Traditional cottage with a fabulous view. The owner was a lovely friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. Even had baked a Christmas cake and mince pies!!
Room was a bit cold
We loved Margaret! A gracious & lovely host. The closeness to Croagh Patrick, Louisburgh & West Port was most convenient.
We had tea and scones on arrival and the fire was lit. It was lovely and cosy I highly recommend staying here
The host was very lovely and helpful in every case. The breakfast was good.
We didn't like that we booked a triple room but got only a double room with three single beds instead of one double bed and one single bed. Unfortunately the room was a bit damp, too.
margaret was a splendid hostess, couldn't do enough for her guests.
room somewhat on small size
Margaret was most welcoming when we turned up at midday, soaking wet and offered to dry our clothes, making us a hot drink and scones to eat. although the accommodation was a little dated this did not detract from the stay with the excellant breakfast and offer of a pack up for the next day.
unfortunately our bedroom didn't have the Achill View but both the dining room and the lounge did so we were not dissappointed.
Overlooking the sea- very warm welcome- very friendly and nothing too much trouble. comfortable bed, lovely breakfast
Not a complaint, but the bedroom was quite small
