We booked this hotel mainly because of the cheap price, and in that sense we shouldn't have been surprised. It is hidden in an old, normal family house, and the rooms were halfheartedly turned into hotel rooms. Small, not very tidy, ill equipped. Horrible breakfast, and an obtrusive host.
Hotel is not operated at all. But they told that they will provide another. And provided cheaper hotel like Mapple hotel, charging you The same price. A lot of music, you couldn't sleep.
Everything..shoved into an attic room where it was difficult to stand..awful value for money..this place is a kip.
Room was freezing
Got there late so just straight to bed
I had trouble connecting to their wifi. The location was a bit out of the way for most attractions, shops, and restaurants.
Helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The facilities were clean, warm, and comfortable.
This hotel was fantastic value for money, the owner very friendly and hospitable. Comfy and clean room, the breakfast huge and delicious. You can walk into city centre within 20 minutes which suited us fine. Would stay here again.
staff wasn't very helpful. felt very uncomfortable. They woke us up at 9 and told us to eat the breakfast even though it was served up until 10. There was no mirror in the room. I forgot my jacket and he did not ring to let me know and would not answer the door when i returned so i had to ring owner to come and let me in.
- badly soundproofed - lack of privacy, owner knocked at the roomdoor in the evening of arrival and again next morning at 8 a.m, still don't know what he wanted.. - floor behind the bed definitely wasn't hoovered - toilet looked provisory, there was a container behind it with water - not close to the city centre, but I knew before booking
- big bed in the single room - modern bathroom/shower - tea/coffee provided - free WiFi
no hot water the last day (just one night)
Hospitality, really clean, near bus, 15 minutes walk to the city centre.
Unprofessional staff. Not worth what we paid. could not sleep with the noise. Hated the place.
Cosy and clean in a quiet area. Friendly staff.
Two taps type of the sink Mould in the bathroom Ceiling above the shower cabin is about to fall in Very small room, TV on a top corner Noisy (could hear neighbours) Imposible to reach the place over the phone Poor WiFi
In my opinion the single room was too expensive
We have stayed here with two occasions. The house is in a quiet street which is close to the city center. Moreover, the house is close to the bus station on the line between city center and Dublin Airport. Our guest, Sumon, was friendly and eager to help. Because we had a late flight he stored our stored our luggages and we enjoy the day in Dublin. Overall, great value for money we paid and definitely we will book again next time when visiting Dublin.
The location is in a quiet part of the city not far from the city center. It is also close to the bus route between city center and Dublin airport. The breakfast was very good. The WiFi worked at a high standard. The guest, Sumon, was friendly and eager to help. As a conclusion, great value for the money we paid.
Quite hard to find and to check in was difficult (nobody there)
Nice room and good value for money
small bed for two adults, small bathroom for one, very noisey shower and poor spray, water quantity, cleaner argued loudly with owner when booking in, breakfast plates still out at 3pm. Owner seemed shocked at the price we paid
B and B done exactly what it said on tin. Cheap and cheerful
The upper room with was cold, the heating system was not working. But it was a nice room except the heating issue. All other rooms are excellent.
Clean home, quiet environment, very comfortable. money for value. the staff are very nice people. caring and accommodating. Always look for solution into your queries.
Great service! Nice place, clean, coffee and tea available at the room. Train station and several bus stops nearby.
There was only one guy who dealt with us. He hardly understood in english what made everything a little bit more complicated. In the morning he was late with the breakfast and took way too long to get it ready for us (30-40min.)
However the room was quite small, but we got everything we needed. It was perfectly clean i couldnt have wished better. It was really warm in the room, the matress was compfortable and smelled really fresh. We got english breakfast and the food was up to standard. The B&B was located in walking distance from the city centre(10min.)
Affordability Staff Service and hospitality Great access to the city centre and other points Cracking breakfast
It is a one way street so if you drive you need to loop a little, room was a bit on a small side and right beside the main door, but thankfully all got quiet by 11pm and it didn't really bother us.
Location was perfect for us, room was comfortable, breakfast was modest but tasty, perfectly sufficient for us. Staff were also very nice and helpful.
The toilet plugged the last Day, but stuff like that is fixable ;)
A friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast and the location is two minutes from the busstop to the city, takes max 10 min. to get there
