Centrally located and nice breakfast. Would ask for a room at the back if a light sleeper as tram tracks at front and nlight time revellers leaving near by clubs could wake you.
nice quiet room located at bag of building away from traffic, comfortable bed, hot water, wi-fi, excellent breakfast and helpful staff. ie everything worked
- Very friendly and helpful staff - Good room size - Nice bathroom and good bed
- Wall paper room 40 above bed needs replacement. - Noisy because of partying students and tram passing by.
street noise from the discos across the road kept me awake most of the night.
I managed to leave a white gold ring in the bathroom; within 20 minutes of checking out I had a call telling me - Very honest and ty
The location of this B & B is great, perfect for access to everywhere. The building is also gorgeous and very grand. Money wise a good price for what you pay for.
Wasn't keen on the bed, it felt like straw. The room had taken a knock or two where cases had hit/banged into the wall and could do with a freshen up. Disappointed with the breakfast choice, we didn't think there was enough choice bearing in mind it's only continental.
Appropriate for me due to my business location being very close to this hotel. Nice courteous staff. Comfortable room facilities and clean shower room. In this regard I will certainly recommend this hotel (except for the few issues that I have mentioned in my negative feedback)
Wifi - yes it is good that it is available - but very slow and temperamental though... could do better. No lift - my room was on 4th floor - it will be a night mare to carry your stuff and climb - no help available either as there is only one staff available....even to get iron you got to come down to get it yourself and climb back again.
Central location within walking distance to all central shops and Gaiety Theatre. So great to go back to for a rest inbetween shopping and eating.
A bit of noise from Luas outside but could put up with that.
Feels like you are at home.
Only stayed for one night, but we liked everything - Tommy the night porter was great and very helpful. Bed very cozy and clean. Everything was very clean actually. Breakfast just a continental-style, but that's to be expected in Dublin perhaps? Overall, for the money, an EXCELLENT VALUE and a very pleasant stay.
It's small really, but the lady that checked us in, I'm not entirely positive that she even looked up at us once and engaged us in any sort of conversation, except to show us the doors through which to find our room. I was left with a confusing initial impression that we were a bother to her. But like I said, that was a small matter as the rest of the hotel made us feel very welcome.
The choice at breakfast was a bit limited. In no way was it bad but room for improvement. An increased variety wouldn't hurt. Overall not bad.
Friendly staff, very helpful and approachable. Large spacious room, with bath and shower ensuite, and quiet which aided sleep before race day. Very helpful post race, with nice hot shower to aid aching muscles.
Good location, less than 10 minutes to Grafton Street, just a bit more to Trinity College and Temple Bar
clean, cheap, good location,
bit noise from street at night
central Location, clean, a bit noisy (three Clubs on the other streetside)
employed rather unfriendly, no Elevator,
Highly recommend for location to the city sights but away from the noise. Lovely breakfast
Location was great, the room was cozy. The breakfast buffet was plentiful.
Not all the staff was really friendly and competent.
We had cold water only in the shower. Everything else was great!
Me and my girlfriend 1st appearances of the albany house looked really nice. A very nice welcoming reception lobby. The room had a bit of a wow factor, we really liked it, very stylish, and a big room!! The bathroom was very modern and clean!! Location was perfect!! We would definitely stop there again.
The only 1 thing I can criticize is that it was to hot in the room we couldn't turn the rad down, but not a biggy, just open a window. ;-)
Bathroom / wet room Bed Quiet
No parking and weather was terrible all week and the walk from the carpark was awful
The convenient location, staff, price and breakfast were all great. Also being able to leave our bags after check out was really helpful.
We had a front room which meant we experienced some noise from passing trams and late night revellers!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great for shopping and National Concert Hall and to see Dublin City. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again
That we couldn't stay longer.
