The location The rooms are not crowded with beds. In another hostel they could easily fit in another one in my room (female for 8). The bathroom we had in the room was fine. The elevator was working. The breakfast is fairly okay. WiFi is not really fast upstairs but fine.
They offer places for groups of schoolers, students, so sometimes it's even hard to get into reception when they are checking-in such groups. And probably unlucky are those who get with parts of such groups in one room. The hostel also attracts people of different age, so you might not end up in a student atmosphere type of a hostel, just fyi. There were no lockers inside the room. I don't bring anything valuable with me but still for someone it might not be great.
included breakfast lifts that work security system comfortable bunks value location
Price Location facilities Breakfast included cleanliness
proximity to major tourist sites and tourist office.
the kitchen was closed during the times i needed to use it. here were times in the evening when the kitchen was inaccessible and no options were made available. the bathroom could also be cleaner with drainage so that the floor is not always wet...
location was close to buses and downtown the front end staff were excellent very helpful .breakfast was better than most
packing my sheets up to the room with all my bags and parcels this was a nuisance
kitchen is big and available
some drunk guests
Best location ever. Everything you can imagine is really near, just around the corner.
The bathroom and the sheets were not clean enough.
Location, breakfast, storage facility, availability of sockets
Thin pillow, staff not helpful, noisy at night
Liked the fact that there was a free breakfast the next morning. It wasnt a luxury breakfast or anything but for what your paying its decent and enjoyable.
Found maybe the check out was too early at 10.30am. Being with a group of friends who had a lock of drinks the night before waking up to get sorted wasnt great with the heads.
Wifi was great. Each bed had it's own light and 2 electrical outlets.
Rooms on the street had a great view but it could be very noisy at night.
Friendly staff, excellent location
The location and price! Breakfast was good. Good security? I have never stayed in a hostel and was not sure what to expect. The guys at the desk were great and patient with this old lady! Room mates were nice and considerate.
New People arriving after I was asleep. Spooky to wake up to strangers. Sink did not drain well. Reported but not fixed! Screaming and yelling in middle of the night! The lockers were expensive and asked for money when I went in or out!
Clean, comfortable, well-maintained, a lot of space & facilities.
Excellent location round the corner from temple bar district. Friendly staff and clean. Would go back again.
Can be noisy which was ok for us but might not be for everyone.
Lack of sleep
friendly staff, one street from Tempel bar, towels for 1€, USB at every bed.
floor was wet in front of the shower (approx. 4sqm, but former guests are probably to blame) showers didn't have a space to lay or hang clothes. expect noise from street outside - but I slept well.
- keith at reception. he was so helpful. - location - bunk beds are equipped with lights and plugs
- room was dirty. i found earplugs on the shelf of my bed and other stuff - the carpet is very dirty. the cleaner hoovered it for about 8 seconds before she moved on to the next room - bathroom was dirty and didnt have a fan - plates and cups for breaksfast were dirty
Great location. Very safe and nice hostel. Kieron and Mason at the reception were very helpfull and assertive. I have never stayed in a hostel before so definitely felt very comfortable after Kieron and Mason gave me pieces of information on how to get to the airoport. dublin sightseeings, hostel facilities...Very nice atmosphere.Temple bar is 5 mins walk. Wifi is great. Thanks !
Position, huge breakfast, ensuite bathroom, clean bedlinen
Hard-boiled eggs and toast and filter coffee for breakfast (free), great location on Quays by bus stop and excellent WiFi - especially like the bedside mains/USB charger and light. Modern/clean open-plan communal space with comfy sofa's, Sky on TV and books to read. Lock ups are extra.
Bunk beds! Small, noisy and not very comfortable. No towels provided, can be a little noisy by river-side. Make your own bed and drop off in the morning. Lots of stairs. Not a real problem for most.
Great location, just few minutes from the Temple bar area, but much more quite. Good value for money, stuff is helpful.
A bathroom is quite small, but ok. The breakfast is really basic (toasts, eggs, cereals). But overall the hostel is good.
Location in dublin was great
Speed of check in. Located in a fantastic location and close to everything.
Snooty little recepionist who gave the aura that she really didnt want to be there, seemed to take it for granted that everyone knew what to do, also she never once looked up from the computer moniter whilst talking to clients, the rest of the staff were great. This young lady ( with black glasses ) should really decide if she wants to be in the hospitality business as currently she is no asset to Abigails at all. Breakfast is as basic as it gets.
The room was spacious though small but the six of us had fit well. The breakfast procedure was very good, with a variety of items to choose from and enough space on tables or sofas.
The bathroom was a bit small
