs training in customer care. The hotel charge the entire stay in advance. The insulation between floors and between walls is very poor. You hear eveything. The furniture is very worn, the shower system is bad and the bathroom fan was noisy. But worst of all is that there is no control of customer behavior on the part of staff. During our second night in the hotel, guests arrived drunk and continued the party at the rooms and corridors of the hotel without the hotel staff gets their attention. Even beat several times the door of our room. Until 5:30 in the morning did not stop the scandal. In our 15 years traveling throughout much of the world we had never gone so wrong. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Convenient location and free car parking. Efficient booking in procedures.. The price is OK but the rooms are getting very tired. It's well overdue a refurb. Also we booked a twin but were given a double - didnt complain but it meant I had to share with the missus for a couple of days!!

Convienent to airport The most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in- it sagged badly in the middle. The bathroom fan was on all night, even with the bathroom light off and disturbed my sleep- the phone didn't work so I had to get dressed and walk to reception- he did apologise but didn't come to the room or offer any solution and there were no other free rooms

Filthy. Electric heater released overwhelming toxic fumes into the room. No tv remote, asked for one, got one that didn't work, I.E. no tv at all. Three beds, exactly two flat pillows. Night: very loud sound of oil burner or something every few mins, I.e no sleep at all. Doors in hall bang to add to this noise problem. Morning: Shower on, couldn't be turned off, called reception, guy arrived, shut off water completely and walked off. No water (and I mean no water at all) to shower, wash or brush teeth etc. this was my second time to stay, noise and filth problem same as before. Only stayed there because all other hotels in the area were booked out due to Europa cup final in town. I feel sorry for the many football fans who got the worst taste of Ireland possible in what is the single worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many around the world. So... No sleep, no tv, no water all for a whopping 109 euros. I would recommend that this hotel be shut down for renovation by Bord Failte or the relevant authorities before anyone else gets robbed blind by it.

room was clean, tv worked, the nightly rate was good The bed was passed it use by date very cheap feeling to it and uncomfortable. Could not leave window open because of noise and could not adjust the heating. I could hear everything from the room next door full of loud teenagers I stayed with my little 3 year and yet we were put beside a room and in the same hallway as a group of noisy teenagers. The doors on all the rooms in this hallway close with a bang I did complain to the guests but it was a waste of time My daughter fell asleep after a while but I had a really bad sleep I think improvements need to be made.I would not stay again.

Nothing the hotel and managment were awful Manager and bouncer verbally abused my friend. The managers behaviour was shocking. A complaint was lodged and also with the travelodge company. No pillows when we entered the room, when asked staff made us feel like we had hidden or stolen them, very rude and unhelpful. Toilet paper was stuck to walls. I would never ever stay in a travel lodge again.

Given that its so near the airport and people have to getup very early for flights I would suggest leaving bath/shower products for use. Many people have their own stuff in luggage that they do not want to unpack. Otherwise no complaints at all about our stay.the staff were very friendly, the rooms were very comfortable and quiet and clean.

Location near airport very good, transfer very good. Facilities at Travelodge very basic as expected but no bar, other than a cold cabinet behind reception desk and the price charged for 3 x miller bottles 15 euros way too expensive. Food in restaurant poor quality. First room given to us smelled very badly, like a blocked toilet, but we were offered a alternative immediately.

We used the hotel for quick access to a very early flight from the airport. We arrived in time to avail of the resturant for dinner and were pleased with the food, service and staff attention. The meal itself was excellent value. We were so pleased with the attention and value that we decided to use the hotel again on our return rather than face a late night drive back to Belfast.

More than anything I was happy with the location. The rooms were very comfortable but there was a constant noise from road traffic. The staff were very good and helpful. The diner next door was excellent and the staff seemed very happy which makes a big difference to most English establishments. I would have no problem staying there again.

“Glenmore House is close to the airport which is great when you have to catch an early flight. The staff was also very helpful. It is also possible to take a breakfast any time, it's sort of self service. This is also great when you have an early flight. A shuttle bus to the airport stops just outside the hotel and goes every half hour. I was at the airport in about 5 minutes!” Eefje, Barna |
