Friendly place, felt at ease! Iris was a star!!!!!!!
Charge of 2 euro if you pay with card. Hopefully there is an ATM about 100m away.
Location. Most of the staff is friendly, just a few of them need to improve. Good common areas. Breakfast was okay, it's served after 8am.
Maybe lighting could have been seperate for part of the room as it lit the whole room disturbing others at late time. If u could maybe bring washing machine and ironing facilities that would be really good. Overall I have nothing to say against but these are suggestions which I'm making for the hotel to improve.
Staff were soooo nice and so respectful and kind in towards helping with with any matters I had even though they were not related to the hotel. They offered me many ideas and were overall great staff.
16 beds is not something I want to do again, they give you a bed number but if you are arriving late everyone is asleep so what are you supposed to do (tried to find the bed number but was waking up people so just crawled into the nearest open one!) many turns and hallways.
I liked the location. It was close to the tour I was meeting in the morning. I liked the guys at the front desk, as they were friendly and made you feel welcome. The free wifi was of course very nice!
Tried two showers, one was not working and the other only had icy cold water. The staff did not help on the matter. 25 EUR for a place in a 28 beds dorm with no shower is not reasonable.
I did not particualy like the breakfast. But fortunately there is a Starbucks around the corner...
great atmospheer, there are awesome graffiti drawings all over the place. At the reception you can borrow a hair dryer or straightener (superb). I have met a lot of great people in the hostel and the staff was really nice and awesome :)
Do not like how there is only stairs there are no lifts. But if u ask the staff nicely they help you with your bags. The 6 dorms in the second building are small.
I liked the facilities and also how clean everything was. Felt safe as there are multiple security doors. Toilets flushed and the showers was good, at one time I had the whole room for my self for like a night and I felt like I had my own ensuite. Liked how there are multiple bathrooms on each floor. Also the free baggage rooms is so handy !!! Wifi connection is fantastic !
Breakfast was so good and the staff so helpful!
I expected to have a clean bed. Beds in my view are not exchanged after someone using the bed. for sure Others hostel provides clean clothes bed at checking in. This in my view is bad.
People working there are friendly. ...
The staff is the worst in the world , horror , rude , nervous ....
Good location and content of the hostel ...
The hostel was really nice, frendly people
The inside of the hostel is quite complicated. I got lost several times... The capacity of toilets and bathrooms are limited compared to the number of guests.
Very well located. A few minutes' walk to the Temple Bar.
Excellent localisation, friendly and helpfull staff, safe and clean acomodations!
I need booking a week before because the rooms sold out quickly
This hostel looks amazing, but whrn you get in it's really crazy!! The staff are kidding all the time and always show u the best smile, also they explain u everything about the hostel. Inside is plenty of amazing graffittis and the common rooms are very confortable for expending your time talking with other travellers. The ubication is in one of principal streets, close to train and bus station, pubs, Spire...I always return to this hostel, I can't remember how many times I booked bed in this hostel!
That it was a 14 bed dorm slightly overcrowded
How central the location was
Facilities are ok, but I think there is not enough toillets.
The staff is great! The location is perfect.
The room wasnt clean, I book a female room and they put me in a mixed room.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a smiling fellow American named Lucas. He told me everything I needed to know about the Hostel and the city, including what routes to take and what to see. --The room was super clean! the bed was super comfortable and the best thing is I gained a friend with the girl I shared room with. Location is PERFECT!
Didn't use the kitchen much so can't speak to that. Really nothing stands out as a negative experience!
I was thoroughly impressed with the hostel staff. The first girl I met was a little mopey, but the rest of the staff was super helpful with getting me directions to the bus, suggesting wonderful places to visit, and offering lovely conversation in general! I was at the hostel in January, so it was not very crowded at all and I had plenty of room in my 14 bed dorm. My 3rd floor dorm was comfy but I can't speak for them all. Showers were awesome and had hot water!! This hostel is a maze of twists and turns but I found it artsy and charming. Probably the best breakfast offered from a hostel. Loved the computer room and hammock room for chilling. All in all felt really at home. Very close to some great restaurants, pubs, transit, and other hostels with your new friends :)
the 42-bed dorm was a nightmare; it smelled like urine, feces, vomit, feet, you name it. could hardly breathe. impossible to sleep.
Computer Room Staff was really nice!
Great location, clean and comfortable!
One of the toilets was broken for the three days I was there and not fixed. My top bunk also had a low beam above it giving even less head room. Long walk to the bathrooms.
Close to city. Staff were excellent.
Mattress not very comfortable, some plugs don't work, think of taking your own padlock because those of the hostel are expensive
Very well located in the centre of Dublin, youth hostel with a lot of furnitures (cinema room, PC room, play room) and a lot of offers (free WIFI and breakfast, free walking city tour..) and very clean share areas such as showers and toilets. Heating works very well (journey in December). And the good price-quality ratio makes The Abbey Court Hostel a really good place to go for a trip between friends !
Just a shame I wasn't staying here longer
Great helpful staff, amazing people in the hostel and generally a good time every time I returned, for socialising and meeting people from different backgrounds this is the hostel to be
I can't invited my friend??? This is not good for me!! I payed 400 euro for moUnt!!!
