This hotel is amazing, the grounds are gorgeous and the service was incredible... would definitely return!
Our party of 4 had reservations at 7:00. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant but wwe were told to wait in the common room for our table to be ready. After 1/2 hour of waiting, we asked why we weren't seated. They forgot about us. Our server, a young girl, said, "What are you guys having?" No exactly what we expected to hear. Food was average. No effort was made to buy us anything to make up for rudeness of being ignored. The manager told us we didn't have to tip our server. That wasn't her fault and was a ridiculous suggestion. Adare Manor was the most expensive place we stayed at during our week in Ireland and the most disappointing service-wise.
The beauty of the building, both inside and out. Wonderful staff.
We had the seven course tasting menu in the main dining room. It was amazingly delicious! Our room was a huge corner room. The grounds were superb.
Everything - scenery spectacular, service impeccable but especially the dining experience in the Oak Room. The chef is a genius! Best dinner I recall in a long time - thank you. Waiting staff were excellent and delightful also.
I had to check out!
The accommodations, the grounds, the dining and the golf!
The ability to walk the grounds at leisure, and the friendliness of the staff. The tea in the afternoon was wonderful. It was nice to find a filled ice bucket and bottle of water in my room on arrival. The bedroom in the Manor was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and large, and well-lit.
Surprised when I saw a large spider in the pool after reading a reviewer's previous review about the same thing. Makes me think the pool isn't cleaned. Saw a very large spider high on the wall in the hallway. I wish the staff offered a tour of the beautiful Manor including the upstairs to get an idea for possible future visits. The dinner at the club house was less than expected and the service there was very slow and inattentive.
Beautiful location and nice golf course.
Service level and food in golf restaurant was realy poor/bad.
Beautiful setting. Quiet. Helpful staff. Large room. Plenty of space to explore.
Loud workers behind room.
Our Room. The music in the Tack room. The excellent meal. The friendly staff
I liked the friendliness of the staff, the comfort and the food.
There was a wedding there one of the days we stayed, so the lounge areas were reserved for wedding guests only. There was no area for other guests to read or relax, which I feel was very poor for a 5 star hotel
the luxury, setting and entertainment on Saturday night in the TACK ROOM
