Climbing six flights of stairs to our rooms
Super location. Walking distance to Trinity, Temple Bar etc. The front desk was always staffed and they were all friendly and helpful.
Couldn't get wifi signal in room. Breakfast area was very cold.
The location is very good everywhere was within reach. The hotel was very tidy, good breakfast and the rooms were excellent. The staff were very helpful and WiFi was available too. If we will visit Dublin again we will stay at Albany house for sure!
I cannot complain about anything
Our room was amazing, really couldn't have been happier or more satisfied
Excellent location, great value for money and easy access for the Air coach just along Leeson Street. Close to Grafton Street, St Stephens Green, Gaiety Theatre and St Patrick's Cathderal.
Just be aware there is no lift. It wasn't an issue for me but might be a consideration for other visitors.
The room was very big and comfortable, it was nice to see a hotel with a spacious bathroom and room. The location was perfect, right beside St. Stephens Green and the luas was a two minute walk so you could get yo anywhere in the city very fast!
The WiFi was terrible, I didn't bother using it because nothing would load.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Walking distance to a lot of places to see.
Breakfast, but I have Celiac's disease.
Few minutes walk to the centre, lovely old style building but done up very nice. staff were pleasant and helpful.
No lift, so some guests may struggle as there are stairs everywhere some quite steep if you are on one of the top floors like we were.
Upgraded to a large, beautifully decorated room. Very conveint location.
Be aware there is a very loud night club across the street. It wouldn't have been an issue, but the weather was warm, so the room was hot and we needed to open the windows.
The staff at Albany House were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms at the back are quiet and room 103 in the new section is luxurious. The location is excellent.
Street noise in the front rooms.
very friendly staff good position-if you want to get some rest ask for a room with view to the back as it gets pretty noisy during the week
-breakfast -pretty expensive for what it offers
This guest house is right in central Dublin by Stephen's Park. The staff is generous, the rooms are HUGE by any standard and beautifully decorated.
Good breakfast, excellent central location without being too busy
Our room was in the basement with outside access to our window, the next time I would insist on a room on the ground floor or higher.
Night porter was a bit rude when we returned
The location, staff and breakfast were all excellent. This was a great spot to be to explore Dublin on foot, and has easy access to transit and taxis if needed. Be sure to ask for a room at the rear of the building, as the nightclubs down the street can be noisy, especially at weekends, but being at the rear meant this didn't impact our stay or comfort at all.
There was an issue with our toilet constantly running, and even though we advised staff in the morning, the matter wasn't resolved by bedtime. As we were leaving the next morning, we just closed the washroom door and put up with it...but this one issue would not stop us from staying here or recommending the Albany House to other travellers.
great location and staff very friendly!
Breakfast was excellent and ample; staff helpful.
Room was musty and damp. shower grout was stained with mold and some of the paint was peeling. Carpet worn as well.
Easy to walk to many sites, comfortable, large, nicely furnished room, Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast!
the staff the morning food the location in town
the noise from the ground where the morning table was the noise from outside from young people in the night the noise from working men outside our window
Accomodation was clean with central location, very helpful staff .
Wi fi was available for 24 hours, had to be extended.
Very spacious and clean room
We loved our stay here, a fantastic location, friendly staff, clean & lovely breakfast. The four flights of stairs were not our favorite but a small price to pay!
room size, quality of staff and continental breakfast.
Location...near St. Stephen's Green and walking distance to many activities. Staff was lovely and very helpful by phone/email when we had some last minute questions before our arrival. Breakfast excellent. I shared a room with my daughter/grandson and we were able to have a double and single bed.
No phone in room. Would be helpful to have small refrigerator or somewhere to keep cold water or snacks, especially with a child in our room.
Noise on some evenings from people exiting the night clubs over the road. Could be two am.
