Warm welcome from reception staff. Room was comfortable, clean and warm. Tea /coffee making facilites in the room were ideal as I arrived late. Terrific breakfast. A flannel or face cloth would have been useful to include in the towel pile as I came without mine.

La gentillesse du gardien de nuit. The night staff was really helpful. The room had not been cleaned, we had to change rooms upon arrival at night. Early breakfast before 8:30 am is only ... toasts, even if the cook is there cooking bacon : not possible to get a slice, wait for 8:30!

Value for money. Staff excellent and very helpful. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served from 08:30, which is too late!!! for for most people who are working or traveling. The last two time we stayed, we had to leave, without breakfast because we have to start work at 09:00am. Staff were very polite, but under pressure to rush around and try to serve everyone at once.

Good location, ideal for the airport bus, good fried breakfast. The guesthouse needs completely redecorated and after reading the rewiews from previous months i assumed the showers would have been fixed but unfortunatley we had to suffer cold showers too.

Proximity to the city center. Probably not that expensive (180 euro for two for two night) as this is well located in the city center, but really disapointed anyway. Quite noisy room - because of the street view. Furnitures and facility quite old. Shower was not working properly, so it was difficult to have a warm shower.

Nothing Everything. The reception man seemed nice but instead of 340 something, we paid 360 something. We made reservation for a twin room and received a double bed and a single one. No window. Smelly and very, very dirty. I still don't know if I am perfectly healthy after our visit there. The duvet cover was never washed it was dirty with all kind of stains and smelly. It was dust everywhere, we cleaned the wardrobe before using it. TV-same age with me, with no remote and 3 channels. No wifi, even we will see that the place is advertised as fully covered. If you want wifi you have to stay in the lobby where is never a place to place your notebook. We brought a mobile broadband from Vodafone in order to have Internet in the room. No shower gel, 2 disgusting soaps for 5 days. The women from cleaning were knocking the door asking if we want the towels changed. The third day, I asked them to do our room. That meant to take the trash from the room and from the bathroom and to change the towels. Nothing else!!! Oh, I forgot: they put instant coffee and tea and milk for coffee three times in 5 days. I don't want to remember about the bathroom: I can throw up instantly. The toilet was not flushing and the water could not get out from the shower box. While taking a shower the water was above your ankles. The sink was disgusting, you could remainings from the previous guests in there. The smell from the bathroom was unbearable. The forth and fifth day we didn't remained in the room more than 2 hours in total. It was the worst and disgusting experience I had ever had in my life. The price was more than 70 euros per night!!!!! Do not stay there, under no circumstances!!! Avoid this place, it will be in your own interest!!! But if you are there and they offer you room 105, simply ask to change it. It will be the worst nightmare you ever had! Save yourselves from this!!!

friendly welcome good breakfast comfortable pillows and duvet heating good very cramped double room- no chairs- no space to sit- the sort of room one only wanted to sleep in. Dirty window sills, grubby wall, TV & remote. Every single bedspring in the very old mattress could be felt. No bath mat.

I didn't expect to find anything close to the price we paid right in the middle of city centre so when we found Abbott lodge we didn't hesitate - it was literally 5-7minutes walking distance to the O'Connel Street and about 15-20min to the Temple Bar meaning that we didn't have to get a bus or taxi back at all. The airlink bus stops just outside the hotel so it very easy to get there. The reception is open 24h so no matter what time you come in - you'll be let in. The breakfast served was cold. The windows in the room were letting in a lot of cold air so we used out window setting as a fridge. Couldn't get warm water in the sink without intervention. Heating doesn't work.

The man who was standing on the reception was really kind and nice to us. Cost was really cheap. Roomy place and high ceiling. Very central location. I can recommend to stay here for who is looking for budget hotel with a reasonable quality. A bit cold but it's ok. Hard to manage hot water in the bath.

Simple budget hotel, basic, clean, warm and comfortable. Great value for money, we asked for a quiet room and were given a spacious triple. Breakfast was made to order with a selection of cereals and option of full irish breakfast which we didn't avail of being non-meat eaters but we were given extra toast so that was great. Good value for money Not a complaint but they only offered fried or scrambled egg and would not do boiled eggs :/ I found that strange.

On arrival and for the first 3 nights of my stay the room was very clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good and the staff were friendly. The wifi was not working for most of my stay and the person in reception didn't seem too inclined to do anything about it when I brought it to his attention. On my last day in the hotel I woke up in the morning covered in bites from bed bugs. I would not stay here again.

the complimentary irish breakfast was great - although i gained an extra kilo or two after my 10 day stay, we changed rooms twice, the first room which was a double bed ensuite was really too small and was facing the main street - so it was also abit noisy. we voiced our concern to the reception and he immediately changed our room to a bigger room on the back of the building - which we thought was great. on our third night, we had another couple staying in the room next to us, and they were extremely loud, vulgar and fighting till 2 am. so we complained again the next morning. the manager gave us yet another bigger and better room. which in my opinion was a great room! 110 - two double beds, spacious bathroom, closet and very cute. from my experience i can say that some rooms are really nice, but some are not. staff was very friendly and changed our room as i previously explained - however it was January ( not very busy). on the whole i good budget friendly guest house.

the staff were excellent and very considerate that I was a woman alone. My room was clean quiet, comfortable and great value for money. the only thing I would change would be to move breakfast half an hour earlier as an 8.30 start meant I had to rush to get to my course for 9.30
