Score from 538 reviews Good
Decent free breakfast included. Good location
A bit on the pricey side Lots of stairs Had a real bad snorer in the room
location is great
was to hot in the room and alot of noises from main street+ thick walls you can here others talk on halls
This place was absolutely disgusting. There was a guy beating off on the stairs. There were 50 year old men sleeping in the room mixed with girls. There were 40 beds to one room and it smelled (no windows). People LIVED there for years, no joke. SO GROSS
Location, cleanliness, facilities, clientèle.
Reception could do with a facelift. Smell of dope outside!!
EASY ACCESS TO THE AREA WHERE EVER U LIKE TO GO. The employees were very helpful and did their best help.
SO MANY KIDS IN AND OUT.
You can have better value for your money. Just check the other hostels around.
The other guests, they were annoying. About the hostel, they cover well the bad things with cool things for the young, like graffiti walls.
Excellent Hostel, excellent location right in the city centre couldn't ask for better. Only stayed one night as I was only in Dublin for one night but could have happily stayed longer. If you're in Dublin on a budget then this is the place to stay.
the idea of a mixed room shared by both men and women is absurd.
I liked the availability of the computer and free Wi-Fi facilities. I also liked the cleanliness of the environment and the good bed arrangements in the dorms.
I did not like the kitchen services. There were no varieties of food to select from. The kitchen staff are not hygienic enough in handling the food. They use bare hands to serve toast bread into the tray. Their approach to me a first time visitor to the kitchen was rude and very unwelcoming. I was talked to rudely because I missed my way in the kitchen. They need to be more polite to everyone irrespective of shape, size or colour. I will avoid the kitchen on my next visit for these very reasons.
Friendly, welcoming, accommodating staff. They take pride in the place - especially the Activities Director - I was impressed by his dedication. He put a lot of creativity into making it fun & always offering extra value. Great variety of places to hang out - quiet study if you need to work, fun common area for either work or meeting people, nice showers, bathrooms are clean & always stocked. Cheerful, relaxed, comfortable environment. I enjoyed my stay!
There's definitely the "party hostel" aspect here, which would be fun if you were doing that . . . for me since I had to work, that made it hard to sleep. Having said that . . . what can I expect, trying to work at a hostel? It's a risk I knew I was taking when I signed up ; )
It was loud from the streets, no isolated windows. Food was weak.
Friendly staff always on hand to answer queries. Clean and comfortable.
You can stay in the very nice location for sightseeing in Dublin with cheap cost.
There were a lot of young traveller during summer season. It was noisy.
I didn't feel safe with the other people staying there. I also don't like the lack of security and how easy it is to get into the hostel.
Very helpful staff, good breakfast, good location
No parking facility other than expensive carparks. Noisy dorm doors. Too many stairs for elderly legs!
Location Facilities Friendly staff
Excellent accommodation, close to everything, the staff were really nice and helpful!
Convenient location in the heart of Dublin.
Very large dormitory rooms which can be noisy at night - bring ear plugs.
Staff were friendly polite and helpful. Nothing was a problem
I chose to stay in the dorm but the disrespect of people coming in really late. I know this is something that cannot be controlled by staff
the location of the hostel is excellent and also the reception guy Reggie really helps us a lot.He really aproach our problems with a lot of solutions and that was very nice we appreciated that.Hostel is clean, nicely located
very crowded and sometimes they should choose their customers a little bit wiser
Great location in the centre. Breakfast included, not the biggest but all you need. Cheap prices and commonareas with kitchen, computers and so on.
Not the most up to date hostel. Some things missing and broken but nothing that really affects the stay. No lamp at the bed, only the one in the ceiling.
I had a wonderful time, people were nice and I could walk to wherever I wanted to go in no time :) breakfast was good, and the facilities were better than you could expect at such a low price, in fortunately wifi wasn't available in your room, but they did have a great area for it. Impressed and will return.
The place is comfortable and the staff are friendly!!!
The internet don't work in all places and specially don't work inside of the room.
I alwaysuse this hostel whilst visiting Dublin. Its has everything you need.
I couldn't load the WIFI with repeated attempts as other guests could ok I thinkbit must have been my phone.
