We chose this hotel because it was in proximity to a excursion pickup point.

First of all the staff is rude. In the first night we decided to stay one more night so I go to reception and ask the girl if is possible. She tells me 99 Euro next day then I try to explain that I paid 66 for this room and 99 for the next day is ridiculous and then she made me a offer of 89. I refused and I got to booking.com where we get our first reservation and guess what.. The rooms were available for 69 not 89 not 99. This people are trying to take every penny from you.

The location of the hotel was very good together with the friendly hotel staff.

Our room was on the front of the hotel and was extremely noisy all through out the night with passing traffic and especially the honking of horns together with emptying of bottles into what sounded like a refuse collection in the early hours, ie. 5.00am

Access to Temple Bar District. And City Center. The hotel's bar/nightclub/restaurant and staff eare great. Beautiful decore with lively energy, music and colors. We felt safe and comfortable with our 4 teenagers staying at the hotel with it's 24/7 security at the entrances. The hotel staff are very helpful, courteous and informative. In the 5 days we were there not once was any one of them unpleasant. Thank you!!!

The noise and cold temps in the rooms could be greatly improved with double glass. The TV's are crap.

Very clean, our room was small but cosy and away from the front so it was as quiet as you can get in the city. Much appreciated after a days out and about. Staff were very friendly. Great value for money and location is excellent!

Perfect location for attending concerts at the olympia. Great dinner at good value. Breakfast a little disappointing but overall would stay there again.

Great location in the city centre (2 mins walking to Temple Bar, 4 mins walking to Trinity College), nice room with a posted bed, great traditional Irish breaksfast (or at choice), great value for money

It can be noisy at night because of the location in the city centre and the noise from the hotel's bar at ground floor.

Room was nice and clean. Bed very comfortable.

Key card took three trips to reception to work. Receptionist started out really nice but then became ruder. Room hot during night even though heat was off. Bathroom needs some work.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and delieved with a smile. Comfortable and clean. Comfy Bed.

No car park, cost Me 32euro to park in a shopping centre, very noisey, The girl working The thur evening was not very helpful And would want to work On her customer skills. Lady On Friday morning was lovely

Design was fantastic, location was great - right in the centre of the Temple Bar district. Rooms were lovely, and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

We had a room at the front which was a bit noisy.

Beds, rooms, clean

Bouncers on door where idiots, I left the hotel to go get a bottle of water, arrived back to hotel and had to enter through bar door, bouncer said. &Quot;think you may give it a miss tonight buddy you've had enough.". The dope, I hadnt even had a drink at that point. Apart from that half the people that were in the bar were rif raf.

It was very central in it's location, close to pub's and shops. Opposite trinity college and the wax museam.

There was no private access for residents, we had to wait until someone opened the door to us, we had to wait a while as knocking on the side door didn't always get someone's attention.

Staff were terrific – very friendly and welcoming. City-centre location meant we could walk pretty much anywhere too. Bar attached to hotel was nice, as was the breakfast.

Room itself and bathroom pretty basic for what I paid for it. Have paid less at the more modern, larger chain hotels and got much more up-to- date furnishings/bathroom facilities. (I understand why this is so, but that doesn't change the way I feel about it).

Mary Teresa was wonderful. If I should return to Dublin and stay at the Mercantile it would be because of the service I got form Mary Teresa.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location right in the middle of the night life.

Building is old, cold air blows through closed windows, very noisy in the evenings. Slow Internet connection. Comfort is very basic.
