The price on the night I stayed was 65 for a double room for the night, which was reasonable enough. Everywhere was booked out that weekend, and considering how close you are to Eyre Square you wouldn't get any better price wise with a similar location. Overall the location and the staff were nice. Other than that I don't fancy myself staying here again. Although if it's just a close bed you want for a night out on the town and your not picky, then this is perfect for you.
I usually don't give any negative feedback but this BnB just didn't sit right with me.We were given two single beds instead of a double, but this wasn't really an issue as we only had to push the beds together. The heating was on when we arrived in the evening, but off that night when I got back and the room got cold very quickly as heater was under window. There was also mould on the ceiling. tea making facilities were small but adequate. Wardrobe was tiny! And if you were a little on the 'big' side there is no way you would have fit into the bathroom/shower. All that being said the staff were nice and the location was fantastic. So it depends on what your looking for. This wouldn't be suitable for a luxurious stay but for a night out on the town it is pretty perfect!
The room (incl. the shower and the tiolet) was small, but renewed not so long ago, clean and quite pleasant to stay. Bus and train stations are at a walking distance (approx. 5 minutes walk) and the city centre is also very close.
No table (as the room was very small and therefore there is no space for it); don't come with a too large suitcase - there is not enough space it as well ;-) Heating was turned on only for a couple of hours in the morning and at the evening. Some decoration would make the room even more pleasant.
close to center of Galway. Easy walk.
bed was a little uncomfortable but ok
This B&B was affordable, comfortable and convenient. Staff was friendly, rooms were comfortable, shower was nice and hot. Very short walk from the center of town. Did not try breakfast so I can't comment on that.
Only negative thing was the wi-fi, part of the time it worked, barely, with a very weak signal, the rest of the time it didn't work at all.
Proximity to city centre
Toilet/ bathroom was very small and pokey Access to room was to go around the bakc
The staff were nice. The room was lovely. The location was amazing only a two minuet walk from the bus station. We did not get to do much up there as we were going to a wedding but plan to return next year to enjoy Galway more.
Bed was uncomfortable. Wifi didn't work in our room. Bathroom smelled funny. No hot water
Clean, near to the city center and not too expensive
The bed. The silence and quietness at night and in the morning.
the room was so cold
location and great quality/price. Very nice people working there.
I cant get wifi with my mobile in the second floor.
Great location, easy access to city centre. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good!
Close poximity to city centre
Cold & damp courtyard rooms!!!
Comfy room ,and good price
Noisy for other room at night!
Early checkout 10.30
D noise from d room upstairs over me
Central locaton and place was clean
shower wasn't even lukewarm warm
Comfortable beds and absolutely no noise. I would definitely recommend staying here.
There was no hair dryer, only a minor thing.
Nice staff. Warm room with all utilities you need for a temporally stay. Coffee and Tea in room. Just 5minutes from city centre, very calm zone.
Great location and met with a friendly face
Paid additional €6 for breakfast but it is only a continental, definitely not worth the extra €6
great location, friendly and helpful staff!!!quiet and secret place.I was there with my sister for a 2 nights and for that price I really get everything....
just that wi-fi is very weak
Caroline was so friendly and helpful as was Dave. The location was a short five minute walk to the coach station, and another 3 to the bus and train station and Eyre Square. I felt comfortable and welcome. Thank you all!
Owner was very polite & knowlgeable. We booked a couple of trips. Were picked up at B&B. Very convienant.
Room was very small, but we paid cheapest rate, so I guess what you pay for. Breakfast minimal.
Room was very light and airy, parking facility available and friendly staff
Breakfast was only continental, not much to choose from, i had asked for gluten free bread it was all broken and i couldn't even eat it, felt 6euro was a lot to pay for a few bits of fruit and toast/cereal, first b&b I've ever stayed in that didn't provide a full fryed breakfast so that was disappointing.
