The Ocean Crest B&B has excellent accommodations with breakfast included and an apartment in Salthill. It offers panoramic views of Galway Bay, within a 20-minute walk of the center of the city.
Score from 490 reviews Very good
With a beautiful location overlooking Galway Bay, Sunrise Lodge is a family-run B&B on the Salthill Promenade, just a short walk from central Galway.
Score from 378 reviews Wonderful
Overlooking Galway and its beaches, the White House is 1.5 miles from the center of the city. It offers well-priced rooms with free Wi-Fi, cooked Irish breakfasts and free parking.
Score from 531 reviews Good
Summerville House is situated just a few hundred meters from the coast and overlooks Galway Bay.
Score from 333 reviews Excellent
Great room sizes and very comfortable beds. Free WiFi in B&B, friendly staff and lovely breakfast!
Convenient location, near the Salthill promenade but not too close
The road is a small raod off the main road and we had to drive past it a few times before someone showed us how to get there. If you had sat-nav maybe easier
The structure of the house is great. The facilities are sufficient for me and my family. The room is clean and tidy. The staff are helpful. I like the guest lounge to hangout with my friends there.
Just the TV is a bit small and the hot water sometimes get a bit cold. Wifi kind of disconnected sometimes.
EVERYTHING! we were checked in a small, but very cosy cottage with kitchen. Loved every minute and didn't want to leave For the price we paid the expirience was truly magnificient
A bit far from the city centre (40-50min walk), but it's a very good area and close to seaside, so that's not really a minus, but a note
Staffs are really good.
Poor WiFi signal
Good price for a room in Galway clean and tidy pleasant staff.
Bit too far out of town - but does do fixed fee taxi rate with local company. Can hear other guests whilst in your room who unfortunately were a bit vocal during our stay.
It was reasonably close to the Galway center, 10 minute drive.
We didn't like anything really. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathtub had hair in it when we came, there was a huge stain on the silky bed coverlet, and the sheets were dirty on the sides. There were loads of college age kids who were on our floor, super loud and smoking (which set off he smoke alarms in the building). Management did nothing to stop the noise or smoke. Oh, and the breakfast part of this bed and breakfast was extra. Horrible experience.
friendly and clean and very good breakfast and cheap john dublin
all of it
House was very nice home from home.staff were all very nice and helpful would book again
Personnel was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast quite good.
The Wi-Fi signal was very deficient. Not so spacious room and bathroom. The long distance from the city centre. The picture of the room at the website is better than the reality.
Great place to stay. Everything you need clean warm comfortable. Nice staff and great cooked breakfast. Will be back for definite.
Lovely decor, very clean, helpful staff. Good value for money.
Location only negative point. A seaside view would be nice.
Clean. Italian coffee-maker for capuccino and expresso!
Its easy to access and staff very helpful.like also that you dnt pay for breakfast if you dont want it , bonus when leaving early.
Matress on bed a little uncomfortable .I
is very near to the city centre. nice staff e very lovely room!
I stayed for one evening and found this purpose-built accommodation to be of a very high standard. I received a warm welcome, quick tour of the property and information regarding facilities, etc...Staff here are polite and attentive. My room was comfortable and warm, with good wifi reception. Mint crisps upon arrival are always a nice touch. The shower was hot and had enough pressure. I didn't hear any road noise from the front-facing room. The bed was superb and ensured an extremely deep sleep. I didn't partake of the breakfast but saw excellent full Irish breakfasts being served upon my departure.
I should have had the breakfast!
Was moved to building next door, and stayed in two rooms in Amber Hill instead of Amber Heights. The staff is really very nice and helped me out a lot, the full Irish breakfast was delicious and the b&b is nicely located close to Salthill Beach and close enough to the city center. The first room was really lovely and worth the money, especially because of the big bathroom (with bathtub) and the spacious, gorgeous room. Excellent facilities in the rooms, including some very nice tea, a hairdryer and a tv. Both rooms were very lovely decorated and the beds were comfortable.
The first room was next to the reception and because of the thin walls and the position in the building, there was a lot of noise from other guests going through the front door or going into the breakfast room. The second room was more expensive and right next to a room with something that made a very loud buzzing sound every few minutes all night long, which was very unpleasant. It did not have a bath and the bathroom was quite small compared to the first room and the whole room should really be a lot cheaper. Breakfast should be a bit cheaper. The duvet was very thin considering the cold season so it wasn't very warm at night. There aren't a lot of things to do close to the b&b, not bars or restaurants so you always have to go into the city or to Salthill and there aren't that many busses.
Good breakfast with excellent coffee
great home for our hollyday!!!!!Close to the city and a peacrfull home.
Comfortable, clean and peaceful place.
The localization is a bit far to the city centre. We had to take bus to go to Galway downtown and there was bus just every 20 minutes. 8 euros for breakfast. Small room.
It was extremely good value for money and all facilities were excellent.
Thought it was a small bit far out from the city centre.
Good breakfast Helpful staff Easy parking
Old school door locks were charming but tricky
Inconvenient if you are not driving your own car. Costed 20+ Euros for taxi The light in the room is very dark
