The staff were very helpful. Ideal location to stop off between Dublin and Cork
Room was a little dated.
Friendly helpful staff. Swimming Pool
Spacious hotel. Nice interior theme. Lovely bar staff and food. Pool was fabulous. Lovely car park!
Games room was unclean. Could have more pillows on the bed.
Friendly & Courteous Staff, Spacious Room & very clean Hotel
The room was great and the Spa and pool brilliant. Food was excellent
No net curtain up to the window which meant you had to draw the curtains to change.
Service, staff, food.
A wedding in the hotel was a bit noisy.
Staff in restaurant were very helpful when I arrived with my 5 month old baby.
Travel cot for baby was very hard so he found it hard to sleep in.
The room was huge and lovely The outside of the hotel is also beautiful Shared a bottle of wine in the bar at a very reasonable price overall a good experience with really comfortable beds and good nights sleep
There was nothing that I did not like
I booked a double room and was more than happy with the size of the room and bathroom
The rooms are a little dated and in need of some updating
staff were excellent food was very nice and good value
carpet could do with been cleaned in bedroom splash of paint would do no harm bedroom was over bar and for familly room noise from music on sat night could lead to kids not getting to sleep untill late otherwise you can not hear any noise from bar
Really liked these lodges, suited us perfectly for a stop over, with three young children. Good value compared to two hotel rooms. Very spacious, clean and well equipped.
Wifi didn't work in lodges.
the leisure facilities the dining experience the staff in the bar area the cleanliness of lodge facilities of lodge
nothing, it was a great holiday
Spacious rooms Cleanliness Close to hotel Decor
No internet Need washing up liquid or dish washer tablets
Nice hotel, really comfy bed and good cleanliness
Staff that looked miserable all the time, smile costs nothing! One waitress in particular Jean was very unfriendly and snotty to be honest ruined my whole stay. Also booked a particular table for dinner at reception and never got the table I booked
Sadly, the pool has become too busy, apparently because another local pool has closed.Food standard has dropped somewhat
Very Good hotel. Strolling distance to town centre. No complaints
The location was perfect. Very short walk to the town centre.
The decor is a little dated. Could do with mordernising.
As we have family in the area the location was ideal. We had 5 different families staying at the hotel and we all had a great experience all around and the cost was phenomenally affordable. We went to the The Derg for some fantastic traditional music one night and to Limerick for a river cruise and lunch another day. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there were several weddings while we were there, one to which we ended up being invited to even though we didn't know the couple :) Highly recommend the Abbey Court!
lack of staff in restaurant, messy, because three girls couldnt do evedrything possible, food 3 out of five
We were in a group of 20 for a family weekend break, ranging in age from 2 to 92. The staff were very friendly and helpful, food was excellent and great value for money. The facilities were fantastic and we had a lovely weekend, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to be back!
Lack of enterement .
Very friendly staff and good choice of foods for breakfast and dinner. Everything I had was delicious. Comfortable room and beautiful gardens. Old wordly charm with comfortable foyer area to sit and read. They dealt with my daughters nut allergy with ease and she felt comfortable eating there. I definitely would go back.
A couple of times my food order was messed up e.g I ordered sausage and egg for breakfast and was brought rashers and egg. Having said that it didn't ruin my stay.
The accommodation for one night stay was great value for money. Also the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food and drinks were quite expensive in the bar. Also some of the bar staff were very unfriendly.
The staff could not have been more efficient or helpful. It was a pleasure to stay.
Excellent venue, comfortable.
Food little better than bar food. Chef refused to cook my burger the way I asked. I changed my order to a rare steak. It came well done. I gave up!
