Staff were friendly and helpful, close to city centre and restaurants etc. Yes. Amber Hill in my opinion is not an hotel and should not be advertised as an hotel. It is however an excellent B&B. |

Excellent members of staff, very friendly and helpfull. I also like the chalet we had as we had two young kids taht can be noisy at times. The chalet would need re-decorted and maybe a bigger tv. |

Amber Hill was a really lovely guest house. Even though we only stayed for 1 night, we felt very comfortable there. Very nice interiors and very comfy beds. Very local and close to facilities and shops. |

The room was very nice and comfortable I probably would not stay again on the basis of the early check out time (11am) and early breakfast time (8.30-9.30), I would prefer check out at 12 and breakfast until 10am. Also it would be good to have some small shampoo in the bathroom, there was none. |

Nice rooms, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in common rooms. Mostly grown-up guests. Calm area.at walking distance from Salthill (20 min) and Galway (30 min) Easy access to the national roads. Some improvements could be made as for the routines of serving breakfast. (dishes, glasses etc.) Unreasonable price raise ( 50 euro per room) during Galway races. Noticed that guests who had not prebooked got the room at regular prices. |

Spacious room, good breakfast, reaonable price Noisy; our triple was on the top floor and could have done with better noise insulation. Heard a lot of banging doors during the night. |

I think Ciera was very responsive to any/all requests, concerned with comfort of amber hill guests; I enjoyed my stay there. One suggestion would be to have more information for guests about things to do in Galway County. |

We liked the hotel very much and were very pleased. I could recommend it for my friends. The doors of the rooms closed automatically and it made a big banging noise. |

Comfortable. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to the city centre on foot. The rooms facing the street are a little noisy because of the traffic. |

Proximity to downtown Galway. Nice accommodations We had trouble finding it because of the roundabout and being off the highway on an access road. |

The plentiful parking space, the internet availability and the facilities in general. I found the Irish breakfast inedible, it was a plate of grease. Granted, the continental option is available. |

Everything was fine and I had no problems at all. The directions given to get there were accurate. It might be an idea to keep a close eye on the breakfast buffet. At 8:40 on Sunday 17.05.09 there was no fried bacon - this could be because four guys had breakfast before me but a closer eye on that would mean it could be topped up for later guests. Not a problem for me as I don't usually eat breakfast and I understand that guys will want more than two rashers!!! Great scrambled eggs!!! |

I liked the breakfast and the room.I liked the little kitchen in the room and the fact we could have a cup of tea or coffee in the room. Nothing special maybe the fact there wasn't bathroom in the place where we had the breakfast... |
