my first time too stay here ,and as a solo traveller i found this hostel very welcoming, great breakfast..will deffo stay again
location, friendly and helpful staff
sleeping in the top bunk, I had asked for a lower one. I wasn´t fit enough to get up and down with comfort... I am well over 60.
The location was perfect
Shower was sometimes cold
Big kitchen, good breakfast, good location.
Wifi is overloaded. It is too many people use it. You should make up your bed yourself.
Decent location, 10 minutes from Temple Bar, closer to airport than many cheap hostels, have a cheap shuttle from the hostel to the airport.
The place is a labyrinth inside, but it's marked out with signs well.
The price was good, breakfast was Ok, our room had bathroom which was handy, I recommend it and I will go myself next time if I wanna stay one or two nights in beautiful Dublin with same price as before :)
No elevators in the building
Handy to get to and from the airport, the airline 747 bus stops right outside, easy access to anywhere with heaps of buses! Had a 3bed private ensure, was very basic, not the most comfortable for what we paid. Breakfast was cereal or toast
Staff unable to help and didn't seem to care that I had to struggle up so many stairs, my back is killing from this trip and it's all down to this place, should have a lift
1) good location 2) fair price
1) the pantry is not clean 2) no cooking allowed after 9:30pm! it's too early! 3) better to have laundry facilities
The beds were amazing, the matrass is very comfortable, you have 2 plugs and 2 USB ports to your bed too. I really loved this hotel, and it has an excellent location as well.
Helpful staff, everything simple but clean and functional. Friendly atmosphere everywhere.
Wifi did not work in our room on the third floor.
I stayed in Abraham House some years ago and was not impressed. This time I was very much impressed with the standard of Cleanness etc. The breakfast was very good. Price excellent for centre of Dublin.
nothing to complain about
perfect location, not to expensive, clean, simple
a bit noisy
Staff were immediate and able to help
The shower was so clogged that it over flowed every time we took a shower. It was gross.
I really liked the work from the réception especially during the night i think it was someone called driss he was very friendly , efficient and helpful i think it is important to have someone like him at the réception i felt really safe and also the cleaning team is very pleasant and less stressful than in abigails they do a Great job for me Abraham house is Just the best hostel in Dublin !!!!
The environment, the breakfast,... If I go back to Dublin this is the place I'll choose! Highly recommend
You don't need more as a base camp, just for sleep there at night, en enjoy Dublin the whole day and evening.
Nothing more than absolutely needed.
Good value, decent breakfast spread.
Not the highest quality hostel in the city, but does get the job done - and it stays on top of cleanliness.
Staff very helpful with queries and were very knowledgeable about the area.
Some serious maintenance issues in the room spoilt the stay: there was damp, the lock on the door was faulty, the toilet seat didn't fit and the skirting board fell off.
The shared bedroom had it's own bathroom.
The stuff isn't very helpful.
near the Luis and train station, and handy for the airport link busA
no lift, dining room 2 floors away from dorm, mould in toilet, hardly any space between seating on ground floor so difficult to squeeze past with luggage to put in lockers especially when ignorant young men were sprawled out and hardly bothered to move their legs out the way,I requested lower bunk because of mobility issues,a note was put on my bed but when i came in someone was asleep there. i felt bad to wake them and move them but i couldnt climb up to a top bunk so it was upsetting all round.because there was a bad atmosphere after that i was unsettled and even ended up leaving my toiletries bag behind, in the shower,so lost that.Although the hostel was handy for transport I was nervous in the area at night.I wont stay there again.
I think tje breakfast was really good, certainly better than in most of other hostels and you could also use the kitchen anytime you wanted. The other thing I really loved there was, that every bed has two sockets and also two USB plugs....so you could charge wathever you needed to
you needed to pay, if you wanted to use a locker....and if you want to go out every night, that's quite a lot of money
the bathroom is too small it's difficult to open the doors and it makes loud noise when you close the door, so if you are leaving early in the morning you might wake your roommates. most facilities in the hostel are quite old. the kitchen closes too early at 930pm and the dishes are left unwashed. it is rather dirty.
The service was excellent. The staff was very helpful and nice.
