Great location near city centre, helpful hosts and a very interesting building
Rooms were set back from street, but there was still a fair amount of street noise
Easy to get to via airport city shuttle. Friendly staff, felt secure. Good value for the money.
A small, dated room on a street full of guesthouses.
We liked the guesthouse it was central so we could walk to the town there was some great local pubs with live Irish music which was fan. Lots of places to eat. We done a tour which got us away from the town which was really good.
It is quite a lively place which is fine but it was good to get away from Dublin and visit the countryside that's the real Dublin.
Clean, friendly staff, location
Breakfast could have been included in price! Room small.
good location, affordable, friendly
noisy - right next to train line shower pressure was low and the thermostat kept creeping up so constantly scalding self
Excellent location just a few blocks from O'Connell street Kind people in the reception desk
The price was high
The location was perfect - centrally located for the heart of Dublin and easy access to all the major places of interest. The staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful!
Unfortunately our room was located on a side of the hotel near a bar/restaurant with clientele that were very noisy each night til about 1:30 a.m.
Amount of stairs and breakfast
Location and quiet. Daily service of room.
Had to pay for parking. 20 euro per day. Small TV.
Manager was super helpful and friendly! Great location, five minutes walk from downtown and right on the Airlink Bus route from the airport.
Difficult to find as street addresses are confusing. Look for the sign with a blue anchor on it.
Central location, tea and coffee facilities in our room. Excellent breakfast. Efficient staff.
No parking but can't be helped - we found somewhere round the corner!
5 minutes walk from o connell street,
difficulty sleeping due to the noise of seagulls outside even with the window closed.
Location Breakfast Staff
Traffic Noise (but you expect this in Dublin and it wasn't an issue)
Staff were really helpful and friendly
The price was very high for the quality of accomodation. No parking or breakfast was included in the price
Located near planned activities.
Location Close to central bus Station and city
central location to bus terminal and City.
+ despite the close proximity to the railroad it was quiet
- be very careful when parking on the street in front of the house, cars are clamped 1 minute after the beginning of the no-parking time
Great location for seeing Dublin sites both north and south of River Liffey.
Rooms very basic, noisy, breakfast not great for money, very expensive bearing in mind facilities, very much paying for location.
That the staff was very supportive
Should be a bit cheaper
The location was brilliant. Staff were friendly.
The B and B was on a main road which was extremely noisy with traffic noise. The room was small but adequate. The socket on the wall was coming away and this was reported but not fixed when we stayed there.
Within easy walking distance of O'Connell St, shops, theatres and places to visit but Dubliners whom we met were horrified that we located in Gardiner St as it is a bad area and not one to be walked at night.
The matress and pillows were uncomfortable. No biscuits provided with tea in room. Breakfast was ok but there was no fresh bread or rolls.
Helpful staff. Location close to rail station.
A number of inconveniences to note: Faucets don't stay on. No hot water in the early morning. One towel was frayed with a hole. Rusty shower control. Peeling paint in bathroom. No A/C. Noisy bathroom fan. Shower bracket for soap / shampoo dispenser was too high for short people to reach. Brown mineral deposits in the kettle.
Wi fi Irish staff were good Location
Beds were falling apart and the room was dark and backed onto a car park where construction was going on
Welcoming, helpful staff. Good price for the location.
Having to ring the bell to gain access (even after I had checked in). Breakfast could have been a bit more generous, although it was well made and tasty. Front rooms may suffer from road noise, although I slept pretty well. I do sleep quite heavily though.
