Score from 748 reviews Good
showers on my floor were broken and the heating system they use in the showers were not useful. I could only watch my hair in tap during my stay.
the building is literally a maze but it's actually fun. location cannot be better, it's exactly at the heart of Dublin. there were maybe more than 20 people at my room but the room was big and people were respectful. wifi signal is strong.
Its a good hostel, but not that good for solo travelers, because people come in large groups. Best part of the hostel: Cute tattooed guy from reception desk
The toilet was far from the room and it was often engaged.
The staff were very friendly. The room and the bed was comfortable enough.
Good kitchen, staff
The owner is the most rud person I have meet in my whole life nad shouldnt be allowed to run hostels
1) Not enough of electrical outlets. 1) Недостаточно электрических розеток.
1) Great location - right in the center of the city; 2) Friendly personel - really nice people, helped me a lot; 3) Big kitchen and a diner room - enough place to make food and to eat; 4) Showers and toilets - clean enough; 5) Breakfast - it's free!
Never stay there again way to expensive for a hostel it's a total rip of
It hosts a lot of people. Great if you're a solo traveler trying to meet people, but not exactly quiet and peaceful.
Location was perfect! walking distance from the bus station, airport transportation, and major sights.
The room didn't have a sink & bathrooms were a bit of a distance from the room, even if its not en-suite but a mall or average sink will do & more cloth hangers facilities.
Great location, friendly staff & its easy to meet other tourist. I made friends with a few people.
I had the chance to meet people from diffwrent countries. I liked the hammok room and the paintings on the walls and doors. I also enjoyed the walking tour.
Wifi was terrible, poor coverage throughout the local. On a more personal reason, long term residents were terrible roomates. I was in a large shared female dorm, and was often awoken by long term residents taking calls in the middle of the night or talking amongst one another. I know they were long term because they made it know that we (short term stayers) were in their space and affecting the fluidity of their normal lives in Dublin.
Liked the staff and great location.
The location of the hostel is just great, the staff was friendly and helpful (24/7), the rooms were clean, free WLAN, breakfast included, reasonable price, ... need I say more? ;)
I've seen that many people like this hostel a lot, but it's not the kind of place I would stay again. It was too big, felt like a labyrinth, the bathrooms smelled funny and were not very clean. Also, the bed was so hard it took me a long time to fall asleep.
Very central. Wifi worked on my phone, so I was able to communicate. Staff was very friendly! Free breakfast.
Very Slow WiFi signals in the room
Friendly place, felt at ease! Iris was a star!!!!!!!
Charge of 2 euro if you pay with card. Hopefully there is an ATM about 100m away.
Location. Most of the staff is friendly, just a few of them need to improve. Good common areas. Breakfast was okay, it's served after 8am.
Maybe lighting could have been seperate for part of the room as it lit the whole room disturbing others at late time. If u could maybe bring washing machine and ironing facilities that would be really good. Overall I have nothing to say against but these are suggestions which I'm making for the hotel to improve.
Staff were soooo nice and so respectful and kind in towards helping with with any matters I had even though they were not related to the hotel. They offered me many ideas and were overall great staff.
16 beds is not something I want to do again, they give you a bed number but if you are arriving late everyone is asleep so what are you supposed to do (tried to find the bed number but was waking up people so just crawled into the nearest open one!) many turns and hallways.
I liked the location. It was close to the tour I was meeting in the morning. I liked the guys at the front desk, as they were friendly and made you feel welcome. The free wifi was of course very nice!
Tried two showers, one was not working and the other only had icy cold water. The staff did not help on the matter. 25 EUR for a place in a 28 beds dorm with no shower is not reasonable.
I did not particualy like the breakfast. But fortunately there is a Starbucks around the corner...
great atmospheer, there are awesome graffiti drawings all over the place. At the reception you can borrow a hair dryer or straightener (superb). I have met a lot of great people in the hostel and the staff was really nice and awesome :)
Do not like how there is only stairs there are no lifts. But if u ask the staff nicely they help you with your bags. The 6 dorms in the second building are small.
I liked the facilities and also how clean everything was. Felt safe as there are multiple security doors. Toilets flushed and the showers was good, at one time I had the whole room for my self for like a night and I felt like I had my own ensuite. Liked how there are multiple bathrooms on each floor. Also the free baggage rooms is so handy !!! Wifi connection is fantastic !
Breakfast was so good and the staff so helpful!
I expected to have a clean bed. Beds in my view are not exchanged after someone using the bed. for sure Others hostel provides clean clothes bed at checking in. This in my view is bad.
People working there are friendly. ...
The staff is the worst in the world , horror , rude , nervous ....
Good location and content of the hostel ...
The hostel was really nice, frendly people
