Near the airport Host is very friendly and helpfull
Our Matrass was really bad TV didn't work Drogheda has a lot of abbandoned houses, pubs, stores. Not a very nice city. The bathroom wasn't clean at all, Chalk (or toothpaste?) Was on the Sink and tap.
everything was great owner very helpful and friendly
there was nothing to dislike great place to stay
food was good and dining area was pleasing. The Host, Peter and his wife were very friendly and helpful We really enjoyed walking down the hill to the pub
furniture wasn't really my style TV a bit small
clean room with TV - in general the rooms were clean and the staff friendly.
breakfast was average and location was not very convenient for walking to the town. Due to the location i would not recommend to others as it was very difficult to find
The Location, The food, The comfort. The Courtesy shown in posting my wallet having left it behind for which i promised to refund €6 postage...and almost forgotten to do..but it will be done in morning..Enjoyable 2 nights
Large clean room, good sized bathroom, quiet location, comfortable bed, owner very helpful, excellent breakfast
The staff/host's were very welcoming the room was spotless the bed very comfortable breakfast was excellent would definitely recommend it.
The TV , satellite box was too high up it glared down onto my bed in the dark of night trying to get to sleep is difficult with the red eye standby lights glaring on you . someone spent the night snoring in another room and I got no sleep...
Host was very knowledgeable about area, served an excellent breakfast, and room was spotless. Excellent restaurants within short walking distance.
Parking situation is a little tight for someone driving an unfamiliar car on the "wrong" side. but I suppose better that it was off the street.
Breakfast was the best part of the stay
Was rather dirty in the room, soiled mattress cover, had to clean the kettle and handles to the bathroom first.
Mary and Pat were very efficient and friendly, room was lovely and comfortable and breakfast was very good too.
Nice home, friendly hosts and great breakfast.
Mattress a bit uncomfortable for us as could feel the springs
The friendliness of the owners, the comfort of the bedroom and the excellent breakfast.
Homely, clean & comfortable. Great breakfast.
This was a very comfortable stay- it was only for one night, but I felt like I had gone home for a nice weekend with my parents. They greeted us, helped us with our bags, gave advice on where to visit and eat. The home is covered in family photos and local history like newspaper articles and it was fun to talk with Peter about all of these! Peter also served us homemade breakfast in the morning, including THE BEST soda bread I've ever had! (Made, of course, by Mary) This was a great spot for us to stop over for a quick trip to Drogheda. Thank you, Peter & Mary, for your hospitality!
,the boss sympathique Petter
Charming helpful host. Nice breakfast.
Bed not comfy, could feel the springs!! Wifi didn't work in our room
I did not like this B & B at all. I would never stay in it again. On arrival the owner seemed to be in very bad humour. The curtains on windows were hideous. I was wide awake at 6 in morning as room was far too bright. I could have booked the Westcourt Hotel for €79 which did not include breakfast. The Aaron Vale was €60. When I booked it I thought it was €35. As the owner pointed out it was €35 for single occupancy. This was not very obvious when I booked it. Also my boyfriend accidentally went into the wrong room which was like a box room and there was a man lying there completely naked. If there us peopke living there they should keep there room locked as thos can easily happen when you are not familar with a house. The whole experience was awful. I would never stay in a B & B again.
The breakfast was the only thing nice about Aaron Vale
able to walk to town
Reasonable walking distance to town centre. Good Eating places within easy reach. . Well run, clean and good breakfasts. Some interesting information about the recent history on the walls.
value for money
Everything to be honest this B&B is the best one I've ever been.
I haven't noticed anything
I thought the location was very pleasant, as was Peter the host. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The room was lovely and bright. I would definitely stay again.
The bed wasn't the most comfy, but the pillows made up for it and it was very clean and fresh.
