At the end of a long day spent exploring the area, you can relax in the lodge’s hot tub, which is situated out on the deck area in the back yard.

Parking at the lodge is limited and cannot be guaranteed. When the parking lot is full, guests can park on the street. It is free to park on the street from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. every day and all day on Sundays.

Please note that Amber Lodge does not have an elevator.

Food & beverage

A self-service breakfast buffet and full Irish breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages, black and white pudding, fried tomatoes and toast) are served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. every morning. Choose from breads, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, yogurts, fresh fruit and cereals. To drink, there are juices, teas, coffee, herbal teas and hot chocolate.

Room information

As Amber Lodge is a city center bed and breakfast, some of the rooms are compact.

There are 14 rooms, including double, twin and triple rooms, which have one double bed and one single bed.

Many rooms have scenic views of Lough Atalia and the Clare Hills.

Each room is bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean. All of the attractive rooms are well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base.

The convenient location and easy access to public transportation make Amber Lodge a great base for exploring the region.
