I really like the location of the property, it is ideally situated in dublin city centred. The staff are always so friendly especially Heidi who is very accomodating.
At night it can sometimes be a bit a little noisey but that is dublin city for you.
I liked the room and the staff. Very nice and friendly. Great position and building. Awesome!
Maybe change bathrooms and air conditioning with modern implants.
Room was clean, facilities were really useful and the breakfast was lovely!
Some of the staff seemed a little off, not very talkative and seemed a little miserable. This was only 1 or 2 of the staff and all the others were lovely!
Very helpful friendly staff.
Clean ...very clean with very crisp smart linen for such a small hote.
Theres no double glazing and with Gardiner Street outside the traffic woke me up even on a Sunday a 6am. Television out of focus for all non Irish channels -weird. Room very boxey but then Ive never come across a georgian house that converts well to hotel rooms. My room was an original georgian double window room divided into two rooms. The partition was flimsy and I could hear absolutely everything from next door -every single word they said.
Staff, very accommodating and pleasant, spotless clean, the Irish breakfast was 1st class. Location is perfect
I honestly couldn't find anything not to like.
Everything was great!!! Close to local bars and eating areas. Not too far from the airport and amazing staff
Staff - especially Heidi - was wonderful! Great location - perfect for walking to everything. Apartment had everything we needed for our short stay.
There was some mold in the corner of the bedroom close to the ceiling and below the window. I know that dampness prevails in Ireland in the winter but it was a bit of a concern since one of our children is asthmatic. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment at the front of the building so there was noise from passing traffic constantly.
Nice enough staff
-Tiny shower -Water clogged in shower causing pool -Tiny, noisy room -Basement room...
The bath was amazing! The location was good too.
I felt at home from home here with a great service from all the friendly staff.
-Central location -Vry comfortable bed -Nice breakfast -Good radiator
-The pictures that the hotel uploaded to booking.com are pretty much all taken in just one side of the room, the side which has bed and beautiful wallpaper. The rest of the room has plain old walls and the furniture looks a bit tired. -There was tea making facility in the room but there wasn't an electricity socket anywhere near the desk where the kettle was. It made tea making annoying as the kettle is attached to a big tray with all the condiments and it can be a pain to move it all the time -Found a red spot on my towel -Shower pipe was blocked, in the middle of habing a shower i had to turn the water off and wait for it to go. -Sometimes the reception staff leave and put a note on the door which says they'd be back in 2 mins. We were waiting outside for way more than 2 mins.
Very close to O'Connel Street and Connolly station Close to the city's main attractions Clean room and bathroom Comfortable bedroom 24h check in/out Helpful staff Could buy breakfast day by day
The location is ideal and I found the staff to be very accommodating
The bedroom was very near reception so it was at times slightly noisey.
Very clean and comfortable, easy access to many Dublin tourist spots and tram /bus lines.
Bad smell in main entryway. The street that Amberley is on is dirty.
Great lovation will be going back again soon
This place is great in every way the staff were fab and the rooms are a good size and very clean
Very comfortable and clean. Very near to the city centre. The best place to stay in Dublin.
The view through the window wasn't very good but it's the only thing
the welcome we got and the hospitality of the irish people
Dirty and poor bathroom. Very old appartment, dirty carpets, no functional heating system, no water pressure, very used and old matresses, vacum cleaner inside of clothes closet. A place not to live in!
The logistics of the room were not practical - the light for the bathroom was difficult to locate. Turns out it was behind a small wardrobe beside the bathroom door. A tea and coffee making facility was provided but there was nowhere practical to plug it into the wall. The shower drainage was also not good - the water almost overflowed onto the bathroom floor. The heating also did not work. We were provided with an electrical heater however. Although not a negative experience, I would not choose this hotel a second time around.
The Location is perfect, just off O’Connel Street it is an easy walk to the Temple Bar Area, Trinity College, and all the main tourist locations in central Dublin. If you take the AirLink Bus from the airport, the drop off is right by the hotel tell and pick up point literally right across the street from the hotel. The Irish Breakfast served in the dining room was wonderfully prepared and delicious every morning. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked perfectly during the entire visit. The room was more spacious than anticipated.
Location, cleanliness, welcoming staff.
Noise from the street. No sound isolation between rooms.
Location was very good. Staff was great.
Mattress was lumpy. It would be nice if there was a place for residents to lounge and relax but there isn't much space for something like that. A bit pricey but close to downtown attractions.
