Stayed as we were attending a wedding. The breakfast was sufficient. The room was appalling, really dusty and full of cobwebs and flies. We were disgusted by the experience. |

The food and service was good I feel that the rooms could do with a makeover as were very dated and not very luxourious. |

The friendly atmosphere and the very approachable staff. They could do with using duvets rather than sheets |

I found the receptionist very efficient the next morning in arranging a hair appt when I enquired about same. We arrived late on the night of book in, something I had both emailed about and contacted the hotel about on 3 seperate occasions. When we arrived tired and hungry the porter that was checking us in insisted that we had rang earlier that day to cancel,I assured him that I didnt, but he wasnt having any of it,There was a function on in the hotel and for a second I feared the hotel was booked.Eventually a receptionist (i think) arrived to our aid and seeing what was going on sorted out a room,She quickly added that the bar was closed which annoyed me as it was the last place I wanted to be at that hour.Breakfast was ok but the eating area needs a clean, and staff at b'fast awful. Our room was just ok.I paid far too much for the stay. |

The rooms were cold and musty. There were chipped and missing tiles in the bathroom, a blood stain on the bed and brown water in the taps. After complaining we were moved to a room that was slighlty better but still cold, musty and dirty. |

the bar was fine. nonsmoking room, ashtray on table. it was dark and decorated with brown curtains, blankets, everything. but it was the bathroom that was really unacceptable. wet room, horrible, dark grey. tiny sink, nowhere for soap or handwash, when you washed your face, the sink was so small, you'd splash your pants. it was was designed for people in wheelchairs. the mirror was too low to check your make up and the main room was too dark. there was a problem with the toilet and when you flushed it, it made an incredibly loud noise for 15 mins. btw because the sink was so small, the 2 glasses were put on the toilet itself, unhygenic! the vibrations of the glasses caused the glasses to bounch and break all over the floor so we couldn't shower. room 245. |

i enjoyed my stay at the Anner Hotel. Tonly thing i would complain about is there was a wedding at the hotel that night and noise of the music and the disco they had kept us awake until two forty five in the morning. Ihad my elderly mother and my six year old son with me. |

We were at the Anner for a wedding, the wedding itself was great and the food lovely. Breakfast next morning was also very nice. Rooms really need to be redecorated, our room was quite shabby, dark and not at all modern. It was clean but definitely not what we expected from the high price. The toilet in the bathroom did not flush and the light was flickering on and off. Room was very small. Altogether very disappointing. More like a budget room that a 4 star hotel. |

It was friendly, had a cosy feel. The hotel could probably do with a re-vamp. Also I forgot to mention at checkout that the lamp in room 215 is broken - lampshade is bearly sitting on top. |

My sister and I chose this hotel so we could go to the Rock of Cashel. While it was too far to walk (about 13 miles) the daytime receptionist called us a taxi, which arrived within five minutes. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The location from the train station (about 1 kilometer). |

Great bar/food on site. Beautiful and relaxing grounds, though there were a lot of kids there when we went. It was a little difficult to get to on foot from the train station with all the luggage. |
