The location was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent.
Although I booked a double room it was very small. Not much space to move about. We had to keep the light on all the time since the room was very dark. We were also looking into a small yard where the air conditioning system was located and the noise from the system was very annoying.
Staff changed us from a twin room to a double room with no issues. Checked in at 10am and room was ready for early entry. Would stay here again
People staying in next room were very loud / partying in room into the late hours. Cannot blame hotel for this tho. Otherwise nil...
Location with friendly staff
Some of the rooms are small
Well located, staff friendly and helpful except for one
Shower didn't work, unfriendliness of one female staff on the night of our arrival. No bath towel.
Clean, tidy and warm. Close to everything in city center. Only a walk away from temple bar, grafton street and henry street. This was a medical trip so it was great that the rooms were quiet and comfortable. We went midweek and it was very good value for money.
No face towels or handwash. Sink would not drain on first use but fixed in 5 mins by a call to reception. Breakfast closed too early (10am) as we are late sleepers. Staff not very welcoming as if couldn't care if we were there or not. The guy who brought us an extra blanket proceeded to argue with us that there was already an extra blanket in the drawers in the room. I had to open it to show him there really wasn't! Totally unneccesary. Girl at checkout: ok you're checked out, bye! No sense of warmth or real customer service/hospitality. You'll find this often in irish hotels sadly
The bed was like sleeping on marshmallows I sunk into it. It was super comfy! Perfect location, just round the corner from O'connell St and Temple Bar. We were within walking distance to everything we needed.
The tv was on the side of the wall in the left hand corner of the room so you couldn't see it from the bed, however this wasn't really an issue as we didn't go away to watch tv. It was just background noise whilst we got ready. The room was a little small but everything else made up for that.
Great stay, free wifi, good location, great breakfasts
Room was very small
Location being near O'Connell Street and Connelly Staion, but still very quiet.
Bed was a bit too bouncy
Excellent hotel overall. Great location, excellent cleanliness, friendly staff. I would surely return and recommend to family and friends.
Tiny single room: small but well-equipped.
The hotel staff were excellent and more than helpful when we needed them. The hotel was very clean and spacious with the room also having a nice modern style bathroom. This hotel is close to everything in Dublin's centre, including where the busses depart to visit other areas of Dublin. All in all this hotel was excellent and I would definitely stay again and recommend others visit.
Perfect central location with Fibber's bar around the corner. Cheap as chips and far better than the Gresham.
Friendly & helpful staff, very convenient when in Dublin. Good breakfast, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Great choice when visiting the Capital.
Menu in bar left a lot to be desired, air con was on cold all the time- we kept our jackets on during dinner!
The breakfast was good and bar area
The fact that I checked in and they gave someone else my room but we didn't know until we entered the room and other peoples cases were in there.
Good breakfast, friendly staff, good location
Just every thing, love the hotel. Would not stay any where, only the Academy, going back in January,
basic breakfast (paid apart) very basic room no Best Western rewards points loaded due to reservation through Booking.com
good location - good food.
room too small and not comfortable especially the bathroom door - room air conditioning was always switched off and therefore when we came back in the evening the room was not comfortable at all - wi-fi needs to be improved
Have stayed here several times before, always delivers, excellent buffet breakfast.
Great breakfast and dinners the staff were extremely helpful. We loved Ireland for their hospitality
Clean, well located hotel at a reasonable cost. The staff were excellent organising flowers and a champagne breakfast. We wanted a reasonably priced well located hotel which was clean and comfortable and that is what we got.
The ambience, helpful and obliging staff. Cleanliness
The only disappointment was the morning we were leaving the hotel we had early breakfast ( 6.am) as had been booked. No one came near us in the dining room. At a certain moment a young man came in from the service door and took a cup of coffee.Didn't come near us to ask if we were ok. Coffee was lukewarm.
perfectly located in walking distance from Dublin city center. Very clean and comfortable room.
