A great place. The booking experience through booking.com was so effortless I was afraid there would be a problem. It was awesome. We'd highly recommend Aberdeen Lodge. Their attention to detail was delightful. We stayed 6 days.

Perfect location, close to the city centre of Dublin, but far enough away to feel like in the suburbs. Personal service with owners and great breakfast. All was perfect. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

Fantastically friendly staff & owner. Great room. Great breakfast, and lovely service all round. A little out of the centre of town, so 15 minute train needed. Makes it nice and quiet though.

The rooms are neat and clean. Very friendly staff, beautiful and cozy decration. Nice breakfast and lots of choices. The location is not very convenient. No nearby public transportation. Closest bus stop is about 15 minutes walking.

Our stay at Aberdeen Lodge was fantastic! Such a friendly staff, clean and well appointed rooms and a great breakfast. Located in the lovely village of Sandymount, we fell in love with the area (only 3 blocks or so from the Irish Sea). It is also a short and nice walk to the DART station for connections into the city centre. It was everything we hoped for and more!

Good quiet location with the nearby Dart taking 10 minutes into the centre of Dublin. The nearby village is within walking distance and has several shops and good restaurants. Our room was comfortable apart from the noise coming from the floorboards of the room above. The breakfasts were excellent, the staff helpful and the car parking convenient.

A somewhat old-fashioned, but excellently run hotel in a quiet suburban location of Dublin, with good light rail connections to the centre and good restaurants on a walking distance. We liked the impeccable service, the tea or coffee facilities at any time and the very varied breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. There were no complaints.

We really liked the location which is in a quiet upscale neighborhood only a few blocks from the beach walk along Dublin Bay, is close to both rapid transit and bus transportation and had its own neighborhood shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the owner-host added a personal touch to the very comfortable ambiance.

A nice homely atmosphere Our room was right at the top of the house and I struggle with stairs and expected a lift, so was a struggle for me climbing the stairs.. Very qiet hotel, no facilities,more like a a b&B.. Would have like a seperate walk in shower and tea/ coffee facilities in room although they were available from room service free.. Ideal if you are just looking somewhere to sleep and have breakfast, bit too qiet for us..
