Close to bus stop so you can get away from the hotel - not a place that you would want to hang out in.

No tea and coffee in rooms?!?! This was a big deal to us. The beds were very uncomfortable. Fag ash kept 'appearing' in our room.

The staff are excellent. They go out of thier way to provide the best customer service possible. The hotel is cosy and charming. Will definately return.

A great place! It is close to the beach and easy to find as it is on the main road. There is plenty of parking, wifi and breakfast (if you choose). The room was comfy and fine. There is a bar and area you can just hang out in. What was the best part of this place was the craic... My friend and I arrived back to have a drink in the bar and ended up chatting to locals, other guests, the bar man, singing songs with the guitar... An amazing spontaneous night that was so much fun, so Irish and great craic! I will have such fond memories of our stay.

this hotel needs a complete make over. the rooms are very dated, the bathroom is of very poor quality. Its cold and depressing when waking up in surrondings that look like a youth hostel

It's a cosy quiet hotel, despite being by the roadside - a short taxi ride to Galway city but close proximity to the promenade if you fancy a nice walk by the sea.The staff were relaxed and courteous. Unfortunately I had to cancel my second night for family reasons but I'm glad I found the place,it's nicely located, it was good value for money and I would definately return if I have business in Galway again.

My bathroom was facing the main road overlooking the hotel garden and didn't have blinds or curtains on the window so I felt quite self-concious getting out of the shower!! But this issue can be easily rectified.

staff really helpful and friendly, but the hotel is extremely old fashioned and in need of decorating. very expensive for what it is. decor very depressing so wouldn't stay more than one night.

The hotel was cosy,clean and the owner Gerry was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great and it is close to the Salthill area. Good value and comfortable

This place is a little dark and dingey, but had very nice beds and decent breakfast. Taxi into town cost 20 euros (about a 15 min ride). Unfortunately, I probably would not reccommend to persons other than the 'budget conscious'.

The staff at the hotel were by far the nicest I have ever met. The man on reception was exceptional with his help. Would definitely stay again friendly, cosy home from home atmosphere.

Service was exceptionally nice at the Anno Santo. We were always greeted quickly upon coming in, and any questions or concerns we had were addressed quickly. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortably appointed. The bedroom was large and sunny and faced over the street, so we could check out the weather, any traffic, and observe the action on the patio out front. Overall the Anno Santo was very homey and great for the price.

The walls are a touch thin - be aware that you may hear your neighbors! We were there during a concert and a festival both, and our tipsy neighbors were arguing, which we heard in good detail. The bathroom was clean, but the water pressure in the shower was hilarious. This seemed odd to us because the toilet must have dumped the entire Atlantic each time you flush! If Anno Santo could work out that tiny imbalance, perhaps by installing low-flow toilets, the entire self-prepping experience would have been much improved.
