We were upgraded into a massive room with a view and balcony, this was really nice as we arrived at 9am and they had a room ready for us, a very nice suprise. the breakfats was one of the best i have had in a long time, mmmmmmmmmmmmm. The hill climb was quite hard the first day but once we got used to it it got easier. |

Great hotel with a lovely style of the exteriors and the rooms; Very clean, large bathrooms with wide range of toiletries (even incl. bath salt); Excellent breakfast; Free parking on site (this is very precious in Cork City!); Great value for money; Probably my favourite hotel in Cork City. Walls were very thin so we could hear everything our neighbours said (might have been specific for the room we stayed in being located at the end of the corridor) |

The in room food was very good...location very convenient for going to Blarney and the surrounding southern Irish countryside... The only thing was the front desk staff was a little short and very little personality... |

Staff very pleasant, lovely historic building with lots of charm and character. A 10 minute walk to city centre. Comfortable rooms. Night porter Don was a great character. He's a great asset to this hotel. We asked to be moved and we were moved to a beautiful balcony room at front of hotel with a wonderful view of Cork. The first room we stayed in had a terrible musty smell. We think this was due to lack of insulation in room and inevitable condensation |

Very nice, charming period hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and everything is where you'd expect them to be. The food in the bar and restaurant is expensive but excellent. The staff are very nice and helpful. You feel at home in this hotel straight away, which is a great quality in a hotel. This hotel is excellent value for money. Little things: It was very warm during the night and no obvious, easy to adjust air-con. There is no movie system on the TV, and not as many channels as you might expect. Due to the one way system in Cork, it can be tricky to get there by car. There are not enough parking spaces on the hotel grounds, so you might have to park around the corner. The hotel, like many things in Cork, is on a hill, which might be a problem for unfit people. |

I liked the old world ambiance of the hote. The sheets were stained. There was no fridge in the room where you could keep your drinks cool. |

The location, central city with lovey grounds. Bar food was the best I have had in a long time and affordable.Staff couldn't have been nicer, great to meet the true cork people. I look forward to returning to the ambassador with my husband for a romantic getaway. |

The room was a good size. The bar staff were very helpful and professional. The cooked breakfast was probably the worst I have had in Ireland. I looked around to see that a number of guests had left quite a lot of their food. The breakfast wasn't very tasty, poorly presented (even for an Irish breakfast) and I didn't receive what I had ordered. It appeared on the menu that kippers and porridge for example were at an additional charge and only the full Irish was inclusive. Also the internet charge was very expensive- more expensive then the airport! ? |

It's a grand old building where everything is kept spotless. Lady at reception and all the staff were very kind and attentive. Breakfast was fine. Parking no problem. All in all a pleasant and reasonable priced place to stay in Cork. |

One of Corks most popular hotels, The Montenotte is the perfect base for your visit to the city. |
Jurys Inn Cork enjoys a superb location on Anderson's Quay in the heart of Cork city, overlooking the River Lee. |
Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Cork city, this period guest house overlooks the River Lee and eastern Cork, and is close to the bus and train stations. |
This sophisticated hotel is just minutes from Cork's main theatres, shopping areas and entertainment. It has a magnificent interior and superb views across the city and River Lee. |
