Great location, working wifi, really nice staff
Rooms/beds and toilets/shower are very dirty. Staff is incompetent (especially the general manager with who I wanted to discuss. She told me to leave if I were not satisfied). I really advise against that hostel, there are plenty other hostel in Dublin that are much better.
The place was huge and offered a lot to do.
The showers were so small and dirty, our room smelled like a middle school boys locker room.
I liked how close it is for everything.. its a really hot spot in dublin. Access to everything by walking.
The pillows were uncomfortable
A nice clean hostel with good facilities and in a great location. Staff were very helpful when we needed to book an extra night.
They asked for photo ID, which I did not have. I had an out of date student card, and of course credit/debit cards, but they were not happy with these. They wanted passport or driving licence. Since I booked on the internet, I would have expected the site to specify that you needed ID. The girl did let me stay, but she was less than impressed.
The location is fairly good
I turned up at 10 a.m at the hostel altgouht my check in supposed to be at 2 p.m, there a enormous queue really annoying and despite I have commented that I'd rather have a bottom bunk, they put me on the top bed! But all right.. The thing is that the guy who was sleeping under my bed couldn't stop moving himself, thus my bed was also moving! I couldn't sleep at all. To conclude my fed up, the wifi didn't work well in my room (39)!!
Cleanliness. Lots of hot water and great pressure in showers. Very little street noise.
No coat hooks in rooms, no shelves beside beds (for spectacles, phones etc). No charging sockets beside each bed. **I ran a hostel for eight years in Sligo and fitted all above after listening to hostellers comments.** Security cages under bunks are a good idea, but very noisy if used very early or late at night.
Location Cost Amount of facilities
I couldn't lock my bed cage
Location s the main plus point.
Bathrooms are less compared to do many people.
The location is perfect, right in the City center. Staff is kind and helpful.
A little messy and crouded, few power energy spots in bedrooms, small bedroom with very little space to bags and personnal stuff.
It's a place with a lot of character and is fun to explore, not to mention incredibly affordable. Staff were friendly too amd it's in a great location. I'll look forward to my next stay.
Only thing I felt was missing was that there was no full irish breakfast. A fry up included in the price of a stay would make this place, in my opinion, the perfect hostel.
Location, right in the centre of the city. Price, very budget friendly. They upgraded me to a room with fewer beds free of charge.
I stayed there for a weekend, just for sleep, but it did not work out, because many young people come and go around 11pm-4am. But this is a hostel for young people after all, so it's not the hostels fault.
Cheap, city centre and a social environment
Very busy and quite chaotic and you meet some of the rudest characters here
Crowd and almost every facility.
Everything except location!
The location is very good and the staff is really nice! They will tell you the ins and the outs from the city! And the trip to Howth is brilliant :) I am looking forward to staying again!
I had to walk trough the whole hostel to find my room and the toilet was quite far a way. But hey who complains about some extra miles... Not me!
wifi, breakfast was included
I had no idea of the sheets were clean, people were sick loud and dirty, facilities were dirty, hard to navigate around
The location of the hostel was excellent. It was in walking distance of almost all the major points of interest. The price of the stay was also very reasonable.
I stayed only one night and i liked everything! Never seen a breakfast so rich like this! And the hostel is very big with many services (like cinema room) i'm very satisfied about this hostel...i would like to return!
Everything was ok!
The location cannot be better. Free breakfast, my 12-bed-room was a good choice. Lockers under every bed, key cards.
Only central light in rooms.
I'm a mature student staying one night a week and my first experience has been surprisingly good: the Hostel is clean, the matteress is firm and comfortable, the staff are welcoming. efficient and courteous.
Bunk beds, but then it is budget accommodation.
Nice staff. Free printing, free luggage storage, free breakfast.. GREAT LOCATION!
Great location. Good amount of staff to deal with things that need to be dealt with. Quite clean
a very good place to meet people from everywhere the staff is very kind the house is a crazy labyrinth where you have to loose yourself...
