A friendly welcome & handy city centre location. Adequate tea/coffee making facilities. A very dark hotel. Even the bedroom was exceptionally dark. It was impossible to read with no overhead light & only 3 tiny lamps with dark red shades. Reading would only have bben possible in the bathroom or under the overhead light just inside the main door! Handles were broken off 2 drawers & just left inside the drawer. On a Sunday night, the street outside was very noisy thru half the early morning, what with other bars & hotels nearby and a taxi-rank just outside. Buses pulling up outside sounded like aircraft landing, when trying to sleep overhead! Bring earplugs!!

The bed was lovely and big, queen size. It was quiet as we had a room at the side of the hotel. Hotel receptionist was lovely and helpful. Spot on location especially for gay destinations. Lighting in room was very poor, chests of drawers were smelly and handles were broken so awkward to open. Bathroom very dated. Our glasses were never cleaned so had dirty drinking glasses.

Location to central Dublin and the convenience of a bar and restaurant attached to hotel for short stayers. Great location if you are going to 'party' in Dublin Booking.com advised that the room would contain either a queen or king bed and a hair dryer as standard. The room contained neither a queen/king bed or a hairdryer and only had a small double bed. Way too small for mature adults. Food in the restaurant was tasty but needed to be served hotter. The breakfast was nothing special and service would have been if we were asked if jwe wanted juice or tea/coffee

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was situated close to where we were going (Olympia). The room was comfortable and good value for money. We will stay here again in the future.

This hotel was perfect! Its in a perfect location right in the Temple Bar Area and within short walking distance to all the sights in Dublin. The breakfast in the morning always hit the spot and a very friendly staff greeted you with a smile. The hotel and bar are really beautiful and lots of fun. There's really nothing about the hotel I didn't like. However if you are looking for a nice quiet hotel this is not the place for you. Temple Bar is a very hopping spot with all the great pubs and the party goes all night and into the early 4am morning. Both sides of the streets the hotel is on has lots of pubs and street noise. But the rooms are very nice~

I liked the location, Awful noise from night revellers and constant smell of frying (fish and chips?) and stale oil is unbearable. Door keyes don't work (poor system, key cards de-magnetise every other time), lift slow and inadequate.

Location, atmosphere, price, friendly staff. And their by locals popular pub & restaurant. It is noisy, even on the 4th floor at the backside. But it's cheerful noise: music and young people enjoying a night out.

the location was good. the hotel is very geared around the bars and live entertainment. it is basically a huge bar with rooms above. the hotel was not clean both in respect of facilities and decor. i was booked for bed and breakfast, but when i went down first morning the receptionist was rude and told me that nobody gets breakfast as part of the deal and that i would have to pay extra. fortunately i had a hard copy of my booking with me! the food was poor and the crockery etc was not clean.the noise at night made it difficult to sleep.

Friendly Staff, Clean rooms, Lovely bar Double room consisted of 2 single beds put together, not very comfortable, room was quite small and stuffy - sounds from the street were quite noisy. Room 102 + 103 - maybe asked for a room at the back or at a higher level. Shower was powerful to the point of painful! Maybe have a bath instead!!

It's in a fantastic location and the rooms are large in size. I stayed in a triple room with my parents and my brother and his girlfriend stayed in a double room. Both were clean and comfortable. We stayed from a Friday to a Tuesday and on both Friday and Saturday night the noise from the surrounding bars was disruptive until at least 2am. I'd stay during the week, but not on the weekends.

I like the location. The only thing that I like here was the location. A very noisy and bad smelling hotel.Bad and poor breakfast, the breakfast is available only after 7.30 in the morning so if you wont to leave the hotel earlier you miss it. I will not recomand this hotel.

If you want a hotel near the main attractions of Dublin you cant really beat this hotels location. Staff are great and open to talk with, friendly. The hotel has a great bar on the ground floor with live music pretty much every night. They also do great food during the day. We stayed Monday to Thursday as we're not big drinkers and wanted to go when the city is at it's least crazy! I would stay here again. It is in the city centre, so be ready for an interrupted sleep at night! lol We didn't use ear plugs but you might want to. The Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, we were woken around 07:30 by the banging of keg's, as the brewery were re-stocking the cellars of three bars in the back street behind the hotel. The clanging goes on for over an hour and is quite annoying! Ear plugs will fix this no doubt, but we just got up anyway. Someone tried to enter our room at 03:00 and woke me up. I spoke to the drunk man through the closed door, he thought this room was 108 but it was 208. He apologised, and the issue was resolved before i really woke up. Some drama out in the street below woke us at 3am on another night. It is the city centre, so if you don't want these issues, go out of the city centre.
