We liked the Abbott Lodge Guesthouse because of its location. A few things were missing in the room, we had a wake-up call at 5H30 in the morning which we never requested. |

Staff was helpful and hotel had a good location. Hotel room was on a main throughfare and was loud. Shower was too small. TV was extremely limited in number of shows. Room was cramped and one must live out of suitcase There is no safe, no elevator. For 99E it is overpriced. We stayed there for one night on way to Italy and on way back. First time we had an interior room that was more quiet, not so second time. |

Good location, close to city centre etc.Close We arrived at 10am and were able to go straight into our room which was very useful seeing as we did not think we would be able to check in until 2pm. Clean room, breakfast service was good. 24hour reception was useful. The rooms at the front were very noisy due to traffic and being on a main road. |

Close to the sites in downtown Dublin and to the train station The heat was only accessible thru the front desk, the blower dryer had no power. Hallway was slightly noisy. |

We stayed at the guesthouse, as it was near places of interest. Also it was fairly near the bus station, as we were arriving by bus, from the airport. Breakfast was good. The room was right at the top, so a good climb of stairs. The window, in the room, needed some attention, as was drafty and noisy from outside traffic, but as we were out all day, it wasnt too much of a problem. A little expensive. |

very central to the city centre. Staff very helpful. They were not flexible about breakfast. 8.30 am is late for people on a city break who are ctaching early flights. |

close to bus station and town centre. Friendly staff. clean place. showers in the rooms (as I stayed in 2 different rooms) do not drain quickly enough. This appears to be a common problem and you end up standing in a puddle of water ! Though the website says otherwise, phone facilities are not there in all rooms. |

Location, location, location. Two blocks from City Centre bus stop and easy walk to Temple Bar and other areas of interest. Clean rooms with the basics provided. Good overall value for an otherwise expensive City. No elevator - hike to 3rd floor a bitch even for fit adult. I pity the old folks sent to the top. Breakfast service not provided until 8:30? If you have any a.m. flight or want to get out early this is way too late. How about 7 or at leat 7:30? |

Location and the breakfast and service for breakfast was very good. Hotel was more of a youth hostel. No elevators, lots of stairs. Windows would not open. Not very clean. |

There was one person working at the desk that was particularly helpful. I can't remember his name though. The breakfast was good. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom needed a little mold removal. |

The cuteness of the rooms, good breakfast, hot showers... A little dirty (window sills, hair in the shower) |
