The location was good for the city bike rental and being close to the main road.
The window to the room couldn't seal properly so we were able to hear all the cars passing by and any noise from outside. It also created a small draft. The springs in the bed were easily felt and the comforter had a maroon stain, possibly blood or wine (I hope). Staff require you to leave your room key at the first desk each time you leave the builidng, which was uncomfortable. Also they need buzz you in and out of the guesthouse.
Dirty smelly ensuite, dirty bed
Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful.
Wifi connection was not up to standard. Wifi did not work for most of the time stayed.
Staff was willing to work for you
The wifi has an awful connection on the 2nd floor.
I've stayed a number of times an this time was the only time I had a complaint !!
My heating did not work and the electricity socket blew, resulting in breaking my phone charger and no TV or Kettle !!!!:(
Staff was extremely nice, great spacious room. Great shower.warm
good value ,great location.
streetnoise only dislike .
The wifi had good strength from inside the room.
There was a pigeon near the window making noise almost all the time.
It was a nice bed and good wi-fi
The windows were single glazed, so you could hear the traffic outside all night. The window latch was broken so the window could not be completely shut so more noise came in from outside
Loved the area, such helpful and patient staff, very comfortable rooms.
Value for money, nice breakfast.
Alot of stairs for heavy luggage.
Good location, staff very frendly and rooms spotless. Great value for money. Definately stay again
Beds were comfy. Was close to all the nightlife areas. It was easy to find, right around the corner from the bus station. Even had a cable TV.
broken tiles on bathroom floor Room very cold Noise from traffic outside No hairdryer
The staff cleaned my room every day
It was very noisy, the window didn't close properly and I was hearing everything happening on the street, hardly had any sleep. The wifi was very slow
Room was cold only a light quilt on the bed in november and no heating. Terrible smell from bathroom of sewerage. And the bathroom ceiling was manky.
Large room and clean beds. Hairdryer available at the room. Confortable accomodation.
Bad Wi-Fi conexion. Very noisy, I could hear the boys at the next room through the old and broken wooden doors. Room at the top floor (like a 6th floor) with no lift!! Only the personal could manage the heating and a couple of nights I got almost frozen even after ask them to switch it on.
Location is very good. Not far from center, so it is easy to reach everything and not noisy. Very close to airport bus station. Good helpful staff.
There was no hot water in shower (warm but not enough).
The team at the reception was quite nice, the room was more than enough for a business trip and we walked pretty much everywhere from the hotel.
The windows are terrible in shutting down the noise from outside and the walls also let every noise from the other rooms come in… The wi-fi didn't work very well either.
We were supposed to be checking in at 3pm but our boat had been cancelled so we had to take an earlier one. We arrived at the hotel at 7am thinking we could just drop our bags, however on learning that we had no sleep offered us a room straight away. Excellent service.
Location & staff. Modern bathroom
No wi-fi - No food - 5 flights of stairs to the top, the last staircase narrowed significantly. Bedside cabinets were scratched & done in. Smallest of tv. Price too high for not being modernised (example: this cost £80 for 2 people whilst North Star round he corner would have been £40 each if I would of had a 3rd person)
comfortable bed central location near the tram line easy access to museums shops and pubs
Nothing it was good
The location was convenient for central Dublin and all attractions. The family room was huge and reasonably clean.
Could hardly sleep as our room was near reception and every time anyone walked past it felt like the floor was gonna come through and the front door beeped loudly. Also advertised breakfast but there isn't any!!!!!!
John the owner is a fellow west belfastian living in Bunbeg for over 30 years. The reception myself and the wife received was 1st class. The accommodation is excellent and spotless. Being a family run business you are made to feel welcome throughout your stay. I completed the Dublin marathon this week on bank holiday Monday. 2 nights stay here in peaceful location and surroundings was just what the doctor ordered. A great wee place to recuperate and recharge the batteries. Breakfast is excellent. We wish John and his family all the Georgie Best with their new restaurant. Will Defo be back and will surely recommend to all.
Price very good. All room facilities very good (inc hair dryer)
Third floor - no lift
